Nicely updated newer room. Number one for us is always a sense of cleanness. Staff was friendly. Liked having food handling gloves for serving. I give it a 4.5.
This is a convenient location to stop on our way up i75 and is clean enough, but the hotel is dated despite the advertised "renovations." When we got to our room we had no power. I called the front desk, and power was on shortly after, but the heating unit was in disarray, pieces were on the floor, and there was not a temperature control so it just ran all night. Because there was no power for a period of time, the mini fridge smelled bad too. The pool room area is also not heated, so it's very cold to sit in. The breakfast offered was also not great, so we went elsewhere to eat. All in all, I don't feel this was worth the price at all and next time we will look for a better option.
