Just returned and had a great stay. The rooms were modern, spacious and luxurious. The breakfasts were excellent. The staff were some of the best staff I have ever come into contact with. The staff were friendly, pleasant, knowledgeable and very helpful. Hotel centrally located, taxis are cheap and there is a good Brazilian restaurant just off the other side of the road. Would definitely stay here again, loved Lisbon.
The Sana Lisboa Hotel was the perfect location and very close to the Lisbon subway. We spent almost a week there and loved the clean and quiet rooms. After hot city days, it is great to return to your own little sanctuary. Staff was friendly and helpful with advice, but their breakfast buffet was fabulous. Any type of eating style could easily be satisfied!
Nice hotel, well located, clean, very friendly bar tenders and breakfast staff, great wifi, light blanket, elevators available... and Nespresso coffe for breakfast! Yes Nespresso instead of this dirty water they sometimes sell you as coffee.
I´ve been staying quite a few times at Sana in these last years, and I always loved it. Location is extraordinary, less than a hundred meters from Marquês de Pombal, where there is an underground station, being all of it a plain way: no steep uphills, what may make a difference for some especially in this city. This four-star establishment may seem a bit overshadowed in a district where there are so many swanky five-star hotels. But don´t be fooled by that. This a very good contemporary hotel goes far beyond you can usually expect in its category, even considering that both in Portugal and in Spain four-star hotels usually have high standards. You will notice it at once, just as you enter the sleek lobby and you are welcomed by a friendly and impeccable staff. The lobby and other common areas are wide, contemporary, absolutely clean. Rooms are not as big as some other five-stars around, but are impeccable clean, furniture and TV set are new. Good bathroom too, but not too big. Beds are incredibly comfortable. If possible, try to get a room overlooking the central park, you´ll get nice views and although Pereira de Melo is a lively avenue, with intense traffic, there is a good isolation. You won´t hear any noise. By the way, although the hotel is undergoing an important expansion -apparently, an entire new wing is being built on an immediate plot-, you won´t be bothered at all by the works. I didn´t hear any noise. There´s also a fitness centre and a small spa area at the basement. This last time I didn´t have time to go there, but I remember that it was enough for some relax time or for a dip after a hectic day exploring the city, but it wasn´t a special strongpoint, Very good breakfast. Better than what you usually find in variety, quality and service. All in all, a very good urban hotel in an outstanding location.
Stayed here for a meeting I have in Lisbon. A very nice Hotel for it's price, right next to Avenida da Liberdade where all the top luxury shops are. Modern and clean deco. Confortable bed, and a nice lobby bar to have a drink.
Glowing reviews around on this website and I can only confirm all of them. From the lobby to the room, it all breathes luxury and friendliness. We have stayed in a standard room but believe me, it is anything but. Nice size, new furniture, wonderful bathroom with luxurious amnities. It is exceptionally clean but gets cleaned twice a day! I can add nothing to the comments made about the breakfast buffet: it is diverse and plentiful and fresh. Staff is also very helpful, speak good English and are very friendly. Locationwise; twenty-five minute walk will take you into the city centre but the Metro is close by (5 minute walk) as are all the important buses. The airport is by bus 20 minutes. We have stayed in room 812; def. recommended.
I have stayed on this hotel several times on business and last time for pleasure. It is a high-rank hotel with good service, clean and well maintained accommodations. The hotel is situated near the Marques de Pombal circle and not too far for a walking to the old city of Lisbon (coming back will be uphill a bit). The breakfast is very rich and tasty. The hotel has a nice gym. Service was friendly and professional. About 150 euros a night.
The hotel located on the city center, which is great to take the boulevard from it directly down to the sea via the great city circuses on the way. The hotel is new, very nicely decorated, clean, for a couple the size of the room is perfect and the room & bathroom very comfortable. The service level is very high, and breakfast is delicious and provide many options for cheese, bread, eggs, sausages& vegetables. Highly recommended!!
This his a very good hotel in a good location , the rooms are nice ,the people are friendly and the prices are good . The breakfast has got a good choice and well presented with a fantastic coffe , I would recommend this hotel .
Centrally located, friendly staff, clean. Good bar with decent food and mixed drinks that are like little works of art. Don't miss Bruno's caipirinha! Hotel staff was great and even helped us get a rental car. Only complaint is we paid for early check in only to be told the hotel was sold out so they couldn't honor the request (again, we paid extra). I was too exhausted to make a fuss. Regardless, I would recommend.
