We stayed for 5 nights over the New year period. Location was great bring so central and close to Marque de Pombal metro. We got the metro straight from the airport and was at the hotel with in half hour and cost less than 2 Euro The hotel was clean, our room was modern and comfortable. Continental breakfast and a daily supply of egg custard tarts went down a treat. Hotel receptionist Marlene was so helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable. We felt that we had made a friend and nothing was too much trouble for her. If you stay here then Marlene is the one to ask for advice on where to visit. We saw so much more thanks to Marlene’s recommendations.

For an Ibis Style this hotel is disappointing. Rooms are bigger than the standard Ibis but there was no style (i am comparing to other Ibis Styles from Berlin and Budapest). The bed was comfortable, bedding clean. Toilets clean and great shower however there was a constant damp/canal type of smell in the bathroom which was not so prominent if the window was open and the bathroom door closed. But each evening when returned to our room the place was stinking. Even after we bought a cheapie car airfreshner and hung it from the lamps. But maybe it was just us, being unlucky and other rooms were ok? Breakfast seemed plenty on the first day but it kind of needs some variation as eating the same thing for 6 days kind of got boring. I loved the tea and coffee in the lobby and the green apples.

At the first day when we checked in..there was a disgusting smell from the bathroom(room 606). We made a complain at the reception and The same day they changed us to the room 602...! It was nice but VERY NOISY & the sink in the bathroom was really terrible!! The room was very clean every day from the cleaning ladies...they do very good and hard work!! Many thanks to the girls from the reception...especially this one with the short hair....she is amazing and always smile!!! You are happy to see her every day! -The breakfast was ok...not something special!!! -The decoration of the room is very old. If I will come back?! To this ibis hotel I don’t think so....

Excellent as a whole, the hotel is close to the Lisbon center and the Metro, the room is very clean There are some things to have improvements: the noise from the heating system and in the room 802 there is an unpleasant smell from the bathroom.

This Ibis Styles is in a great location within an easy walk of most destinations. The staff was excellent and the breakfast restaurant had some of the best views of any similar hotel I have stayed at. The room was clean and very quiet. Highly recommend staying at this hotel on any visit to Lisbon!

good location, close to Pombal Square - that means to the upper end of Liberdade Avenue; subway from here to Baixa, to airport, etc; from the hotel, in no more than 45 min, you could be into the airport with the subway cost; till Restauradores Square (the lower end of the Avenue, from where you could take train to Sintra - 15 min); till Placa do Comercio - 20 min, etc the staff is great, they were for a great help for us - to organize the best trips, to keep safely the luggage, etc another good point is the breakfast level, on the roof of the building, with a great view over Lisbon; so each morning you could enjoy the city till the water bad points - the elevators, you need good nerves, once you go in, it is not sure the direction it follows, up or down, it depends and the breakfast is on a local taste, i suppose - no vegetables, just one cheese, nothing warm - bacon, egg, nothing and regarding people with physical handicap, which use wheels chair - there are some steps between the reception level and the elevators one - those steps could not afford the climbing without help

Great location just a short walk from the main Margues de Pombal Square. Easy to find and a welcoming friendly reception area. Quick check in process with a nice member of staff. Complementary apple and hot beverage available. Fantastic room with triple aspect view of the Lisbon skyline. Room tidy and with all the facilities required, even a small fridge. Room larger than expected for the budget. Breakfast included which was up on the 9th floor. Exceptional panoramic views of Lisbon, what a great way to start the day!

I had all kind of problem in this hotel: bad location, they change my reservation at the first day, at the room the toilet was broken, the shower stall was clogged, the room is not very isolated well, we can hear the sound of cars at the street

Well located close to the Metro station(Marques Pombal) which made access to all the city sites very easy.We bought a day ticket(E6.50)as the Lisbon card did not seem suitable as we would not have visited all the museums. The ticket lasts for 24 hours from validation & includes the airport, bus , furnicular & trams. Trains are a seperate ticket The hotel was comfortable& the staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was plentiful & the usual continental. There is a supermarket next door. Everyone raves about Sintra but we thought it was overated. I have been in far better National Trust properties. If you must go do so in the afternoon after the crowds have moved on. That is true for most of the sights of ;Lisbon as the Cruise ships tours are there in the mornings.

We were on the 7th floor of the hotel and the air conditioning was not working (Hot air rises so the higher up the hotel one got the hotter is got). The weather outside was mid to high 20's and when I approached the staff they said there's nothing they could do as the air conditioning was due to be set to "winter mode" (I assume this means heat would be generated as opposed to cool air) which made no sense at all as this suggested that the air conditioning was still in summer mode and should have been cooling rooms and other areas of the hotel (The breakfast area was also very hot as it was at the top of the building. Trying to sleep in such temperatures was ridiculous and made the stay unpleasant to say the least. Not very happy. Spoiled what was meant to be a trip to a lovely city.
