Nice stop along the way travelling north to Michigan. This is a quiet place to stay. The staff is friendly and courteous. The room was spacious and laid out well. I like that I even had a mini-fridge to store the items in my cooler and 're-charge' my freeze packs. It certainly took care of my needs.
Booked this hotel because we were attending Loud-N-Lima and I am a Choice Hotels Gold Member. While this hotel is dated, it served it's purpose for us. We were even upgraded to a suite at no additional charge and this one had a full size refrigerator and complete kitchen. Would definitely stay here again.
After driving through a blinding downpour, i felt rescued and pampered. The service was welcoming and friendly and the room and beds inviting. My only negatives are the bathroom small & very tight and the breakfast area on second floor with no elevator. However, a better breakfast than most & worth getting there. (They offer room service if stairs a difficulty.) Again breakfast staff exemplary.
Good value for the money. Quite roomy with all the basic comforts, refrigerator, microwave, clean bathroom. Nice breakfast choices. Very nice and friendly staff. Will definitely stay there again if went by there again.
After driving in pouring rain in the dark, we exit I-75 and very shortly arrived at this hotel. The night receptionist was very friendly and helpful, and soon we got settled and rested in our room on the ground floor. They do not have elevators, so if you have problem climbing the stairs, make sure that you ask for a room on the ground floor. The bathroom was clean and nicely done. The room was equipped with microwave oven, refrigerator, and coffee maker, so we can store our food and make coffee or tea.. The thing that we like with Comfort Inn is that they supplied choices of pillows, hard and soft. So we can always pick our preference. Although the hotel was so close to the highway, it was quiet and peaceful at night. After a good night's sleep, the breakfast was waiting, with all breakfast items, bread, donuts, muffins, cereals, etc., complete with sausages, eggs, and of course make your own waffles, with the choice of regular or blueberry. Excellent! Good value for money. Will stay here again. Would give five stars except that we had to go upstairs for our breakfast. Will be a deterrent for people who have problem with stairs.
Spent the night on the way down to see the eclipse. Close to the expressway and the room was acceptable. Carpet needed a vacuum; however, nothing too upsetting. The breakfast in the morning and the staff friendliness standout as best items of the stay.
I stayed at the Comfort Inn in Lima Ohio with my son on a last-minute trip. I had to book it on the day that I left due to a mix up I had. When I got to the hotel there was some confusion but it was due to my mistake. The staff was awesome and the room was nice and clean. The hotel was very quiet and it served its purpose for us. It was a very good stay. I again want to say how great the staff was at the hotel!!!
Public spaces were clean and well kept. Staff was friendly and well informed. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and fresh. The only complaint was there was no elevator. If I booked a first floor room due to a handicap I would not be able to have breakfast because it was set up on the second floor.
Was not very clean. It smelled old. Room (furniture) very Outdated... Could hear people coming in and out. Did not have very much to pick from for breakfast. But I can say the employees( & manager) were very nice & friendly.
Consistency is lacking with Comfort Inns in general and this property in particular. The hotel lacks any pride of brand or pride of ownership so the overall feel borders on run-down. It was generally clean, although the circular staircase railings leading to the breakfast area felt like they'd last been polished with pancake syrup. The room was adequate for a one-night stay. Waffle House, unfortunately, is the only close dining option. One exit south on I-75 are an abundance of hotels, all within walking distance of an equally good assortment of restaurants. Great for truckers with all the parking options, this one I'll pass on next trip to LIma
