My friend and I stayed here for a week this October. The location was amazing but the hotel and staff were awful. We got there , and after reading they take MasterCard , the manager pressured us for about 20 minutes to pay cash, even though we told him we had none. He tried to take us to an ATM and we said no so he tried to make us pay some on MasterCard and the rest on cash. After a long argument he finally gave us the MasterCard machine. Our room was super cold at night and hot in the morning. The shower took forever for cold water and the bed sheets and towels were disgusting. They did not give us new towels at all during our week stay and didn't change the sheets. It was stuffy and dusty and smelled of mold. The staff talked very loudly throughout the night it was disruptive. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

we had amazing expierience, amazing staff, AMAZING FOOD!!! we had the most amazing breakfast EVER!!! we arrived very late almost midnight and the staff was so warm welcome and nice to us. we highly recommand!!

Walk over Westminster Bridge to Sea life , McDonald’s , shreks adventure, London Eye , taxi from hotel £12 Madam Tussauds honestly the best location of London for all attractions , clean comfy bed ,we stayed 2 nights , Would I stay again Yes definitely !!! we just got up after shower and went out for breakfast, grabbed Greggs sandwich and bottle pop while out for lunch and mcds for tea .

I arrived at the hotel at 11 AM, I was told that I could check in from 2 pm. I was told that I could do an early check-in by paying an extra of 20 GBP. I declined as I already had increased my budget for this hotel, I really didn’t want to pay more money. I asked if I could leave my luggage, I was told that I had to pay 5 GBP. Most hotels don’t charge for that and they offer it as a courtesy. He said that I could pay 10 GBP extra and having the room at that moment, but really, I didn’t want to pay more for my room and I didn’t like that way of bargaining for getting a few more pounds. I decided to pay the money for leaving the luggage, I didn’t want to walk around for 3 hours with a trolley. I asked if I could pay with my card, I didn’t have any sterling with me. He would accept only cash. He said give me 10 euro and I’ll give you 3 GBP. After giving me the change he started doing some calculations and he said that he actually owed me 2 GBP instead, then he did the calculations again and said no, 3 GBP is fine. Really, he wanted to bargain on a few coins until the last minute. So, I left the hotel and went back after three hours. When I arrived, I heard a conversation with a customer (he was with his family), they wanted to stay for 4 days in the hotel, he offered the room for 500 GBP, the man asked if he could pay by card, the man at the reception said no, only cash. The man had to go to an ATM machine to withdraw the money. When it was my turn I asked for my room. He said that there were no rooms, he said that I was going to stay in another hotel nearby. The man brought me to the other hotel. This hotel was much more downgraded than the other one, much older, it was smelly inside (due to food), the carpet was in very bad conditions. He said that breakfast was going to be included, but this was no use for me. I wasn’t going have breakfast and a slice of preserved bread and industrial made jam definitely wasn’t going to repay the difference of the price because this hotel was definitely lower than the other one. Being a woman travelling on my own, I had made sure to choose a hotel on the main road, while this was not. The room was on the ground floor, one meter from the main door on the street and the telephone, there were people coming in or calling frequently even very late at night. There was no proof sound, at 1 in the morning I could hear other guests having their television loud on. I am very disappointed with the hotel booker, I might not be able to make names here, but you could know who I am talking about. I am definitely going to open a claim with them.

Honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Please, please, please do not stay here. On arriving at the hotel, my boyfriend and I waited 25 minutes for the manager to arrive at reception as he was ‘at the shop’ and we got no apology for this. We then checked in and were rudely forced to pay for our night, when we had already paid for it online prior to arriving at the hotel. We were then told to go to our room (room 17 on the top floor, 8 flights of stairs up) and were greeted by a smokey fog of weed in the hallway to our room. On entering our tiny room, the stench of weed from the room next door immediately put us off and then noticing the 3/4 bed laid against the wall didn’t put us in the greatest mood. The sheets were dirty, the window wouldn’t close, the TV did not turn on, the shower didn’t work and the bed had springs coming out of the side. We went out for the night and tried to stay out as long as we possibly could, however, when we came back to our disgusting hotel, the corridor outside our room was even worse smelling than before and our room was filled with weed smoke from the room next door. We rang reception and the manager arrived to our room 10 minutes later and said he ‘couldn’t smell the smell’, told us we couldn’t change rooms, although there were vacancies and then walked downstairs without an apology. It was the worst hotel I have ever been to and I would urge anyone to not go unless they want the worst night of their lives. Don’t try and save £20 like we did, and go to a clean hotel where they appreciate your custom! DISGUSTING

We stayed for 2 nights, showed up and the man at the desk was not friendly, stated that our credit card was denied and I needed to pay cash, £200 which I didn’t have on me. After a few minutes of him saying I couldn’t pay with credit card, he handed me the credit card machine. We were on the top floor, room 19, approx 9 flights of very narrow stairs. Room and bathroom stunk and were dirty. Dirty dishes in the room. Bed was okay, only positive thing was the location. Would not stay again or suggest anyone stay there.

