- Budget hotel - friendly staff - Short walk from tube (district line), West Kensington station NOT Earls Court. Be careful as AGODA is laying, it's Miles to Earls Court! - Small room, Thanks God I booked double room for myself & my bag beside me as no other place for it!!! - No bedside sockets, bedside lamp was poor - They change towels once a week! maybe orders!!! - No AC, room got very warm - WIFI was awful and kept disconnecting (had to use phone data) - No breakfast facilities Overall, not bad considering the price. Hard to recommend as there's nothing standout about it, To the owners: please for the love of God ditch that horrible WIFI system
The hotel is OK - for a low budget hotel it is relatively good value for money. However, during our five-day stay the heating system broke down and the temperature was 13-14 degrees in the room. Despite severeal requests we were not supplied with extra duvets. No attempts whatsoever were made to compensate us for our inconvenience. For two days there was no hot water. The reception did not do anything at all to assist guests. We were very diappointed about the way our and other guests complaints were dealt with. We were only asked to send an e-mail to management where we asked for a discount. To date no reply.
Stayed for just a night whilst in the city for a theatre visit. Close to west Kensington station (easy walking distance) a few shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Small but clean room with a few toiletries and tea/ coffee making facilities. Ensuite with plenty of hot water and fluffy towels. Great for the price
The good: - friendly staff - working elevator - room was overall clean to a good standard including shower - beds were comfortable - short walk from tube (district line) The bad: - small room - no parking (common in London hotels though, use JustPark to find a spot) - no bedside sockets, bedside lamp was poor - carpet was stained & needed a good shampoo - no AC, room got very warm - WIFI was awful and kept disconnecting (had to use phone data) - no breakfast facilities For us as a family of 4 just looking for a place to lay down for a couple of nights it was adequate, we were exhausted by the time we got back anyway so all we needed was a place that was clean and had half decent beds. The bathroom was tiny, biggest problem was the sink - it was so small we couldn't get the micro kettle under the tap and had to fill it using a glass. But the water was hot and shower pressure was good. Overall, not bad considering the price. Hard to recommend as there's nothing standout about it, but it does the job. To the owners: please for the love of god ditch that horrible wifi system, even when signed in and confirmed via email it was too inconsistent to use and kept dropping, I ended up turning my phone into a hotspot just to keep the kids happy. Also, invest in a good quality carpet cleaner because the stains spoiled what was otherwise a clean room.
Room clear but small, bathrom sink was cracked but not a problem. Main problem we had was intermittent Internet access and with a Teenage child continuous trouble free Internet access is a necessity. Road alongside the hotel is a quite road so no traffic noise at night. Staff very helpful. Easy walking distance to the West Kensington tube station allowing easy access to Central London and the Westfield Shopping Centre. Heathrow airport by London Transport Tube is an inexpensive way to get to and from Heathrow (change at Barons Court). If I was visiting London again I would stay at this hotel as it's excellent values for money.
Myself and my partner stayed here. Wasn't expecting too much being a budget hotel... But cleanliness is always expected. We were in a small double on the top floor. Myself and my partner are 5ft 3 & 5ft 4. Any taller would be a struggle in this bed. The bathroom mirror/sink is a hazard. Brushing our teeth with the glass shelf and a slanted ceiling meant banging our heads on the glass shelf. The toilet had poo stains... The carpet was not hoovered & very stained... Filthy actually! I didn't want to take my shoes off! There were hairs in the bed... The cups and spoons were dirty. The staff however were very friendly & location is good. Not far from the station and considering location it was very quiet.
the title of my review says it all. for a last minute, low cost stay in a nice part of London that has good transportation links I would recommend this hotel. the staff were lovely - very friendly and warm. the room, albeit small, was very clean. the linen was fresh and clean. a number of cafes and supermarkets in the vicinity. would visit again - thank you to the staff for a pleasant stay.
Stayed here for a night and while the property is clean and the staff very helpful, the size of the room was a slight shock. If you are travelling in summer, make sure to ask the staff for a fan because the room can get very, very warm. If you are looking for a convenient location then this might be the only reason you choose this place.
This is a budget hotel. I think we paid around $50 per night for a double (two twins) with a bathroom in the room. The bathroom doubles as a shower. It's very small. It's clean, safe and the staff are friendly. There is no A/C, but the staff offered a fan. That was plenty to be comfortable. Free WiFi. If you're looking for a cheap place to sleep, shower and accessible to public transportation, this hotel fits the bill. There are restaurants nearby and a pub around the corner.
We visited this hotel last month. It doesn't long to get there from public transport, like 5-10 min walking. From outside looks pretty and friendly like the staff working there. Renata especially helped us a lot and gave us a friendly welcome and made us feeling at home. With a kitchen service would be even better. Rooms are big enough and we had a nice sleeping, no one bothered us at all through our holidays. Totally recommended
