So close to everything. We walked everywhere. Lots of great restaurants and cool rooftop bars nearby. Rooms are small but really well appointed. Staff are fantastic. Free wifi. Free Portuguese tarts and port every afternoon!! I can't wait to come back!

Perfect location, close to the water, Time-out Market and subway. The front desk was always very helpful and even contacted me before our arrival in case we had any questions. Our comfort table room was small, but this was not a problem as it was well appointed and had a balcony with a good city view. Excellent restaurant. LX Boutique is our first choice for when we return to Lisbon.

The hotel is at walking distance from all the major attractions in Lisbon. The staff is very friendly. The room are amazing. I had one with the bathroom separated by a glass wall. I really recommend this hotel!

Beautifully designed, the photos are true. We had a large spacious room with a nice bathroom...great shower. There were two doors out onto a balcony that overlooked the water...gorgeous! Central location, right at the start of Bairro Alto, however, that means it was loud. There never seemed to be a time when there wasn't a traffic jam, honking horns, or police and ambulance sirens going. Also Friday and Saturday nights are very busy in this neighborhood. There was loud music from the bars below until the wee hours. But, if you're into that scene...this is the place to be.

We loved our room and the facilities including Marshall Bluetooth speaker! Breakfast varied and freshly prepared. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Centrally located. Only downside noise from nearby clubs but will be returning.le

Me and my husband stayed here for a city break in May. The hotel was decorated in a stunning classic blue and white interior to match the city tiles. It was a great location, really central and 2 mins from the timeout market. The rooms were also decorated in the same style but were a bit on the small side. We had an issue with the air con but this was quickly resolved and we had a great nights sleep after that. There must have been good sound proof windows as it is a busy area. The breakfast was ok but there was a limited selection. A bonus was that they would leave the left over pastel de nata at reception in the day. The staff were also very friendly and helpful! I would recommend staying here!

I cannot fault this hotel from the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in a superior river view room and it was very spacious with a very generous size shower and wardrobe! Location was also perfect right on the waterfront. Nice little touches with Port and custard tarts complimentary in reception. I loved Lisbon and I would definitely stay here again!

The LX Boutique hotel is a lovely place to stay for a long weekend in Lisbon. Weighing it up against Alma Lusa, where I stayed in January 2017, LX wins my vote. The decor is simple but elegant and guests can enjoy mini pasteis de nata and a drop of port when coming and going from the reception. The blue and white theme throughout echoes Lisbon's maritime routes and is typical of the local azulejo style. The staff are pleasant and helpful (and their uniform is super stylish!) The lavender products in the bathroom smell delightful. Location-wise, the hotel is fantastic, it's just a hop from the Time Out market (a visit to Mantegairia for a Nata is a must - tastier than those of the famous Belem!) and is a short walk to Praca do Commercio and the main high street Rua Aurea which leads up to Rossio Square). I can't speak for the breakfast as at 15 euros per person we opted to explore local cafes instead, however judging by the hotel overall I imagine it would be of very high standard. The only disappointment was the noise during the night. Despite clear efforts to combat noise pollution with great double-glazing and interior window shutters in every room, we were plagued by the sound of a drum and bass night on a casual Wednesday evening until around 5am. Other reviews warned of this, and if travelling for work (as I was!) or if wanting a calm and quiet retreat, this place probably isn't for you. Luckily after a full-on daytrip to Sintra and miles of walking in the heat, I was ready to collapse when it came to bedtime, but despite being unfazed by the noise due to tiredness, I dozed for the whole night. The hotel however was otherwise a very pleasant experience.

Everything was perfect from the moment we checked it till we checked out of the hotel. The ambience and decor was superb, and the room was fantastic with a nice view of the neighborhood. the complementary pastries and welcome sushi plate was a nice touch, and the hotel staff were very friendly. Best hotel I stayed in during my 3 week trip in Portugal. The only issue we had was that the room phone did not work, and the room service menu is way overpriced.

I have chosen this hotel after my company told me that the comon hotels that we usually use were fully booked. I navigated through Booking and found this loved 18th century (am I right?) rebuilt building in the heart of Lisbon for an excelent price. I didn't think twice and made a one night reservation. When I have arrived I was like "Wow, how can the price of this property be lower than a 2 stars hotel at Parque das Nações?". What a lovely room (modern and beautiful), what a great breakfast (lots of fruits, pasteries and a fabulous strawbery juice!) and the most important part, what an expectacular staff, always ready to help with a smile on their faces. I will for sure advise my Company to let us stay there from now on! The only recomendation that I'd like to leave is that the orange juice could be fresh made just like the others. Thank you for this great experience!
