I booked this hotel using the IHG app. Chose the offer for the stay plus a welcome drink and free breakfast. Was surprised that breakfast was not free with every stay. When I checked in the desk clerk never smiled, did not welcome me nor did she acknowledge me as rewards member. After checking in I had to ask for the drink and breakfast that was included. She gave me 2 vouchers. The bartender was super nice. I ordered room service later in the evening and it was delicious. The breakfast was freshly made and the server was wonderful. Room had plenty of space and bed was comfy. Would stay again if needed.
The rooms were modern and luxuries also the Hotel had plenty of parking and everything from the front entrance to the well designed outside was immaculate. Just doesn't stop there I dropped my wallet and a wonderful lady and awesome staff member found it and called me right away and the GM went above and beyond to assist me and not only to make sure it was returned but took care of anything that I needed without hesitation. I am truly grateful to the Holiday Inn and also the wonderful staff member "C" and the GM for being so amazing! I can't thank you enough...
This hotel is well situated to get on and off the highway. It is a very convenient hotel for just about anywhere you wish to go in Little Rock. It is very clean, has a comfortable bed, and the service staff is very good. The breakfast looked ok.
My wife and I stopped for the night on a return trip home from Denver. This room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. I was glad to have two large pillows on the bed instead of the 4 or 5 small pillows a lot of places have. The Wi-Fi wasn't too great early in the morning and slowed to 1-2 mb. The desk host directed us to a decent pizza place for dinner. Breakfast in the dining area of the hotel is made to order but is expensive for what you get. They needed more help there when we visited as there seemed to be only one man that was taking orders, cooking the food, serving and bussing tables. It was a very long wait for a breakfast that wasn't worth the cost.
This is my first stay at this property and this one is a huge property with plenty of parking space and located in prime area of Little Rock. The rooms are big equipped with basic amenities. Perfect business hotel. They also have a restaurant which serves breakfast and dinner.
We had an early doctor appointment in Little Rock today and came up yesterday evening. This is our first choice and favorite place to stay when we have to overnight in Little Rock. The location is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms have always been comfortable. The free Wifi is reliable and plenty fast. And cooked to order breakfast is great! I recommend this hotel. They don't disappoint.
.....however it was kind of off putting. Maybe this is what you get in the south in summer but the hotel just had an air of dinginess. Bath smelled moldy, lobby bar want not open after 9 pm(nearby hotels do have bar service) and the hotel staff was generally indifferent to rude(my profile said as far away from elevator as possible; we ended up in the room closet room to it!). My IHG status is suppose to get late check out, but a pounding on the door at 11am announcing check out time soon arrived. A call to front desk was again treated angrily and gave us 30 more minutes. There are other hotels next door...Courtyard and Embassy Suites...but is ok for just a one or two night stay to see family and the price point is good. I will not return.
After reading the excellent online reviews for this hotel, I expected a better experience at the Holiday Inn West Little Rock. We stayed only one night as we were passing through town. The room was reasonably clean (although it was uncomfortably small) and the bed was very good. The hotel is located in a nice, safe part of town, with lots of eating places close by. Those are the positives. On the negative side, the staff at the front-desk were completely discourteous. The young lady who checked us in could only be called rude. No smile, no welcome, nothing pleasant about her. Customer service must not be the priority here. They don't even provide a complimentary breakfast. If you want anything in the morning, you must pay for it at the small dinette in the lobby. Considering that virtually every American hotel in this price-range offers free breakfast for their guests, I was annoyed that this hotel charged for it. I expected better service here. The next time I'm in this area, I will choose a different hotel.
We have been staying at this hotel for the past 3 years during a week in December and early June each year. The last time we were here in December, 2016, our vehicle window was broken out and truck burglarized. The management said they had no video camera of the area and thus we didn't learn of the crime until the following morning after it rained during the night. Turns out several vehicles in vicinity were also hit. Of course this can happen anywhere so we decided to return for our summer trip. Checked in Sunday and requested room on first floor. They put us on fourth floor with no explanation. Only 4 cars in parking lot so hotel was mostly vacant. The check in staff person was on her cell phone and appeared annoyed she had to check us in so she probably was not focused on our request. Next we didn't get our points added to our rewards IHG account. We usually get 300 points at checkin. Then when we returned from a long day having departed at 7am to find our room not touched by housekeeping we called the front desk and were told a manager would check on the issue. Now 2 hours later, no call, no nothing. We have no clean towels and are dead tired. Needless to say we are frustrated and ready to find a different hotel on our next trip.
This Holiday Inn is beautifully decorated. The lobby area is truly inviting with a small limited menu restaurant and great seating. There are TV's in the lobby and great conversation areas. There is also a nice area to sit in outside around a fire pit. The rooms are very nicely appointed and there is plenty of grass around the outside for your doggies. Yes, they allow pets here, and it is well worth the 50.00 cleaning fee to have your dog at a really nice property on a long trip! I highly recommend this property and the staff. They are very friendly and nice to work with. This is our second stay here and will come back.
