We booked this hotel for the first time because it was $100 / night cheaper than the previous airport hotel we had stayed at. The room was okay - clean, but with a weird smell in the bathroom that I narrowed down to the overbleached towels and the soap. There was only warm/hot water coming out of the faucet in the sink. The office was closed the next morning when we checked out for our early flight, so we couldn't let them know. It was very quiet which was great for getting to bed early for a 3 a.m. wake-up call. This is a budget hotel that is fine for a one night stay, but I wouldn't want to stay for longer.
Start to finish very disappointed. We had a King size bed. Bathroom was freezing, had a baseboard heater with no way to turn on. Called front desk and was given a heater. Then had shower and no hairdryer, got one from front desk. Then no outlets in bathroom to plug anything in! No tissues, no coffee maker as advertised. We were told they had many University students that stole things so they don't leave anything in the rooms. We are Senior Citizens which Front Desk could tell when we checked in, they could have explained their problems and offered us supplies right away. The room was Very old, 60's vintage with bright pink bathroom decor. Very clean though. Sparse electrical was on the exterior of the walls. BX wiring if you are familiar. A breakfast was offered in small area within a couple feet of the Check in Desk and next to the Front Door with freezing temperatures. We are Wyndham members and although we are aware a Knights Inn is not the top of the line, this definitely is not up to Wyndham standards!!! We had booked for 3 nights to visit our son and family close by for the holidays and we stayed 1 night and checked out.
We stayed at this motel for 3 nights and we were lucky enough to get a room with a beautiful mural on the wall. Our room was spacious and very clean with everything that we needed in it. Great wi-fi and a comfortable bed meant that we had a very enjoyable few days here as a base for exploring the surrounding area. There were many places to eat within walking distance. There was not a wide variety of choice for breakfast but it was perfectly sufficient. We would happily stay here again.
Very clean Motel, located conveniently from all amenities, restaurants and shopping. Stayed there with my family and we fully enjoyed our stay! The staff is very helpful and friendly, we would be back for sure!!! Thank you lots for having us! Irina
I can't imagine how anyone would give this hotel less than 5 stars, it's absolutely amazing. My wife and our two children (ages 3 and 6) stayed here in July 2017. The staff were amazing. They were so good with our kids. Highly recommended !!!!!!
Excellent budget motel. Good night's sleep. If you're there on the weekend, check out the flea market across the street for cheap breakfast and browsing. Ten minutes drive to downtown or you can take the bus. No problem staying here again.
Very clean, great price. Good location with lots of good restaurants and things to do nearby. Joel, the clerk when we stayed was very courteous. I would recommend this as the best bang for your buck when staying in London. I'm a returning customer, and recommend this place to family and friends. Save money...more money for your entertainment and dining, or your pocket.
A basic budget motel that was fine as a place to sleep. The courtyard style motel is out of the 70's with rooms surrounding the parking lot. The room was clean but the decor was old and tired. Bed was comfortable. There was a small fridge and microwave which I didn't use. No hair dryer or coffee maker. A sign in the office says that dogs are welcome (for a small extra fee), but not cats. Limited breakfast choices and seatings. You would be better off walking to the Tim Hortons nearby. This hotel is a bit sketchy.
I stayed there april 15th/17 for almost 90$ total was horrible. Beds were so hard i didnt sleep a wink, looks nothing like the pictures at all, tv and their remotes didnt work and our microwave wouldnt heat anything, our toilet was broken when we got there and they refused to fix it so they brought us a plunger from someone elses crap, cracks in the wall, internet sucked, the breakfast is two cereals with some juice and a 6 person kitchen table to share for everyone in the entre hotel, everyone was loud and drunk and there was no sound proofing at all all you hear is people and cars . Never going there again for that price at all. But it was close to the 401, and it was walking distance to resturants and stores and bus stops and has smoking/pet friendly but it would be okay for 50$ a night but not 90$.
Very cheap price, which is what I was looking for as I had to make an unexpected trip to London, Ontario. The room was clean, bed reasonably comfortable, hotel was easy to find, and located close to several chain restaurants and to shops, and it was a quiet hotel. There was a small refrigerator and a microwave in the room, but a distinct lack of outlets for easily plugging in laptop or recharging 'phone. The room was an odd mixture of modern (flat-screen TV mounted on wall) and quite old stuff (scratched up, battered dresser and table). Room was very cold upon arrival, but the in-room heating unit did warm it up some when I raised the heat - BUT the bathroom never got warm and was, in fact, a total icebox. That made it VERY chilly when you need to go to the loo in the middle of the night and I was shivering after my morning shower. Breakfast is included in the price but was very skimpy.
