My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in August of 2017 during our honeymoon. We had a wonderful stay and didn't have any problems. We really enjoyed the free Pastels de Nata (custard-filled tarts) at the front door each day. 1. Location is AMAZING and within walking distance to trains, subways, historical landmarks, the Time Out food market, etc. 2. The staff is very friendly and helpful 3. The room is very clean and comfortable- (we stayed in room 212). 4. The hotel is across the street from a restaurant but the sound-proof windows allowed us to sleep comfortably without hearing any noise. 5. They'll hold your luggage free of charge if you have a late flight- check out was noon but our flight out of Lisbon wasn't 'til 8pm. We left our luggage with the ladies at the front desk and they had our luggage waiting for us at 5pm when we got back to the hotel on our way to the airport. Room 212 is a corner room and gets LOTS of natural sunlight and has black-our curtains if you want to sleep late. The taxi ride from the airport is about 20 minutes and costs about €15. Going out at night was usually done by Uber's or Taxis and usually cost us anywhere between €5-€7. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next trip to Lisbon. Thank you for an amazing trip, LX Boutique Hotel. Cheers! Tom Brooklyn, NYC

I love this hotel! The location is great as it is close all the wonderful sights in this amazingly beautiful city, it is very central to the riverfront and close to Alfama and Chicado (take sensible shoes as Lisbon sidewalks are very slippery). The rooms I have stayed in are very tastefully done with an exceptionally comfortable bed, very nicely designed (we stayed in the suite on the top floor with a private outdoor balcony and also a superior room). Due to the location (it's next to a lot of night life) it can be a wee bit noisy at night as the area is very busy at night, however, ask for a room on the upper floors and facing the river as its quieter. There is a restaurant in the hotel but I only ate there once as it's a Sushi Restaurant and coming from London I wanted Portuguese food. What truly makes this hotel exceptional though is the staff. From check-in to check-out, they are very helpful. They assisted us with restaurant reservations, recommendations on where to visit and how to get there and they did it with a smile which I felt to be very genuine. Overall, I really love this hotel and having been twice, I look forward to visiting again very soon.

The location of this Hotel is excellent but unfortunately some of the rooms (ours!) was above bars and a club it was therefore very noisy, they did offer to move us but unfortunately only one of our two rooms. The hotel is beautifully decorated but unfortunately suffered with lack of sleep. A nice touch is some sushi and a welcome drink on our first night. The staff were very friendly and rooms very clean and fresh looking but sleep is important so it did affect our stay.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights and it is really quaint and comfortable. The entrance is off a very busy street and the sidewalk at the base of the stairs is extremely narrow and slippery so be cautious. A friend almost slipped right onto the road in oncoming traffic. The entrance is very welcoming, clean. The rooms are cozy and very clean. Beds/pillows very comfortable. Shower great. Great location - 10 minute walk to the centre and about 20 to the older section of Alfama. Basically across the street from the Metro station. Enjoyed the complimentary wine and sushi - amazing sushi. Wish we had not made plans and would have stayed to order more. Would recommend this hotel - a tip to note is that we booked this very last minute (about a week in advance) and received a very good rate. If you can do this plan to book closer to the date. It is on a busy street so we did hear noise in the middle of the night but was not horrible. Balcony with shutters - nice to open and catch the breeze and provide a nice dark room at night.

This a truly nice hotel, but with very small rooms in a crowded area. Lots of bars and restaurants which are quite noicy long after midnight. The rooms have a window between the bedroom and toilet which i absolutely don´t like. Very kind and helpful staff though.

The staff here were very friendly. The room was very clean. They were quite nice about storing our luggage when we arrived too early in the morning for our room to be ready. The layout is a little confusing because they seem to have combined two buildings, but it's really easy once you get used to it. While very historic in the foyer, the room was very modern, if a bit small. But we had a nice room looking out onto the square, which was were you can catch the metro or the tram to Belem, so that was nice. Lots of plugs in the room. The bathroom was very nice and very clean. I would stay here again.

Beautiful boutique hotel in very central area. Still, the room was quiet and dark as an isolation tank. The bed was magnetic. Nice perfumes in the hallways. Perfect for light sleepers and lovers of beauty!

Nice location. Very convenient neighbourhood. You have everything and reach to most of attractions on foot. But a little noisy outside bars which last until 4 or 5 am on weekdays. But i would come back for next time. Worth for what you pay for. Attached the view from the room i stayed

Great location, charming hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. The location is great, in the center of town and in front of the station. Close to restaurants and bars. Not ideal if you mind noise as it's very close to a very lively area.

I have been to Lisbon several times and as a travel planner I have stayed at and viewed a wide range of hotels. I am loving the LX Boutique hotel for several reasons: first its lovely and clean! The location is perfect as it is within walking distance of the monuments, close to the action along the river and a huge range of restaurants and bars again within walking distance. Check out the market style eating places at TimeOut, it's just a short walk from the hotel. The staff are fantastic, a great selection of food for breakfast and during the 3 nights we were at this hotel we enjoyed dinner in their sushi restaurant twice! We loved the grilled tuna and the tempura prawns! I would definitely come back here again and highly recommend this hotel.
