The room was OK. Upon arrival I was fairly pleased. However, once night time came around, I couldn't fall asleep because the pillows were so uncomfortable. The staff could care less about any requests or concerns - the blinds in my room were stuck and we asked to send someone to fix them so that we could get some light into the room and no one ever showed up. One afternoon we went down to the restaurant for a snack before going on about our day, we were quickly greeted and sat at a table, and served water, 10 minutes later, when we finished browsing the menu and were ready to order our food, the same woman who sat us down came over and told us that lunch wasn't going to be served for another 45 minutes, at which point we decided to leave and go elsewhere, but were made to pay for the water... But the worst part about the stay was that on the last day, there was a "glitch" as they told us, which made the toilet not flush, as well as the water pressure in the sink was so low that hardly any water was coming out - it was un-usable. And on top of that we were charged extra money for checking out less than an one hour later than we were meant to, even though we asked and warned them of it. Service was bad and I wouldn't recommend a stay at this hotel.

Ive stayed here before and had a better experience then. This time we booked a superior room but then were led to a building a couple of blocks from the main hotel, much to our surprise. The room was nice and at a good price, but was right at eye view form the street and next to two bars. So there was very little privacy and it was quite loud on a Friday night. The hotel is nice, has a decent spa and gym and good restaurants. The location is excellent, with lots to do around. Some of the staff is a bit cold, but other were friendly. A bit of a language barrier with some of the staff.

The most notable aspect of this hotel is the friendliness and responsiveness of their staff. I could not have been more pleased.

I love this hotel for the $ in London. It is one of the best you can experience.

The hotel is fabuloso, peacefull, secure. We will be coming back.

Nice spa, 24 hour Starbucks, 24 hour cocktail and food lounge

Room rates fluctuate too much, overcrowded on weekend, otherwise convenient, clean and good gym

Fantastic location and a great, accomodating service for a very reasonable price. Outstanding gym with pool, etc. Fabulous sports bar (stayed there specifically to watch MayPac - free for hotel guests and their parties) The rooms are spacious, some have a double-double option, easily fitting a family of 4.

I was only able to stay for one night but the room was beautiful and the location is perfect. There are many pubs and restaurants right next to the hotel and you can also see St. Paul's out the front door. I would definitely stay again. The front desk was very helpful because they originally assigned me a room on the 1st floor but were happy to accommodate my request for a higher floor when I asked.

I was so happy by the location of the hotel. It was right acrossed from St. Paul's church. It's a modern hotel that blends beautifully with the old architecture. A save area to walk at night. Breakfast is not included, and neither shuttle buses. There's a cozy french caffe at the corner of the hotel, Cafe Rouge. A strip mall couple of blocks away. The tour buses are right outside the church, and the tourists kiosk is acrossed from the caffe. Accessible by buses and the tube. Is a very crowded town. Be alert with kids and elderlies.

Supper good trip for me, I recommand that add more hotle services for customers.

Wonderful hotel and nice service. If this hotel add message service will be better . Room is the best one for me.

The hotel was in a good location. The rooms were small with no exterior window view, my view was inside looking at the lifts. There bathroom was not cleaned well. I found makeup marks under the sink and hairs in the bathtub. At check out I told the front desk agent of the issue, and suggested the room needed a deep clean. Her response was "Is there anything else I can assist you with?" No apology was given. As this was at the end of my stay I understand they can not fix the issue, but the front desk can say sorry for the issue, not just push me out the door.

Location is fantastic - right next to St. Paul's. The staff is very accomodating, and everyone is really trying to help. We had a several special requests and every time people at the reception were really helpful. We booked a double-double room which can easily fit 4 people for a really good price. Really good gym.

just as advertised clean neat all the stuff for a true five star hotel with out being overpriced excellent workout and pool facilities

My wife and I loved this hotel. Room on the big side, really comfortable, modern style but not cold. We were on the 4th floor, with an outer facing room. No view, but it didn't matter - the location is outstanding - literally right next to St. Pauls cathedral and a 2 minute walk to the Millenium bridge to head over the Thames to the Tate. The bells of the cathedral ring faintly as you sleep - lovely! Transport is really good too - St. Pauls Tube is about a 5 minute walk and gets into the West End in a few minutes. The area is safe, well lit and while quiet on weekends, has lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. The only negative is the hotel breakfast is expensive - but no problem as there's a nice french type cafe around the corner than did a full english breakfast for 7 pounds - very reasonable and the quality was great. Check-in was easy, very pleasant. Room was ready when we arrived. As it was Christmas, the hotel also put on a pretty decent Christmas day dinner which was nice as a lot of London restaurants are closed. Would stay again. This hotel is in my top 5 world-wide now, and I've plenty of hotels to compare this to and if I find it at the rate we got it at which was very good, I'd book it in a flash.

Great room, clean and very quiet. Good attentive staff and nice restaurants. We ate in the hotel dining room on the 1st floor, also in the Benehana and frequented the lounge at street level. Great location near St. Paul's. I added tips for servers on my credit card bill and found out later that I was not charged for the tips meaning the servers did not get my tips. Not sure if this is a hotel policy or a UK policy but I did not know this until I checked out and reviewed my hotel bill.

great location close to St Paul's cathedral. Free wi-fi was a nice value but the breakfast is very expensive considering what you get. The wait to check in however was way longer than expected for a 5 star hotel. Seems they could improve efficiency at the reception desk.

When you get in there, you feel like you just walked into Richard Branson's place. This hotel is like the Virgin Mobile of hotels. The look is elegant and modern, and the styling lines of the glass atrium really set it off. Aside from that though, it wasn't much to 'wow' over. The room was very simplistic. For every amenity, this hotel was looking to pound you. I understand that nobody gets anything for free, but when you're paying 250 pounds a night, you'd think they'd include internet. If you're going to foot the bill for this place, I'd choose a different hotel. If the company puts you up though, this would be a very accommodating hotel.

This hotel needs to work some things out. For example, the drain in our room ceased working -- so the sink filled with water and would not drain. We called three times to reception and spoke in person with them once about the problem. We were told someone would come fix the problem -- but nobody ever arrived. So we spent nearly our entire weekend with a full sink. Other things need improvement; for example, the concierge staff was not nearly of five-star quality. And the check-out line at 11 am was by far the longest line I have ever seen at any hotel, ever. The hotel is simply not equipped to handle the demands placed on it.
