Great location and staff, rooms were just ok. The restaurant was good too

Loved the estate and the historical artifacts, and the excellent service and fun atmosphere with weddings galore, though they did not disturb us. We slept very well and what a fantastic breakfast. Well worth the 9 pounds. Coffee was brilliant. Nice walk on the adjacent promenade. Roger and Patsy Kealy, White Rock, British Columbia, Canada.

Close to the beach, but loud noises in room 1 all night long. Complained to staff, said they'd look into it. Nothing was done--sounded like elephants jumping in the room above all night long. No apologies. Disappointing, loud stay.

Value for money, very pleasant and helpful staff. Ideal location to visit Liverpool or Wales . Great views of the River Mersey and it’s Estuary. This was my second stay I will most certainly stay there on my next visit .

The castle is soo awesome!! Very romantic. Amazing rates. Nothing to complain about. The view was very pretty. The staff were super friendly. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

While the caste front is authentic, the remainder of the hotel is a newer building, so you are no really staying in a castle. Dining facilities closed early (9pm), many of the items on the drink menu were not available. Staff was ok, but there was a big wedding going on (and they are promoting weddings at the hotel), so the non wedding guests ran second fiddle,
