VIP Executive Eden Aparthotel

Not knowing this was an Aparthotel , Formery a theatre I was amazed at how they transformed It to a 4 star hotel. The convenience of many modes of transportation, shopping and Restaurants cannot be beat...you can walk to everything, even the Portuguese supermarket Pingo Doce ! The view from the pool top terrace is great for picture taking.

I loved the location - easy to walk to many destinations, train stations, and restaurants. The roof deck bar has outstanding view and wonderful place to sit and relax after a long day of touring. The room are average, but adequate. The hotel staff is not terribly helpful. They provide bland, brief answers to questions about how to get somewhere and they were not always accurate. They also gave no maps. However, the hotel worked for my friend and I and we would recommend.

This property is interesting and was probably very nice a number of years ago. It is dated. The room smelled stale. The best part is the rooftop pool and observation area. It's an old theatre which was wonderfully converted to an interesting hotel.

Only at this hotel for one night but do plan to return. Perfect for its location, friendliness, convenience...included partial kitchen...

I don't normally write reviews but I would like to help fellow travelers major headaches. Please stay away from this hotel. This hotel needs to be updated in every way. The flooring is stained, the bathrooms are old and moldy, the bedding is lumpy, and the rooms have a foul oder. We had two rooms booked for a couples trip, they not only put us on separate floors but also gave us twin beds in one room. The drains were so slow to drain that you had to turn off the water and wait. The management at this hotel is not just extremely poor but also very rude. We were told that the hotel was totally booked so they could not move us to another room. They would ignore you if you were trying to talk to them, no sympathy just bad attitude. We had pre-paid for this hotel for 5 nights but checked out after the night and booked another hotel in the same price range which was extremely nice and well run. I am now attempting to get reimbursed from for the 4 nights I did not stay at this hotel. On our European Trip we stayed in 3 other cities and we were treated very well in every other city. The hotels were not modern but were very clean and well run. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the area, it is in is centrally located but other much better hotels are just a couple of metro stops away. Stay away and you will save yourself major grief.

Hotel is more apartment style but it's in a great spot by the tourist buses and is nice hotel.

Great hotel in the heart of Lisbon, a few steps away form the Rossi Square.

I arrived at the hotel at 9AM after an overnight train ride from Madrid and they checked me in right away!!! The kitchenette was most useful - if you like to cook seafood the way you like it.

We arrived in Lisbon after an overnight flight from the US and were delighted to see the hotel the second that we stepped off the bus that we caught at the airport. The arrival from the airport could not have been any better. The hotel was located right in the center of Lisbon and convenient to everything that we wanted to do in Lisbon. The staff was exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to book a room for us at another one of the VIP hotels in Portugal. I would highly recommend staying with them.

i do not recommend this hotel. although it is very centric, it is not really a 4 star hotel. perhaps 20 years ago; now it is more a 3 star hotel. so lower your expectations from the very beginning. since it is so old, you are bound to have problems. the first night i had to move all my luggage to another room because the air conditioning did not work. in the new room there was a short circuit because the wiring system is so old, and i had to move again to another room. the problem was that the power converter of my mac book pro was damage as a consequence, and even after searching all lisboa for half a day, i was told that this power converter was not on sale in portugal. therefore, i was without my personal computer for the remainder of my trip! the manager refused in a very cowardly way to compensate me (she suggested that there was a power outage in all lisbon!!!). so you should know that in a hotel this old, there can be issues that will not be fixed -- avoid it at all costs!

First, they refused to check us in until 3 PM, even though the reservation stated that check in would be 2 PM. The room was tiny and AC didn't work, so they moved us to another one. They refused to give us safe keys because the person with all safe keys was unavailable. The sign "room is ready for cleanup" was ignored for 6 hours until we came back and no longer wanted an intrusion. Hotel pool did not have clean towel available two out of three days. etc etc etc

The hotel had the best location. The staff were very helpful and spoke very good English. The condition of the rooms were not the best I have ever seen, but managable. I enjoyed my stay there if its just a place for you to lay your head after exploring the city then this place is for you!

This was one of the highlights of our trip as far as a hotel can be. It is located right in the heart of where any tourist could possibly want to be in Lisbon. Everything is in walking distance, or the bus and metro are just outside the door. The staff was very accomodating as we didn't like the view of a wall from our room, and they changed it with no problems. The only warning we have is when you go look for dinner on the nearby streets, it is like being assaulted by used car salesmen trying to corral you with their menus. (This has nothing to do with the hotel.)

Hotel is nothing special but you cannot beat its location. The staff I dealt with was helpful but a lot of times didn't have correct information on the city. For the money this was a worth stay for our small group of friends we had.

Hotel is in a great location and has a great rooftop terrace with a pool, bar. Room was well-appointed, clean and well maintained.
