The entire staff of the Draycott was extraordinarily gracious and helpful when my wife and I were ill during our stay. This is our preferred hotel in London for the quality of its service, the character of its rooms, its view of the garden, and general peace and quiet.
Love love this hotel for service , position and peace and quiet in the centre of London ! Very close to all shopping and great restaurants.Nothing is too much trouble for all the lovely staff . Thankyou
Delightful stay in this small London Hotel, where the general feel was as a guest in a country house. All the staff were helpful and courteous with nothing being too much trouble. Excellent breakfast. Loved it and will return.
Happy to revisit the Draycott Hotel for an over night visit couples with the final night of the Squeeze tour at the Royal Albert Hall. We have never been disappointed by the Draycott and the wonderful service. The calm, peaceful Deluxe room is beautifully decorated in the style of the building. The big room is well furnished but not crowded with plenty of room to move around. The bathroom is very well provided with everything you would expect, a powerful shower and soft towels. What really ticks all the boxes is the attentive service that the staff provide without being obsequious but all knowing what "service" means and they do it so well. They even remembered what newspapers we read last time without needing to ask. The relaxed nature of the hotel and the staff encourage you to chill out during your visit. Looking forward to returning soon.
I found this boutique high quality hotel to be everything that was on the website and more. The staff were highly professional but friendly; the rooms stylish but homely and the overall service made you feel comfortable and relaxed.
excellent hotel, highly recommend it. My daughter used the room to get dressed for her wedding at The Holy Trinity Church in Sloane Square. It was perfect and she could just run round the corner to get there on time! It was then lovely for my husband and I to return later that night for a perfect nights sleep. Thank you Draycott Team
Our return visit did not disappoint. Our room was beautiful. ( The Thorndike). Wine and canapés waiting, music gently playing, cosy and warm. The Staff are perfect at making you feel relaxed and special, some of the best I've ever experienced. The hotel is classy, beautifully furnished but never ostentatious. Breakfast and room service both excellent. I could happily hunker down for a week just reading all the books and magazines here! Thank You!
Draycott has an ambiance and facilities that are difficult to replicate- pristine personal service and old world charm- a gem of a place. I definitely want to return again as does my wife and daughters
I stayed in this hotel for a whole week with my daughter and i was very happy to have chosen this Hotel. It is ideally located in a quiet though central area, it is situated on gardens wich gave beautiful automn views. The staff is very kind and helpfull. The deluxe room where we stayed were very spacious though a bit noisy in the morning since the windows gave on the street (would deserve noise free windows). All in all it is a very charming, cosy and ideally situated hotel with a warmful staff. I would certainly choose it when I’ll come back to london.
We regularly visit London and the reviews for this hotel were excellent. From our experience having just returned from a weekend stay we were slightly underwhelmed. On the positive side the location of the Hotel is excellent - 2 minutes from Sloane Square and its bars restaurants and transport links. Our room was generously sized quiet and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent. On the downside this is billed as a 5 star hotel. There was no porter service when we arrived. We had to negotiate a private door entry system without any assistance and then carry our bags and find our room ourselves. There is no complimentary water or newspaper provision and the bathroom products were of poor quality small not adequately replenished and did not include after shower body cream. Our shower handle fell off! Overall 4 star if you book go for the top grade rooms only
