On a two night, three day leisure visit. Hotel an easy 20 min stroll from limestreet station and just across the road from docks. Lots to do and see all within a short walk. Stayed in a few Days Inns and this was the most basic, def not “a room with a view”. As a place to sleep it ticked the boxes but we were out exploring all day so it was fine. Clean, freshly painted indoors and staff friendly. Hotel has no lounge area and restaurant is canteen like and empty outside of breakfast. However the two free drinks, part of our deal, were delicious. It served a purpose but not the kind of hotel you would spend time in apart from sleeping. Breakfast had all the ingredients, the coffee and orange juice good but the rest fairly basic quality

This hotel was a good choice for the City Centre. Great location, good quality rooms and very clean. However, why does the website not have any information about where to park? It was so frustrating to arrive and not be sure where to park. We stopped outside the front of the hotel and went in to ask. They explained how to get to the car park, which was easy in fact, but then we faced a long walk around the main shopping centre trying to find our way back to the hotel which wasn't nearly so easy. There is another nearer car park that for some reason they didn't direct us to. The website has no mention of car parking and their map doesn't show any car parks either. In fact the map doesn't even show the correct location of the hotel - because the postcode of the hotel takes you around a couple of back street to what I assume is the rear entrance (which you can't enter!) It can't be difficult for Days Inn to ask each Manager to sort a convenient car park, describe it properly on the website, and then to include sat nav postcodes for the car park and the hotel that they have tested and that actually work! This all made the whole experience very frustrating and although the staff were excellent, the service provided by the website was dire.

The room is spacious and so is its en-suite bathroom. Just didn’t expect that the toiletries provided were packed like a budget hotel type. Also, the bed was originally twin ones that were combined to become double bed upon my request. I praise their effort in fulfilling the request, it is just that they haven’t found a way to make the ‘bridging’ part as soft as it is usually done in a budget hotel chain like Ibis. In Ibis, you don’t even realise that most of their double beds are twin ones combined because you don’t feel there is a difference/harden part in the middle. Didn’t booked with breakfast as plenty of good choices nearby. Location wise, it is perfect. Almost shares a wall with James Street Station, so very convenient. And many restaurants & pubs available in 5-min walking distance.

This is such a central hotel - especially with the price. It's fairly basic but there is everything here that you need. The bathroom was very clean with nice toiletries and the room had a good space to work. You can add breakfast, which is pretty cheap if there are two of you, but not so much if you are travelling solo. It's a pretty basic breakfast too. Friendly staff as well. A good stay for one night work stays.

Fantastic stay at the days inn and a great location too. Fast check in process also. Friendly staff and lovely rooms. I didn't have breakfast on my booking but upgraded when I arrived and it was £7.95. Lots of choice. Well worth it. Rooms lovely also modern. Thank you for a lovely stay will definitely be returning :)

Booked a last minute deal for one night at this hotel. Right next to James Street Station and just over the road from the Museum of Liverpool and Albert Dock. Didn't take long to walk to the Cavern Quarter and the centre. There is a Tesco Express should it be needed, just around the corner. Staff at reception were very helpful when they couldn't find my booking and soon sorted things out. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a serve yourself buffet and was ample. Would book again should I ever return to Liverpool.

Booked in for a 4 night stay for myself and my husband. Check in was fast and efficient. Our room was nice and spacious with a lovely bathroom, all lovely and clean and modern decor. We had a problem with our kettle tripping the electrics in the room but the duty manager sorted the problem in no time. A few more hangers would of been handy with us staying for a few nights but we made do. The towels were a great size and really crisp, just lovely after a nice powerful hot shower. The duvet was nice and thick and a great size much bigger than the bed. Would be nice if they had softer pillows as well as hard ones and investing in better mattresses like Premier Inn have would be beneficial for those staying longer. The staff were extremely pleasant and Ria on reception was especially helpful and always smiling and polite. Due to me having health issues we couldn’t sleep on the first night sharing the bed so I asked for another bed to be put in the room so we could sleep separately. This was done without any question or charge. During our stay we had a fresh bedding change and fresh towels when we needed them. I definitely recommend this place and we’re the mattresses more supportive for my illness we would stay again. Thank you to all staff on duty during our stay.

We stayed for one night 23/24 October , reception staff were very polite and helpful. The young man in the bar was lovely , food was great . Room was clean and enough space for what we needed. Location great near docks and town centre, We paid to have breakfast there was a good variety . Overall great place to stay for a short break. There is no car park but we were offered a discount from the hotel for one near by.

Reasonable price in good location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a all you can eat buffet style with a good selection. Double room was spacious. However, would recommend that you ask for a room not on the road as ours was very noisy from the traffic and the bed wasn't too comfy.

The staff at The Days Inn Liverpool were very friendly and helpful. It has been the highlight of our trip to UK. The Hotel is literally right next to James Street Station it was right we're we wanted to be. The room was very clean well equiped and he bed was super comfy. Thanks to the staff for a great stay
