Fantastic hotel option next to Rossio Square in Lisbon. The staff is very friendly and attentive and pricewise is a tremendous value (even within the hotel restaurant). The hotel rooms are small, so be prepared for that. Otherwise this hotel is highly recommended for anyone visiting Lisbon. We'll be staying there again the next time we are in town!

Location is perfect, right on Rossio square, close to shops and restaurants, with sites within walking distance. Rooms are spacious enough, clean, well-designed, living up to the hotel's name. Bathrooms are modern with fixtures that are up to par. The staff aim to please. They are courteous, helpful and amiable. Breakfast is extensive, with a view that can't be beat. All in all, it was a pleasant 5-day stay. If it matters to you, they have a safe in the room, a wide flat-screen TV, fast and free wi-fi, and multi-direction shower heads. They also give you disposable slippers, a bathrobe you can use, and there's a coffee maker in the room. And last, they can store your luggage when you leave Lisbon to explore the rest of the country. This hotel is a winner.

The location was great and the staff was fantastic. Bathroom a bit too modern for my tastes

What a place. Clean hip and fun right in hr heart of the historical district, we joined the hotel chain which has 500 hotels globally and can't wait for our next visit! A-

Best location in all of Lisbon. Easy access to subway stations and hop on hop off bus. Hotel is very cute but much smaller than we were used to. Breakfast was very simple - not much choice as far as hot dishes.

Everything was better than expected. Location its incredible, staff impresive, food, rooms, ambiance perfect... I can't say anything negative about the hotel. Love it, and will stay there again anytime.

Great Location. Rooms were smaller than I anticipated. Breakfast was great. Overall a very good value!

My wife & I stayed at this hotel based on recommendations from a travel website and were very, very pleased with our stay. The hotel has the perfect location - right in the central square and steps from the Rossio metro stop. Staff was very friendly and helped us with restaurants, sights, and taxis. The room was more than adequate. Small, but very clean with good A/C and hot water. Breakfast was standard European fare with the option to order hot eggs. We will absolutely stay at this hotel on return trips to Lisbon.

The location and staff were superb. Our room was on Rua Augusta, the main pedestrian street in downtown Lisboa with views of Rossio Square. We were able to see some of the Freedom Day and 1 May festivities from our small balcony. Plus, the staff is top-notch. Excellent value!

A great location in a unique hotel. We stayed on the "Pop" floor, so it wouldn't have been my first choice aesthetically, pleasant nonetheless. Unbeatable location.

LOVED our stay at this hotel. All staff were very helpful and conscientious. Rooms were modern and very clean. Special shout-outs to Nuno (provided daily tips based what we wanted to do that day), Goncolo (picked us up from the airport and told us a ton of helpful info during the ride), Maggie (who designed a walking tour of Coimbra for us), Hassan (who somehow managed to buy/find some rope in the middle of the night and met us at 7:00 a.m. to tie our irregular-shaped baggage for us the day we departed). The location is central to many of the old neighbourhoods you'd want to explore, and is directly on one of downtown's most popular pedestrian roads (Rua Augusta). Subway, and tram stops are just steps away. Ditto for the bus terminal to take a day trip somewhere (Sintra, anyone?). Take the tram #28 to tour through the beautiful old neighbourhoods (i.e. Baixi, Chiado, Alfama, Bairro Alto). We fell in love with Portugal on this trip and will be back, and when we come back, we will most definitely return to this charming hotel.

We had a wonderful stay in Lisbon. The location of the hotel in the city center was great, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The interior design is very interesting. The restaurants that Fabio recommended were all wonderful. We enjoyed great Fado singing in one of the restaurants. All staff members were all kind and friendly. The breakfast buffet had a very nice selection of great food. We appreciated the room service for breakfast because our departure flight was very early.

If you want a hotel that is in the heart of Lisbon's neighborhoods and restaurant scene, this is the place. It's an adorable boutique hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful. One thing to note, if you want to take advantage of the hotel shuttle to the airport make your reservation early.

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel that contributed to our overall great experience in Lisbon! Everyone at the front desk was incredibly helpful and friendly and they can't do enough for you and do it with a smile always! The location of this fabulous boutique hotel could not be any better which makes it worth the price. Hotel has an amazing philosophy/mission about ensuring guests are happy, and we were!!!

We just got back from Lisbon and stayed for six nights at the Internacional Hotel. We stayed in the cocoon room on the zen floor. This hotel is a very well thought out concept hotel, with exceptional, thoughtful staff. From the turn-down service in the evening, where we were treated to pastries and chocolate on our pillows, to the excellent suggestions for restaurants, every aspect was perfect. The hotel is located in the heart of the Rossio district, a short walk from all modes of transportation and tourist attractions, yet the double windows screened out all noise. We were happy to have taken the breakfast option and to start the day with a lovely, varied meal, with as much thought to presentation as to taste.Highly recommend this outstanding accomodation.

This is a great value-for-money hotel in a location right by the beach. Many families were staying here. However, front desk staff were slow to attend to requests and one was very rude. There were no towels for guests at the pool.

Great. See previous review. Again the staff was outstanding. I am just correcting a mistake in my previous review.

I strongly recommend this hotel. The location is perfect for Lisbon. The rooms were spacious by European standards. The staff was outstanding. I would give them six stars if possible. My only complaint was the hot water did not work too well in the sink but I did not want to spend any time dealing with it so I did not even mention it. The metro is just a minute walk so you easily can use the metro to and from the airport with luggage. Again, the staff (particularly Nuno) went above and beyond the call of duty.

Clean, fresh, crisp sheets, excellent view onto Rossio Square and Rua Augusta. This was an outstanding hotel. I loved it. Wish I could have stayed longer. 2 pastry shops right nearby. Great location, great staff, excellent breakfast. Couldn't ask for better. The hotel even offers babysitting.

I wasn't expecting this to be such a fantastic hotel! The room (we had a cocoon without much of a view) was large, great closet space with a safe, large 42" flat screen, queen bed, a/c unit and a really nice bathroom!! The lime green toilet paper was pretty funny too! Each floor has a different theme and we stayed on the Zen floor...a quiet retreat! The bar is also good though its usually pretty empty, but that just means better service and a seat with a view of Rossio Square! The hotel offers free wifi throughout which is great for international travels without data/3G service. The front desk was very helpful with directions and helping us out with some toiletries that we left behind. For a tourist, this is the location! The Aerobus from the airport drops you off very close and you're in the heart of the city so it's easy to walk, bus or train anywhere. One of the best hotels I've stayed in and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Lisbon. Highly recommended!
