The place was adequate. I like the little continental breakfast of waffles, cereal, yogurt and coffee. It provided a place to rest. The room was not stocked well. We rented to accommodate 4 people and only had enough for two. By the time we noticed this, it was 1 am since we didn’t return to the room until late. 25 minutes from Enchanted Rock.
This was the cleanest and best maintained hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Additionally, the staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

This was a bare minimum stay hotel- the room was old, not cleaned well, lighting was horrible - which is all I could have accepted IF the price was lower- it was NOT worth the cost. The "complimentary" breakfast was not good either. Again, it was what I have come to expect from places such as these, but for less money. When you're paying over $100/night, I expect a little nicer food options.
Clock radio didn't work. Light at desk didn't work. No conditioner. Towels were small. When I went to check out, I had to wait for about 15 minutes for anyone to come to the desk. I rang the bell multiple times and even walked back to the staff door and called for help. I then went back and rang the bell again, and finally someone yelled " in a minute." No apology for the wait. I was charged $5 per hour for late checkout (I had let them know it would be late). That's the first time I have ever been charged for late checkout.
room had a funny(not good) odor also dead large roach in closet floor. breakfast buffet had no orange juice and the table had something sticky on it.
My mine reason for wanting to stay at this hotel was the beautiful pool. I spent more than I wanted just to get to take a dip in there pool. However, there was no water in the pool when I got there! Okay, I know there are problems that can't be foreseen, but I really don't think I should have had to pay for a service they advertise but didn't provide. For the price of this room, it just wasn't worth it. Nothing special. Should have been at least $ 30 less a night,
The hotel had nice furniture, nice-looking pool and seemed clean. Your standard budget motel and standard amenities, along with a nice fridge. Breakfast was adequate if you are quick. They refilled the muffins and OJ but not the coffee but the room had this on hand. Would stay here again, no real complaints except that the lighting was poor in the hotel (most of the switches were broken)so it was pretty cave-like. Could not hear any outside noise which was good.
