my husband and i stayed here for 1 night on our anniversary , we were going to watch dream boats and petticoats at the theatre next door , and booked in here for convenience hotel is lovely spotless really comfy bed and good quality linen , reception was very professional checked us in quickly explained breakfast times etc. breakfast although a little on the expensive side was lovely , you will not go hungry here. bar staff were very efficient , all in all a excellent run hotel and we will defiantly be back.
Our daughter bought us show tickets for Christmas and we chose by chance to stay overnight at Ramada Plaza which was next door to the venue. Great choice; very convenient, extremely friendly and accommodating staff; we'll definitely be booking another stay next time we're in Southport.
Great staff, great location and the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel. It had everything you could want and the quality was good. It's a shame you pay for parking, however its such a good hotel that you don't mind too much. I will most certainly be returning one day.
There is lots of space in the hotel for anyone with mobility problems - wheelchair - mobility trolley etc. and the staff were always ready to help if needed. Location is also excellent and Southport is very flat.
Absolutely fantastic Hotel and stay, decided to treat my partner for her birthday as she as had lots of ill health of late, I really couldn't have picked a better place, stayed in room 416 stunning views across the lake as far as Blackpool tower and the Big one, 2 large really comfy beds, floor to ceiling windows, we honestly could not fault it, mini fridge ( not mini bar) which came in useful for partners medication, every hotel should have one IMO, special thank you to Janice for allowing us into room early on arrival, she was also great throughout our stay, even booked us in extra night at special rate, also thank you to Vicky for taking time from her busy schedule to show us round the stunning suites which hopefully can stay in in the future, but must say every member of staff made you feel special, cleaners to bar staff, male cleaner even offered to carry luggage to car, didn't eat in restaurant but did use bar menu, once again faultless, the hotel also as 24 hr bar, which came in useful, I Highly recommend The Ramada Jarvis Southport, I really can`t wait to return. PS Thank you staff for my partners Birthday Card.
Arrived at the hotel using the hotel car park which was underground and only £4 per night which I'm happy with that, the lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful with my check in, when entering the room, I was surprised the size of the room and the view, large room and view was great. So top marks to the hotel. Thanks and I'll be staying again. 👍
Room and service were very good only disappointment was the 3 course meal on first night as part of the deal. Choice very limited so we chose 1/2 roast chicken as the main. Hardly any chicken on it at all bones.
A very special stay at the Ramada. First class in every way. We always enjoy this hotel. Was disappointed with the food last time but excellent this visit. Will definitely return this year. Very friendly staff who go out of their way to assist.
Stayed overnight on a Saturday night for a wedding, room was over looking the promenade and was stylish and very big. Staff at reception that greeted us were very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast the following morning which was lovely and there was lots of choice.
Generally good experience. If it's very windy avoid the 5th floor if possible due to wind noise from structures on the roof. Would also advise asking for a room away from the lifts which can also be noisy. Good food, nice lounge and bar and friendly staff. I wouldn't hesitate to return if I can get the right deal.