Stayed here with my 2 daughters for 2 nights, i was very worried after booking and reading reviews, but found the hotel was fine, the room was clean, it wasnt too cramped (we stayed in a triple room and didnt have much in the way of luggage) and honestly we were only in the room to sleep, for the price (£118 for 3 people for 2 nights) i feel like we got a bargain, and i would stay here again based on the experience we had. We left our luggage on the last day, there was a small charge but it was locked securely in a room, and its a lot cheaper than the station.

Moldy smell underground room. It is totally different from the picture. The toilet and shower are outside. Wifi is also bad. The underground room is separate from the entrance and security is low. Because I was exhausted by the night bus, Stayed. However, I will never use it again. 【Claim】 I was charged a deposit to deposit my luggage, I was told later when I requested a receipt. Sraff do not know about deposit when I check out. They doesn't pay back 10euro.

Even though the price of the room was cheap for central London, this hotel has a lot of work to do to even be called cheap and cheerful. Our room was in the basement, couldn't leave the window open at night, for security reasons, so it was uncomfortably warm. The white duvet cover on one of the beds had big tea stains on, there weren't enough towels, cups or toilet rolls, so had to ask at reception for them. The continental breakfast was cornflakes and toast, and the breakfast room was quite dark and depressing with what looked like patio furniture. The carpet was coming away from the stairs, which was shabby and dangerous. My daughter's room was seven flights of stairs up, so good thing she's quite fit! Not the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at, but for what we paid, we weren't expecting the best. Very close to Victoria station, so that was good, but wouldn't stay there again.

Booked 3 rooms, 1 for a couple, 1 for another couple and 1 for a couple with 2 children, so we had access to each of these rooms. Over all the stay was fairly decent, considering how cheap it was and it's location. I'd probably stay there again due to it's price and location only. Few main things about the stay. The breakfast included says continental but it was just toast or cornflakes but we weren't too fussed as the room was vert cheap, we ended up going for an all you can eat breakfast at victoria train station food court. I called in advance to confirm my booking as I always do this and to ask questions. I asked if we could check out at 4pm as our bus was at 5pm, they said check out was at 10am but we were allowed to leave our bags there and they'd be secure. When we got there I double checked this with the staff there just in case it was someone different and he said we weren't allowed to leave our luggage, or if we wanted to we could leave them in one of our rooms but we'd have to pay the full price of a room. Or we'd have to leave them at Victoria coach station, which ended up costing us £40 (£5 per item) so that was a little irritating. They supplied us with a kettle and tv in each room as well as free wifi. Mine and my partner's room was no.17 which was on the very top floor and you had to climb 7 flights of stairs which was not fun but manageable. The first night we stayed there was okay, the shower's pressure was a bit naff but you could use it, but in the morning we had no running water what so ever, couldn't even flush our toilet, poor plumbing? Other than that the room was okay, very small but comfortable enough if you're not looking for luxury. Second room was room no.6, my brother and his partner stayed there and you only had to climb 2 flights of stairs. They had no complaints, their room was a bit bigger and they had no problems with water. Third room was for my mum, her partner and 2 kids, Room no.1, this was a very comfortable sized room. They did have a few complaints though, they said their bedding had tea stains, and the basement door was left unlocked and open all night which was 2 doors away from their room which worried them a little as they had kids in the room and anyone could wander in. They also over heard a staff member kick someone out on the first night, even though they had apparently paid to be there, but they didn't know the full story. On the second night they heard another staff member shouting at 6am asking someone to leave as they were supposed to check out by then, even though they told us check out was at 10am on the phone and then the night before we checked out they told us it was at 11am. The staff seem a little inconsistent with their rules. Over all though it was a decent place to sleep if that's all you're looking for. We were out from 9am till 10 at night so we weren't fussed about the lack of luxuries haha!
