Draycott Hotel

This is truly a lovely hotel made up of a group of townhouses. Our room, a deluxe double, was a generous size for a London hotel, beautifully furnished in a traditional English style. We arrived near midnight and the drawing room - a lovely place to relax - had comlimentary cookies and hot chocolate, a very welcome sight after a long journey. The Draycott is an oasis of calm in the middle of London. The tube is nearby and the area is a real neighborhood, with small shops, restaurants and everything you could want, yet an easy walk to Harrod's etc. The service was excellent and there was always someone available to help us. There is an elevator, but even so you will have to walk some steps. I only mention this in case someone is in a wheelchair. The staff carries your luggage so that is not an issue at all. We loved this hotel and will certainly return.

A very nice location with great staff but the whole place feels tired and outdated. An urgent cleanup and facelift is needed. Our room was very drafty and either boiling hot or freezing cold. The sheets and bed were very good but for the rest the room felt like “old glory”

What a fantastic hotel, the staff very friendly and helpful and could not do enough for you. A very cosy hotel with some very good personal touches to make you feel at home, I liked the hot chocolate and homemade biscuits at the end of the day. The breakfast was very good and delivered to your room as they don’t have a dining room which again made it very personal. From outside you couldn’t tell it was a hotel and it is situated in a very quiet street within easy walking distance of the tube and ideal for getting to the west end we will definatly return next time we have a night out in town.

Stayed here quite by chance on a business trip. Very tasteful, quiet, well appointed room. Really excellent service from the moment I walked in. The best sleep I can remember! Thank you very much. I will return.

Exceptional professional, helpful and friendly staff to welcome you to this lovely house which is full of period furniture, oil paintings to complement the warm and quality decor. Nothing 'faded' or corporate about this place! The tea and biscuits in the lounge overlooking the gardens at the rear made me feel like 'Miss Marple at Bertrams Hotel' and the free glass of Champagne at 6 before our theatre trip and the mug of hot chocolate waiting for us on our return were such nice touches. Our Superior Room has to be the best I have ever stayed in with a most comfortable bed the size of Wiltshire, a sofa and armchair and the most comprehensive concealed mini bar I have ever come across. The location is fantastic being only a 5 minute walk to Sloane Square Tube and a 10 minute walk to the Thames.

I love this hotel. I was greeted by a wonderful team on reception who were genuine in their approach and really pleasant. The complimentary bubbles were an added bonus ! I can only echo the praise of previous reviews and applaud that has been put into the experience of staying here. The handmade shortbread and the handwritten note from the manager were quality touches. Thank you

Tiny rooms but excellent service and beautiful area! Close to underground and Bus. Breakfast was delicious and wonderful garden to relax. I will be back for pleasure this summer. It is not handicap accessible. It really is a wonderful hotel.

A beautiful boutique property right in the swanky residential area of Kensington. The feel of the interiors and all exuded all things London. Their sizeable rooms is pure Ye Olde style English at its best form! We were given quite a large room, complete with a fire place and high ceilings. Converted from a few blocks of apartments came this amazing boutique hotel we were told. Afternoon tea, shortcakes and hot chocolates are their signature touches daily for guests. Their little tea room facing the inner gardens (private to the block of hotels) They have their Own little garden flanked by the 2 blocks on apartments on each side. Breakfast was superb. Don't be fooled by the small basement old tea room style dining room, though small the offerings were substantial with a good choice of fresh fruits, dairies and bakery. Their hot menu completes the dining experience. I look forward to breakfast every morning here. The hotel is well camouflaged looking like a residential apartment. Need a bit of a search before I could find the entrance. A fantastic property, very memorable for an English experience.

Loved this hotel, it was perfect with a perfect location. We were lucky as we won it in a competition and would most certainly stay there again. Our suite we stayed in was beautiful and the breakfast was great.
