I stayed here with my boyfriend for a couple of nights on a city break and we loved it! The staff were very helpful, polite and efficient and everything about he hotel was perfect! It was so clean and the room was lovely and big with air con, a tv, an iron and a hairdryer! The bathroom was also amazing with a powerful shower and a separate bath! The rooms were cleaned every morning with fresh towels and bed sheets! The spa facilities were also fantastic and very modern! It’s also in a good location, right next to tower bridge and a tube station a 3 minute walk away! 10/10 hotel!
A nice building design with many areas to rest, for conversations, work or drinks. Located in the convenient financial district, the online services are easy, handy. Despite all this the hotel lacks warm atmosphere, the hudge breakfast room is just functional. Convenient for business trip.
We chose the Grange Hotel as we were going to visit our daughtter who lives in London and we wanted to stay in a central hotel with a good service, but we were quite disappointed. Starting with an inconsistent housekeeping service (we were 3 in the room, only had 2 sets of towels, an hoover was left in the hallway the all day, only one bed received turn down service, bathrobes were required and we had to call back after 30 minutes to remind them and had to wait 15 extra minutes...), passing from a not very attentive breakfast service (we had to stand more than once to get the waiters' attention to have coffee), ending with a quite bad communication (we were approached by the porter who asked us about the room number that should be communicated by the reception team). These are all small things, but when you travel in 5* hotels, details and service make the difference. The worst was that some dried banana was left on the floor since breakfast time until 7pm when I informed Tony the concierge (he has been really helpful and undrstanding). Again, it may be understood that you were busy, but this is way below a 5* hotel standards. After reporting our concerns to the Duty Manager, Y., no action was taken nor apologies were extended. The room had an amazing view, this has to be said, but this is not enough to make of an hotel a 5* hotel.
I have used this hotel as a London base when attending the theatre etc. Comfortable, contemporary room with a high quality of finish. The restaurant has a good ambient dining space and the standard of food is good. The Spa facilities are very good and you may continue to use these after you have checked out. Great base for an overnight stay or for longer periods. The seating plan in the bar area needs to be improved to create a better ambience.
This is a clean, modern hotel which is so wonderful to stay in. My friend and her son, me and my daughter came here to stay. We had the quad room. It was spacious and clean. It had such a nice bathroom. We had an iron, ironing board, wardrobe and mini fridge bar. The breakfast was awesome with a variety to choose from to eat. Everything was made well and we enjoyed it very much. The staff were so helpful and kind. When we entered they took out luggage and before we got to our room our luggage was already there. My friend used the spa facilities. She had the massage which she said washe relaxing and then she had the French manicure which made her nails look beautiful. The kids used the swimming pool which they thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel was located near the tower bridge so me and the kids used the Santander cycles and went on the bridge. It was an enlightening experience. Fresh and exciting. Overall the hotel was brilliant and I can not fault it in any way.
Great Hotel position just a few minutes walk from Tower Bridge and the local Underground Station. Several Bars and Restaurants local to the Hotel. Saint Katherine's Dock with a five minute walk for food and drinks. Staff very helpful and attentive. Will be staying again on my next visit to London.
We managed to get a last minute booking here at a very reasonable price and the room was spacious, modern, comfortable and clean. We didn't have a fantastic view, but considering we only booked that morning I'm not surprised. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the lifts were quick and quiet (although all glass which can be a but unsettling), we only booked a standard double but the bed was over 6' wide and was very comfortable. We didn't try the breakfast because it was £20 per person, and there were plenty of other places to eat nearby, but the dining room looked very nice. The pool was very good and there were spa facilities that I wish we'd had time to try out. I would happily come back to this hotel again in the future.
£ 300 pound for 2 nights , with no breakfast included I thought was not good to start with , then they wanted £ 21 each for breakfast , so we gave that a miss , the room we paid for an superior double and got 2 single beds pushed together with a mattress topper also not what you expect from a so called 5 * hotel , , the room was ok no complimentary drink in the room that you usually get in a high standard room , they had a mini bar in the room which they took a deposit from us for but then decided not to open it till a day after we had already stayed , but the hotel was clean and friendly shame about the other bits
Once again a great stay at Tower Bridge! We unfortunately didn't have a view of the bridge or shard this time but the room was still beautiful. The cleaning staff were extremely friendly and helpful when passing them in the corridors. The concierge always helpful!
Good stay, friendly staff, room was spacious. Good location for Tower Bridge and the Tower. Only negative was you could hear the TV of the room next door or above quite clearly and after ten minutes waiting for the lift in the morning after seeing it go past packed we gave up and took the stairs. Not a problem though good exercise. All in all nice stay, room was clean and slept well.
