From arrival to departure, the staff took care of us like family. The property was exceptional - bedding, water pressure in the shower, the immediate access to the park, and service - wow. Will stay here again for certain.
I have stayed at this hotel for over 20 years their commitment to excellent service is constant Their kindness and professionalism are the ultimate luxury in hotel stays I always feel like The Draycott is my home away from home I look forward to returning soon I love this hotel
Generally, the hotel has held up very very well. The staff is very helpful and cordial. Complimentary champagne, tea, and coca in the common rooms are all nice touches. For a small hotel the breakfast is quite good. For me, the location remains the primary selling point. One block from Sloane Square: tube station, premium shopping, excellent restaurants, and lovely walking. The hotel has a lovely old fashioned charm without being fusty. The rooms I have stayed in are all slightly different and the suites are airy and spacious, facing onto Cadogan Gardens. My only criticism is that its probably time for some refreshing some of the carpeting, lighting, televisions, and beds. Excellent for familys.
Every mornings and evenings, greeting from every nice and smiling faces. The room is giving you a very warm feeling like at home. You can take the Tube to all over the famous places around London and take a walk to the parks as well as go shopping nearby. If you just want to stay in the hotel, you can have some complimentary drinks and enjoy the beautiful garden. You probably would like to come again.
This is a perfect place for somehow homesick travelers. Location ist just perfect for shopping. Restaurants and places to see are around the corner. Lobby and Drawing Room are just perfect retreats. Rooms are small but cosy and very clean. Beds are good for a healthy sleeping experience.
No one does cozy the way the English do cozy. The small (35 rooms) Draycott is full of charming, comfy rooms, wonderful service and lovely, welcoming touches such as regular treats in the handsome main lounge (from tea/coffee & biscuits to Champagne & nibbles to hot chocolate & biscuits at different intervals throughout the day), piles of apples at the entrance and an honors bar available for guests. There is plenty of reading material, in the hotel rooms as well as public areas, including a wide array of London newspapers. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you like unique, charming with very personal and sometimes quirky touches, the Draycott is for you. I just wish I could stay longer.
My family had a wonderful experience staying at the Draycott. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. They went out of their way to be helpful. The morning I arrived from the states I hadn't slept on the plane and couldn't wait to sleep in my room. I didn't realize that check in wasn't for a many more hours. The staff was so kind. They went out of their way to rush getting a room ready, for which I am eternally grateful. Looking forward to go back to the Draycott next time I'm in London! The Draycott is one of a kind, a small, unique hotel that made our trip to London so much more memora
We were made to feel very welcome and our room was ready despite arriving early. Following a glass of complimentary champagne and armed with a very helpful map from reception we then set off to the theatre. Our room was lovely and bed very comfortable. Breakfast in our room was lovely with lots to choose from on the menu. We will definitely come back!
Stayed here twice now, and will always stay at this hotel when travelling to London, staff are amazing. Very central location, close to tube, in a highly desirable part of London. Accomodation very English, and the extras like champagne, tea and scones all add to the experience.
If you are looking for solitude following a long international flight, it's hard to imagine a hotel providing more of a soft landing than this place. Located on a quiet residential lane, with plenty of foodie places recently opened around corner, this is one cozy home away from home.
