Crowne Plaza London - Kensington

My family of 4 stayed in a double room for 5 nights. Kensington location was great with the Gloucester Rd tube stop just around the corner. Very easy to get around to sight see. Cafes, pubs, restaurants and a Waitrose grocery just across the street. This hotel was a reasonable price for its location and nearby amenities. Staff very helpful. Garden out back was a very nice place to sit and relax. Would definitely stay here again.

I would highly recommend this hotel! It is a fantastic value and a great location! It is located near a tube station and within walking distance of the natural history museum. I would definitely stay here again!

Crowne Plaza Kensington was the ideal stay for our family vacation. We were there for almost two weeks and appreciated the modern decor, private gardens in the back of the hotel to enjoy a drink at the end of a long day touring the city, and the ease of travel since the Piccadilly Line Tube station was right across the street!

This was a very nice hotel fir me,my daughter and son. We got a suite that had a king bed on the second floor and a sleeper sofa on the first floor. We had plenty of room. We got the club level which included breakfast and evening cocktails and snacks. They had a beautiful outside garden where we would have our evening drinks. It was so nice to sit out there. This hotel is located in a quiet spot off the busy areas which we liked after a long day of fire seeing. Would totally recommend this hotel.

Great location and super nice and helpful staff.

I traveled to London with my family for the holidays, and we chose a duplex room at the Crowne Plaza as it covered our needs, was very reasonable (approximately 200 pounds per night) and was located close to the Victoria train station (and steps from Gloucester station). We could not have been more thrilled with our choice! The two tiered room was comfortable and well appointed, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the location was everything we had hoped for. Additionally, there are a few good restaurants right down the street, and even better restaurants a few blocks west. There is a Tesco around the corner for basic goods. The free wifi made it easy to summon an Uber when necessary, and on boxing day, when most services were unavailable, the concierge set us up with a nice bus tour to Stonehenge. One additional amenity that we found very convenient during our long stay was the lounge. I am not sure if the lounge is free for all residents (you may have to have a suite for unfettered access), but we used the lounge daily for coffee (I think we broke the record for flat whites in one week), and could also enjoy our complimentary breakfast in the comfort of the same lounge. Throughout the day, cookies, canapes, and drinks were served, and there is a mini-fridge that is stocked with complimentary beverages. All in all, a great place to base any England vacation from! We will most certainly be back.

Staff are not very friendly.

We had a 2 story Superior room. Bedroom on 2nd floor. Very good selection for Breakfast food. Staff was friendly and helpful 250 feet from Gloucester Road Tube station Circle-District and Piccadilly Train lines.

Very friendly staff and accomadated all of our requests of early check in and checkout. Also loved how well the hotel is marinated despite the building seemed old from the outside. Also loved its location.

Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Great location! Close to train, shops, restaurants . Garden in the back was a wonderful surprise.

Fantastic experience! Clean and comfortable. The esthetically pleasing design offered comfortable accomodations both inside and outside. The hotel has a lovely covered garden area. Even at peak times, the restaurant, lobby and bar never felt too crowded. The staff was great. Free wifi was available throughout the hotel. There was a small leak from the ceiling due to a problem with the heating system. We were relocated to an upgraded room that also overlooked the quiet garden area.

This hotel is directly across from the Gloucester tube stop, which made it very convenient to travel about town. There are many wonderful restaurants in the area, and we would often be out walking very late at night after dinner and a stop for gelato at Oddono's- we felt quite safe (although stuck to routes with other people on them after dark). The area is very lovely with many beautiful houses and gardens. Most mornings we walked to Whole Foods to get a coffee and to-go bite in the morning, taking a different route every day. Kensington Gardens is less than a mile away, and a great place to stop and people/dog watch. There are quite a few museums not far off, but you are a bit farther away from many attractions such as Westminster, etc. The tube was quite wonderful to take with trains coming frequently. It is the cheapest (and very convenient) way to get to Heathrow as well.

We arrived way before check in time but the concierge Simone was amazingly accommodating. He brought us to a private washroom to freshen up and stored out luggage while we toured the city and waited for check in time (our room was ready early). The Club room was amazing and we enjoyed snacks and drinks. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to my next visit! Many thanks!! Also Simone had great recommendations for coffee, pastries and places to eat when he heard my daughter did not like Indian food which is what their restraunt caters to. Thank you Simone!!

very nice location friendly staff would stay again

The location of the hotel is great, but a bit too pricey. It is very closed to the museums, so i like it.

Modern hotel with 2 levels of room, we stayed in upgraded rooms. Very modern bathroom, tasteful decorating and good space. Nice breakfast in a bright and spacious room, pricey. WiFi isn't free, but was very fast, able to video chat. The location is across Cromwell Rd from the Gloucester Rd Tube station for the Piccadilly & District lines; direct connection to major London sights, as well as Heathrow Airport and the St. Pancras Eurostar station. The reason I would recommend this hotel and will certainly return again is because of the great staff, which starts with the management. My group arrived late, and the hotel was overbooked, so my first night was in another hotel. I was provided transportation, was already checked in when I arrived, and received an upgraded room, free WiFi & breakfast for the rest of my stay. I also received a personal apology from the manager, and a call before I departed to see if all was well. The rest of the staff was pleasant and always seemed happy to help. Great experience!

A fantastic location. Just around the corner from a Piccadilly line tube stop (which also goes to Heathrow Airport & St Pancras Stn for the Chunnel).

This hotel is wonderful! The staff is excellent. It is literally across the street from the tube (Gloucester Road). It is in walking distance of several eateries as well as a local market. The room was very large by European standards and included a bath tub and separate shower. The bed was so comfortable it was truly hard to get up. The Crown Plaza Kensington is a wise choice for anyone looking for comfortable accomodations in London!

The hotel was clean friendly staff, onside restaurant and location close to museums, parks, cafes,, pubs and tube. Would stay again and recommend to friends. Met my expectations in every way.
