Lovely place in a remote and very quite place. Cristina is kind and very hospitable. The house is invested in a green hell, surrounded by trees, the pool is beautiful, the kids area is nice and safe. Breakfast is a very nice experience, the food is delicious, and you get to eat outside and enjoy the early fresh breeze of Tuscany along with the sounds of nature. The room was beautiful and clean, decorated and furnished in a rustic way yet with all the modern necessities. All in all it was a great experience. There is a nice beach about 25km far from Campo di Carlo.

Well run by the hardworking Christina. Rustic accommodation, clean and comfortable and lovely pool and gardens. Remote and very peaceful but lots of driving involved for beach trips and good restaurants. Good for cycling and, lots of wildlife and roads close by have very little traffic. Excellent bike hire shop in Denoratico with superb BMC Carbon road bikes. The accom is marketed as a Bike Hotel which means a shed to keep bikes and a copy of bike routes produced by tourist board. More local knowledge passed on by those who cycle here would be a real bonus. We were one of the few guests who did not have dogs with them on holiday. No problem at all but just an observation Favourite restaurant Il Pino for fish and seafood by the beach which Christina highlighted, in face her other suggestions were good too including good intimate restaurant in Sassetta.

Beautiful location in a top of the hill villa in Tuscany. Beautiful modern spacious room with newly remodeled top of the line facilities in an old stone charming villa. Ping pong table, pool and pristine surroundings. Terme di Sorrano located within a mile. Excellent breakfast and complimentary refreshments upon arrival. The gracious hostess was very helpful with everything. It is a must place when visiting this part of Italy!

The room is huge, pleasantly furnished in a way that suits the countryside (stone floors, dark wood, old-fashioned dresser, big wardrobe, and so on. Everything is generously sized). I found it perfectly clean in every area, despite the fact that in the country there can be lots of dust, and many customers are here with dogs. It was always clean. Breakfast is nice, yoghurt, jams, croissants, mueslis, everything you need. This is a very neat operation and mega-relaxing. But the biggest asset are the people who work here. I had a lot of organizational problems, mostly related to my lack of a car : in this area, a car is essential!!! And I didn't have one. I had clients waiting a coupe of miles down the road, and I needed to meet them, and I knew a taxi would have to come from the nearest town and that would a) take half an hour to come b) be accordingly priced c) drivers shun this kind of job for obvious reasons. I was ready to walk, but the owner just got in the car and gave me a ride. She continued to do this every time I needed one, or made sure I got a ride from someone else. She shared some of her own food with me when she noticed that I didn't have any dinner and the next day she brought me back some food from the grocery store so I could have it there. I had an organizational problem with my work in this area, and again she jumped in to help me out with her local contacts. I am not surprised some of the other customers I met here were repeat customers. I too would go back here any time because I was made to feel so welcome and found myself in such good hands.

We chose Campo di Carlo again for our holiday and were very happy with our decision (see previous review). Gracious hosts. Peaceful, relaxing, lovely setting. Well-kept and well-appointed house, garden, pool. Well-situated to explore the towns, the countryside, as well as the coast. We had another wonderful stay!

It is a perfect place to spend your holiday. The house and the rooms are comfotable and clean. The kitchen which can be used by everybody is fully equipped. Our hosts, Andrea and Christina was kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The garden, the pool and the surroundings - I dont have good words - beautiful! I really recommend this house!

we had great holidays in Campo di Carlo! The house is really wonderful, we opened our window and we saw beautiful Nature around! Great breakfast in the morning with house-made bread and yogurt and the owners very nice persons that helped us to discover the best places to eat Tuscany food We could reach the beautiful etruscan seaside that in september was not crowdy Mille grazzie and we really hope to come back with our mountainbikes to discover also nature around!!!

The house, rooms and grounds are beautiful: nicely appointed, immaculate, comfortable; trees and hills surround the place. We loved the delicious breakfast buffet every morning on the patio, and the kitchen was a pleasure to cook in for lunches and suppers when we wanted to stay in to relax and enjoy the pool. The owners - Andrea and Cristina - are friendly, gracious, accommodating, and have excellent recommendations for local restaurants, activities, beaches and towns. Our toddler (2 1/2 year-old) enjoyed the little playground and slept well, and we all enjoyed the small company of other guests. The location is in the middle of lovely countryside with nearby towns to explore (market days, the produce, inotecas ....), 20 minutes by car from beaches, 20 minutes from the train station at Donoratico. We didn't do any cycling, but there were plenty of cyclists along the hilly surrounding roads. Day excursions with the car was the way to go. It's a little far for day trips by car to the bigger towns/cities in Tuscany, but ideal for enjoying the country- and seaside.

Very friendly owners, family / B&B vibe, very good price. Not much going on around Sassetta, but it's a good base for biking.
