Common areas smelled like mold. Sheets and pillows smelled when I crawled in to bed. Breakfast was very poor. Will not stay here again.
This hotel IS pet friendly. Take my advice and check before you trust orbitz when they say a hotel is pet-friendly
Holiday Inn was easy to enter and exit. The rooms were clean, and staff was excellent.
Dirty , charged 50 for pet and was not made aware til We checked in , auxiliary doors didn’t work , tv had no signal !extremely disappointed as the prior night sHoliday Inn in Bristol Va was great !
So, arriving at the Hotel we were pleasantly surprised at how upscale it looked. My family and I were promptly helped, and were told of the amenities provided by the hotel. We left the lobby after check in and drove down to the rooms, we got into our room and found it pleasantly cleaned and it smelled like a regular room, not the locker-room scent, or corn-chip smell, or mildew smell you usually get with some 2-star hotels. Now... This is where everything falls apart We were asleep, and around 4 AM, someone walks into our room; not a hotel employee, but another hotel guest? I'm not sure. We wake up, check out, but before we do we decide for breakfast... You have to pay for it. I... Literally never had to pay for 'comp breakfast before, or I thought it was complementary~ Our server was very lovely, but the portions, and lack of actual ingredients for our food made the experience that much worse. $45 *with tip* for food that we could make ourselves for about $10. I suggest skipping their 'cafe'.

The hotel is very nice, staff very friendly. The room we were assigned had A/C problem, they promptly moved us to a new room. Overall our experience was a very positive one. The only thing that was disappointing is the restaurant is extremely slow. Appears there is only one cook. On the one day that we ordered room service it came missing items. They did correct it, but everyone else was done eating by the time we got the rest of our order. I do appreciate their efforts to make things right. Very convenient and easy location, very clean rooms, pool was nice for the kids, overall great experience.

I was pleasantly surprised by the brand new looking modernized rooms. The staff were very courteous and helpful. We should've asked for softer pillows but were too tired to worry.
The hotel is conveniently located to businesses and the expressway. The rooms were great. The service was excellent. We did not think the breakfast was worth 10.00 but the hotel is very close to other options.
