The rooms were spacious and very clean. The front desk staff was very accommodating and understanding of our needs. We would have liked the restaurant and bar to reopen.
Excellent property. Elevators are at either end of the building so if you enter by the front desk, you have to walk to the end of the building. Odd. So, park at the end.

In my experience, this is the best place to stay in Burlington. It’s not the Ritz, but in SE Iowa, I don’t think you can beat it. It’s clean, the staff is friendly, and there is a bar :)

Check-in was normal, staff was courteous and polite. Loved the layout of the room, I could sit on the couch and work on my computer while the tv was being watched on the bed. I also like having a refrigerator and microwave in the room, very convenient.The down side was the bathroom. It looked like the wipe-down of the fixtures had been overlooked, including the toilet seat.The next morning we left the "do not disturb" sign off the door for clean towels and washcloths, but they were never replaced. Overall it wasn't a bad experience, although I felt like I was gouged a little on price because of the holiday, even though it wasn't close to full.
We were celebrating our anniversary and when we arrived, we were upgraded to a better room because of the anniversary. We had read a bad review about the restaurant and asked the check in about available restaurant's. She did recommend the one at the hotel and when I told her about the bad review, she said it must be an error and it was because we had an excellent meal as well as cocktails at the bar where a very nice female bartender went out of her way to make our drinks just like we liked them. The Rib Eye steaks were done to perfection and served by a very friendly waitress. When my wife and I checked out the next day, we both said that this was one of our best hotel experiences that we have ever had. We couldn't find anything wrong with it.
