When you pull up, you will be scared. Looks like you are in the projects. However, the hotel was very nice. Staff were helpful and they starve food which tasted good. The location is close to the airport and they arrange transportation for $20 USD each way. I would stay here again if overnighting.
Found this family owned & operated B&B online. Just needed a place to stay for one night before a flight to Cusco the next day. It’s not fancy, but for the price, very clean & comfortable. The whole family make you feel welcome. As a tip, let the place where you are staying arrange for your taxi service. I almost booked online through booking.com & the price was over twice as much. They had the driver waiting for me after I left Customs with my name. Made it so easy & I didn’t overpay. Depending on your situation, I would definitely book a room with it’s own bath attached. Not bug in sharing or traipsing through the halls at night. There is NO Elevator, and there are 5 flights of stairs. They will help you with the luggage up, but you will need to carry it back down. Breakfast is light, not a big “Americans” breakfast, but adequate to get you through the morning. Coffee was excellent! Wonderful experience! 🤗
We only chose this "hotel" since we had a long layover in Lima and were looking for a bed and shower close to the airport. Unfortunately we barely slept due to how horrible the sheets, pillows, and/or bed smelled. Everything smelled of severe sweat and mold, which was really disgusting. Plus dogs were barking ALL night long, which contributed to zero sleep! Very friendly staff though (however sleep was more important to us than a friendly check-in and check-out).
When we just arrived the gave us a welcoming drinks, they are so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. Everyone working at the hotel really seemed to care about the guest being satisfied. Even the gave us information of nearby restaurants and also arranged our early morning transfer to the airport!
I had a very pleasant stay at Limper; I stayed there the night that I arrived in Lima and then again 2 weeks later before flying home. Their close location to the airport was very much appreciated, especially given the horrendous traffic in Lima! All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. I had a nice breakfast every morning, and the room was clean and comfortable. There is also a nice rooftop terrace which is a very relaxing spot. I would definitely stay at Limper again in the future.
Three friends and I had an incredible experience with Limper B&B and were welcome like family from the time we arrived in Lima to the day we left. To begin, the Limper staff took the time to message me on WhatsApp a few weeks prior to our arrival to clarify on a few details. We decided to let them book transportation from the airport to the hostel which really made things easier on us. Their friend and fellow hostel worker showed up in his personal car and drove us directly to the hostel (there were three of us at this point with lots of baggage so space was limited, but it is a short drive). That night we were checked in quickly and met our friend who had arrived earlier and been hanging out with the hostel staff all day. They had given him recommendations on a few things to do in the neighborhood before helping him settle in for the night. The next morning, the staff cooked a good breakfast and arranged a ride (another hostel worker driving us) into Miraflores (which took about 45minutes). On our return to Lima a week and a half later, we reached out to Limper to see if they would pick us up from the airport and let three of us keep our bags there for the day as another member of our group was staying there that night. They said no problem, and met us with a ride at the airport. When we arrived at the hostel they were excited to see us, gave us refreshments and asked us about our travels in the past week. After settling in, they gave us a few lunch recommendations then went out of their way to drive us to a nearby restaurant, walk into the restaurant with us to make sure we ordered the best food, and message us on WhatsApp to make sure everything was great. We ventured into Miraflores before returning to the hostel that night, collecting our bags, and riding to the airport. Hugs and goodbyes were had by all and we promised to come back and visit soon. Overall, I'd recommend Limper B&B to anyone who is looking to stay in a budget hostel near the airport. The staff was very accomodating and went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable visit. This probably isn't the best location to stay if you are looking to really see Lima, but for late night arrivals or early morning flights, you can't beat the proximity to the airport.
This B and B is near the Lima Airport. Rooms are quaint but comfortable. All rooms are up narrow stairwells, so it can be a little tricky with big or heavy bags. Some rooms don’t have bathrooms so you need to specify. Staff were very good but speaking Spanish is helpful.
We booked this hotel as our flight from Canada arrived at midnight and we had a connecting flight to Cusco at 11am the following day. The staff at Limper were awaiting us at the airport and the hotel with open arms. We were offered a welcome drink upon arrival. The B&B was quiet. The staff spoke English well. The area itself was not the warmest however we didn’t really explore the area and as mentioned - for a layover stay - this is an excellent choice. There was plenty of hot water. The hotel was clean and very comfortable for a short stay.
We stayed at the Limper for one night and, although it's not fancy, wished we could have stayed longer. The staff were hilarious and so genuinely lovely - I really couldn't notice anything bad about the place because we were made to feel so welcome. They took a real pride in their humble establishment, offering a lovely breakfast and encouraging us to use their roof terrace. The en-suite rooms were basic but clean and comfortable, and the WiFi worked well. They arranged an airport pick-up for us, which was a bit difficult to find (not the driver's fault), but made life much easier. The only drawback would be that it's not close to the city centre, but it's a big city so you'd need taxis to get around anyway. We will definitely return the next time we are in Lima!
After a trip to Machu Picchu, we had a connecting flight the next day and wanted a hotel conveniently located close to the airport. Upon booking, we received an email from the hotel offering a taxi service, which we booked. When our plane landed, we waited for about 15 minutes for the taxi driver to arrive and were driven to the hotel which isn't too far away. The staff in the hotel are really lovely. Our receptionist was very friendly. We received a refreshing welcome drink and were shown to our room. Whilst it was an internal room, we didn't mind as we just wanted to have a good night's sleep before our flight in the morning. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was rather small, but we didn't mind at all. I had a really good night's sleep at the Limper. Breakfast had with various options. We were offered eggs, but we had to leave quickly so couldn't. The staff all came out to say goodbye to us, which was really sweet. For those looking for an airport hotel in Lima - I'd definitely recommend the Limper. The only thing I wish we'd managed to get to do when we were there was enjoy the roof terrace - it looks fantastic!
