great experience, close to transportation, food, and shopping center

Great hotel outside of city center but easily accessible. Great for the price. Beds a bit noisy but otherwise comfortable and large room. Nice bath supplies, good wifi.

Nice hotel, very clean. Though very close to metro, doesn't have many restaurants close by. Encountered a staff not so polite. The bed makes noise even when you just sit. They advertise for free turkish bath, actually there isn't any, and the jacuzi doesn't work.

Excellent location. Clean, nice. good service. good amenities.

great experience friendly people and a safe city with a lot to do , eat , drink , and shop.

Need a very small car to get into the parking garage!

Stayed here two nights and found staff to be nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Location is a bit from downtown but hotel is near the Metro so that's not a problem. Bed was very hard.

Nice and comfortable, great location. Staff was really kind and they had everything I need

The staff, breakfast and accommodations were excellent except for the uncomfortable hard bed.

Everything was great except for one thing: the bed squeaked a LOT. This is a major flaw in the bedding in my opinion, and especially for a 5 star hotel. They have the mattresses right on a wood base, a mistake, causing a lot of squeaking. Other than that, the hotel was simply perfect. If they can solve that one problem, the hotel will be perfect.

Nice staying, staff formal but polite, give us a upgrade room that was very confortable. Close to metro, and to Corte Ingles ( supermarket ), beside a nice church, easy find restaurants nearby.

Feels like a boutique hotel even though it is larger than it looks. The location is great because walking into town is very possible, and there is a metro station very near the hotel. Having a Corte Ingles store (huge, including a great grocery department) near the metro station is an added plus.

Everything to the VERY good. Not large and splashy but quietly classy. Breakfast buffet is a must-do--delicious, elegant spread. Staff uniform ally cheerful, courteous and helpful. We didn't want to leave.

the hotel is not close to Castle. Do not pay for upgrades.

Beautiful hotel, well located, close to the Metro, the Contemporary Art Museum, and El Cortes Ingles store. Staff speak English and are very helpful. Great restaurant right across the street and many small economical cafeterias in the area. Spa and steam bath were nice after a day of sightseeing. Enjoyed the beautiful reception room where you could sit and visit with others or read as you wished.

Met our expectations - perfect location. Could use some minor updatilng

The location is off the beaten path some. Staff was friendly. Bathroom smelled like urine. Bed was extreme firm. Quiet.

Older hotel but well maintained. Staff was very helpful in making restaurant recommendations. Conveniently located to one of the largest shopping stores in Europe.

We were on a European trip (Germany, Austria, France) and decided to go to Portugal. We did not know what to expect because we really didn't look into it. The hotel was unbelievable. Everyone went out of their way to help. The service was amazing. We didn't get bathrobes in our room and when we called it in someone brought them within 5 min. Breakfast was fantastic. Everything was super clean. We took advantage of the pool and saunas. We also used the hotels airport transfer service. They were very punctual, very helpful and super nice. I would stay here again.

Kind attention to your need's, very clean place. I had an upgrading for sure and enjoyed my stay very much.

Dear Guest, We are happy to know that you have had a enjoyable stay with us! We are glad to know that our location and cleanness were positive points at your stay. As for the bed, we appreciate your comment as it is extremely important for our daily improvement. Concerning the Jacuzzi, we would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and we also would like to inform you that we are doing our best to resolve this situation as soon as possible. We were surprised that the staff was on the negative side, since this is always a positive as pointed out by our Customers. At our hotel the main concern is to be friendly and be totally available to our guests. We have a high standard quality and we are looking forward to an oportunity to show you this. Kind regards, Ana Cláudia Branco Customer Experience Manager
