We stayed five nights and wish we hadn’t for the price . Two single beds pushed together and fairly claustrophobic small room and private bathroom . Luckily we spent most of the time touring Lisbon and Sintra so we didn’t have to endure the hotel room . I could say the Wi-fi was good and the room was cleaned everyday . And the staff were ok but didn’t speak English well so I gave up communication . I wouldn’t recommend this place and we were glad to leave . Bear in mind the room we had was overlooking a lot of washing lines from the block next door and one woman there is definitely mad and she talks loudly from early in the morning . You can tell her to shut up but no difference .
Hotel is in superb location, 3 min from 3 metro lines (green, red and yellow), it's so easy to get around, catch a bus to Matosinhos or city center. If you are not afraid of walking, you can easily get it on foot in night from Bairo Alto, 15 min walk :) I can complain about room size and very weak WiFi connection. Overall it will be 4/5 but staff was so helpfull and polite that i can totally recommend this hotel, 5/5!
Nice hotel to have as your base visiting Lisbon. The hotel is in a convenient location and the hotel staff can help significantly with guidance. Some nice places for quick snacks around. Accessibility from airport is pretty easy, you can reach all the popular destinations from the hotel easily too. Internet all over the place very convenient. Facilities quite old but clean and functional.
At the start of January I went with five other friends for a 50th birthday celebration to Lisbon and stayed in the Dinya Lisbon Hotel. The hotel was very clean and tidy, all the staff that we spoke to were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was a continental type breakfast with cheese, bread, ham, croissants etc. The rooms had a television , wardrobe, a safe if required, a table, a couple of chairs, a decent sized bathroom. The only slight issue would be that the single beds were fairly narrow otherwise it was a pleasant stay and certainly good value for money.
Great for the price. Well located off the noise of traffic and night life. Good in providing information about the city and tourism in general. I booked and paid for my city tour from here. I got the contact for car rental and they came to deliver the car to me. The only complaint is that I included breakfast which wasn't so good, no fruits considering the easyly available and cheap fruits of Portugal.
It's great value! Stayed 5 nights at the hotel in May and were very pleased with the helpfulness of the staff and cleanliness of the room - towels changed every day and room tidied. All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Karim on reception who advised us on how to get about easily and places to visit. It's within walking distance of the Metro and Breakfasts were very good too. I discovered I'd left my sunglasses at the hotel when we had left, not only were they found, Karim was brilliant at arranging for a courier to return them to me in the UK!! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone 👍
Close to subway stations, and at a walking distance to nice restaurants and shops. Clean and a good hotel in general. Nice and helpful staff. Simple but nice breakfast. The front desk is open 24/7. Free wi-fi.
Clean, little bit old fashioned hotel. Approximately 700 yards from the nearest underground station. We did not use breakfast, but there are plenty "pastellaria's" in the neighbourhood. Elevator is very small
The only negative side for me: When you go out from the hotel, you have to leave the room keys at the reception. I do not particularly like leaving things and documents in the room someone I do not know has free access to, but, well, it might be me... Lets switch to good sides: 1. We paid 80 euro for 4 people in 2 rooms. Really great price for a short city break! 2. Place is stunningly clean and well-maintained. So if you have second thoughts about 2 stars, don't worry - it is safe, clean and convenient. 3. It is easy to walk from the place anywhere you want to. Downtown is some 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. 4. I got really great advice on the place to eat out locally by the receptionist. By the way, there is a receptionist 24/7, so you can ask for help or for the taxi at any time. 5. Great place for a short stay! 6. Wi-Fi is free! 7. Air-conditioning. 8. TV with good selection of programs not only in Portuguese. 9. Shower and bath with good pressure. Lovely!
A good hotel in general. The staff is helpful and nice, even though some members of the staff don't speak English that well. Some noise could be heard from the streets through the window during weekend nights. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. There isn't a lot of space but it's enough if you plan to spend most of your time exploring the city. Wifi worked surprisingly well. Good choice for a budget traveler!
