Stayed here for a night and while the property is clean and the staff very helpful, the size of the room was a slight shock. If you are travelling in summer, make sure to ask the staff for a fan because the room can get very, very warm. If you are looking for a convenient location then this might be the only reason you choose this place.

This is a budget hotel. I think we paid around $50 per night for a double (two twins) with a bathroom in the room. The bathroom doubles as a shower. It's very small. It's clean, safe and the staff are friendly. There is no A/C, but the staff offered a fan. That was plenty to be comfortable. Free WiFi. If you're looking for a cheap place to sleep, shower and accessible to public transportation, this hotel fits the bill. There are restaurants nearby and a pub around the corner.

We visited this hotel last month. It doesn't long to get there from public transport, like 5-10 min walking. From outside looks pretty and friendly like the staff working there. Renata especially helped us a lot and gave us a friendly welcome and made us feeling at home. With a kitchen service would be even better. Rooms are big enough and we had a nice sleeping, no one bothered us at all through our holidays. Totally recommended

Very helpful and friendly staff. The room had an ensuite shower and loo, a wee telly, a place to hang up and put clothes on shelves. The room had no fan and there were none left to give out. I was staying on the 19th and 20th and it was really warm then. The wifi was totally unreliable, you were on one minute and off the next. There is no kitchen but there's a lovely cafe less than 5 mins away. Its 5-10 min walk from the tube and is within walking distance to Queens tennis club.

A basic hotel but clean and comfortable. The room was quite small, as were all the corridors too come to think of it! But it has everything you need. I was very appreciative of the fan in the room as I stayed on what turned out to be a very hot day and night!

I have stayed here in March 17' for 3 nights whilst away on business in London. My first impressions were that it looked nice from the outside and didn't look like some ramshackle. Secondly, the staff were friendly and the lifted worked. Thirdly, the room - clean and tidy however. My gripes with the room were this. The double bed was bowed like a banana + for 3 nights i slept with a large hole in the sheets, which they never bothered to change. I could not use the sink to fill up the kettle it was too small, so resorted to using the bath tap instead. And the bathroom, sigh here, broken window with mildew surrounding. Oh yes they have free wifi, but it didn't work at the best of times. So all in all, if your looking to stay in London for cheap and don't mind putting up with faulty towers, The Kensington West Hotel is a cheap place to lay you head for the night and nothing more.

Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful, wifi unreliable and hard to connect to, kicked out every few mins, bed very comfy, room small for a triple but extremely affordable for the location, will b bk

Clean and tidy rooms, basic with no frills. Our room was fine, quite small for three people, there was barely any room to move around but it was OK for sleeping. We stayed 3 nights, it could get a little claustrophobic spending any more time there, but for our purpose it was good. Bed was comfortable and warm. Did hear our neighbours above us walking around quite a lot one night, but wasn't too bad, didn't stop us sleeping.

Hotel is basic rooms are small bed was ok but not very comfy. We were only staying one night so we felt it served our purpose. the rooms are clean but dated towels were clean and fresh. Staff are really nice and friendly No meals in this hotel but a lovely cafe called cafe continente 2 mins down the road really good food open 8am till midnight. Taxi into centre london is between £15 and £20 from this hotel DONT get UBER they rip you off they wont pick up outside your hotel and dont wait for you long enough to get to your meeting point but still charge you. Parking outside hotel is free from 8pm till 9am during day only 2 hour limit and you pay £2.20 per hour .On reflection i would use this hotel again for one night only if could not find anything else at short notice.

Three of us stayed for 4 nights. The room was small but clean. We spent very little time there so it was fine. It was convenient to the bus and tube. The room did not have air conditioning but in April it was fine.
