Stunning, great upgraded room, good service, friendly staff. Return every year same time. Love this hotel. Central, save and beautiful. Great excellent food. Recommended so many friends and already booked next year for the family.
If you are looking for an affordable, comfortable and calm stay near Pornic, this is a good choise. It is not in the old center itself, but close enough to get there even on foot. The hotel is modern, the room spacious and the bathroom very clean. We slept very well here.
Good quality modern hotel with spacious rooms, well sound-proofed, and pleasant and efficient staff. Good breakfast. Wheelchair-accessible. The downside is the location, in a retail park a little way from the town centre, which is not exactly scenic, but has the merit of being quiet at night. It is a 7-minute drive from the town centre, and in September parking was usually possible, but might be a problem in high season.
Stayed in the hotel over night as we were passing through. A lovely room with excellent facilities. Breakfast was included with a lot of choice available. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. Would definitely recommend.
Service is good, employees are friendly, location off Pornic center within business area - not well suited for beach holidays, reasonable price, rooms clean, reasonably quite, good access: close to the highway, breakfast: good buffet. WLAN is quite bad (instable, low throughput)
This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Situated on the outskirts about a five to ten minute drive from the town. It is in a industrial area but to be honest once in the hotel you would never know. We were allocated a lovely top floor family room which is clean, modern and very comfortable. The receptionist who greeted us was very helpful and provided a map of the local area and marked points of interest, beaches and good restaurants in the local area. We were only in the area for two night and my husband had become quite unwell with a ear infection on the first night. The receptionist (whose name I can't remember) was fantastic. She called the local Emergency out of hour doctor and arranged for my husband to be seen. She also gave clear directions to the hotel. Whilst arranging this trip to the hospital with my husband in considerable pain, one of the children foolishly decided to pop her arm behind the automatic closing doors and got it stuck. The receptionist was once again came and helped my with an ice pack and assessing if further assistance was required, Luckily she was fine. We managed to have a lovely stay with the girls and I exploring the lovely town of pornic the following day. i found it easy to navigate on my own with the children and all the shopkeepers and stallholders in the local market were exceptionally nice. I was also pleased to see the same receptionist on the following day so that we could thank her for all her help. She went above and beyond. We would definitely stay again in this hotel and will come back to Pornic again.
a very modern hotel with contempoary decor, wonderfully comfortable rooms, breakfast only in hotel but excellent grill room attached. would visit again as it is situated conveniently for access to routes for visiting other local attractions, staff very pleasant
Hotel might be good but you can't call it a city hotel. It's located within an industrial area with the need to use a car to do anything at all. Pornic is a small city with a beautiful bay and staying at this hotel would be like staying in very far outskirts of Paris in a hotel called "hotel de Paris".
Absolutely the Best! Provided water, sponge and a bucket to remove the insects from my Harley. Now that is service with a capital S. Everyone at the hotel, guests included were friendly and very helpful. Felt truly at home.
I was told to book here simply because it was convenient for my host to collect me in the morning for a meeting in St. Nazaire. You know how Best Westerns generally are. This one is outstanding. Let me put it this way... if you were blindfolded and taken to the room and the blindfold removed, I can bet you would think you were in an upmarket Mercure or an Intercontinental or a Grand Hyatt. And the cherry on top is the price... like a gift that keys on giving. Cons: Location isn't amazing... no views of the beach in Pornic...its actually just off the main drag joining St. Nazaire to Pornic. Great restaurant next door. Completely unexpected treat. If you're a golfer, you'll love this. They're connected to the local club. Even if you were visiting Pornic on holiday, I would recommend this place because everything in the town will likely be pricey and you're actually not far away and will likely be paying a lot less for a great room.
