Amazing experience . Loved every bit of it .loved the location, ambience , and the most is hospitality . Food was excellent .We recommend it to everyone who wants a romantic gateway not very far from home . We wud definitely stay again .

I had gone with my wife on our babymoon. (Yes its a thing). I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a luxurious break.Very good breakfast and dinner. Aside from the location being excellent, the other amenities were too exceptional. The highlight was their infinity pool. Its a beautiful clean and well maintained infinity swimming pool. Great for a drink watching sun set in between the western ghats. The only downside was the ala carte food pricing. I found it a little too expensive. Over all, Truly luxurious, good hospitality, memorable trip with Hilton Shillim

Its a lovely place spread of 320 acres - and possibly the best resort in that region... The villas are superb with a touch of the rustic and each one has a private sit out but some of them have spectacular views over the valley. Ideally you need 3 - 4 days to soak in the place and unwind. They have excellent food options with the green table serving organic food grown on the grounds.

Best place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and get in touch with your inner-self. The drive to this resort was a bit challenging. There is a 5-6 kms of patchy road, but managable. I understand the local government starts road repairs works from next month. Once you are inside this resort, words cannot describe how beautiful and serene this grand resort is, carefully built amidst mountain, tons of flora and fauna and jaw dropping views of the Sahyadris. Check in was smooth and the welcome drink with cold towels was a nice touch. We were driven to our Villa from the Reception Area by a super friendly staff who gave us important insights of how to get the maximum out of our stay in this lovely retreat. They use Tata Nano's within the retreat and I was impressed that they have even thought of playing a soothing music inside the transfer vehicle. The drive was refreshing through the neatly paved paths tapering around this 300 acres of grand place and you soak in the freshness of the air almost starting to forget the world outside. We had noticed a lot of natural vegetation around and was told that there would be many natual waterfalls and streams within this retreat during monsoons which I am sure is going to be a blissful experience and I for one look forward to coming back during the rainy season to soak in mother nature's spectacle. The Villa was neatly kept and spacious and were comfortable. The service, the friendly faces, the ambience is top notch. If you haven’t been here, you should because you will discover how you can choose to remain within the property for days and not feel the need to venture out for anything. There is nothing that the team cannot do when it comes to requests. Last but not the least was the Spa . Honestly this experience is surely not to be missed ... The Spa Zone is pretty impressive and is very well placed away from all the villas and is an adult only zone . The have a strong focus on Wellness and Well Being. I would suggest that you visit the Spa immediately after Check In, get a Wellness Consultation done and let the resident Ayurvedic doctor customize a wellness program for your stay. For someone not interested in Wellness still pay a visit to The Spa! The treatment rooms are well appointed and nature is all around you with the sound and songs of birds lulling u into a blissful sleep while your therapist works on those tired muscles. After 5 blissful days at this incredible Retreat, as we depart we cannot help but wish if we could stay here forever!

Excellent Experience. Very peaceful Property. Food quality is very good but little bit costly. Overall experience is very good. Best time to enjoy climate & the property is From mid November till January mid.

Excellent hotel and great service, I would recommend 2 night stay minimum! Breakfast was amazing and staff was warm and friendly.. checkin process was great. Rooms were nice and spaced out very well, it’s a must visit hotel staycation. Just book your spa before you reach the hotel as the spa is too good and is generally occupied.

They had for the first time organized a three day wellness camp with famous spiritual personality Ashtar Tashi. Since it was happening for the first time Hilton had not advertised widely. Through some common friends we came to know about it and we decided to join it since it suited our lifestyle. The itinerary was fantastic. It included Vedic meals, Wellness Consultation by Ayurvedic Dr. Arun Pillai & Dr.Kushal, Sunrise Yoga with Manju, Aqua Aerobics, forest walk, Wine Tasting, cooking Experience, Ayurvedic massage with Johnson and Meditation, Chakra Session, Full Moon Meditation, Art Meditation with great Ashtar Tashi. She was gem of a person. Luckily there were only 14 people so there was a lot of personal attention beside a great bonding among guests. The whole experience was heavenly which can't be described in words. Normally in any resort we hardly meet GM but here Mr. Abhijit Ghosh spent a lot of time with guests. The Vedic food was totally different from what we eat but it was too good. Thanks Executive Chef Shubhendu, and Spa Wellness Chef Ritu Raj, Achinthya, and Ram Chandra for delicious healthy meals. How can we not thank our servers Jayanta and Rohit for always serving with a smile on their face. Dr Arun was a great guy with his knowledge and helpful nature. The entire property is spread over 320 acres with only about 95 villas. Due to our busy schedule we did not get enough time to see entire resort still we managed to see Presidential Villa which had 3 bed rooms, private pool and great view. We are eagerly looking forward to another such great trip next year !!!

Hilton Shillim is a great property for a quick getaway from Mumbai... Just 3 hours from the centre of Mumbai, it is a vast property of 300+ acres and gives a real jungle feel to it. Hospitality is warm and the rooms are large and luxurious.

Hello Team .. Thank you sooo Much everyone for your care and excellent efforts to make our event a great success - Excellent Hospitality - Delicious Food - Smooth Check In - Cordial, Humble and Efficient Staff almost like Taj & Oberoi Best Wishes Vineet Patodia

Diwali week, booked at 100% capacity...the resort was not equipped to handle the overflow of the crowd... food quality needs improvement, often food trays were empty, had to inform the waiters and wait, overcrowded restaurant and confusion & chaos and noisy. car service was extremely slow and severe shortage of cars..100 rooms booked and only 20 small nano cars for all the quests. point a to point b was too far and had to wait over 20 minutes for transportation. no adult only pools, no walking trail,no nightly entertainment, no tea/coffee in room. for all inclusive guests there was only 1 restaurant for all meals and thus overcrowding. there should be given an option at-least of 2/3 restaurants to choose from.....that way guests can have options and less crowding. only positive was vey nice villas and beautiful and scenic location. for a five star resort.....but was not worth the high 5 start resort prices we paid to celebrate a special occasion.
