Comfort Inn Lima

Consistency is lacking with Comfort Inns in general and this property in particular. The hotel lacks any pride of brand or pride of ownership so the overall feel borders on run-down. It was generally clean, although the circular staircase railings leading to the breakfast area felt like they'd last been polished with pancake syrup. The room was adequate for a one-night stay. Waffle House, unfortunately, is the only close dining option. One exit south on I-75 are an abundance of hotels, all within walking distance of an equally good assortment of restaurants. Great for truckers with all the parking options, this one I'll pass on next trip to LIma

I am usually a fan of Comfort Inns but have learned over time that each one is independently run and takes on the identity of the management team. In this case, I saw more that had me concerned about management than positives. This was not a planned stop for me as I was traveling through with a co-worker who is very brand loyal. He made the advance reservations which turned out not to be any advantage for us at all. Upon arrival we encountered what amounted to chaos at the front desk as they were feverishly trying to place a large group and had not prepared room assignments ahead of time. This led to frustration on behalf of the overwhelmed front desk as well as members of this group that had to wait longer than anticipated for their assignments. Meanwhile, those of us with guaranteed reservations were relegated to watching while this played out. When we finally made to to check-in our process was much smoother and were offered our professional driver discount. However, in the confusion we were given each others room key which we did not know until checkout and received each other's receipts. The hotel is immense which led to a very long walk from the elevator to our rooms. I had to come back for the rental car and drive around to the back of the hotel to ease the unloading of our bags. Rooms were OK and beds comfortable to afford a good night's sleep. However, breakfast in the AM was just as chaotic as the check in process as the room was dominated by the large group that had checked in that night. We decided to "Pass" on breakfast & ended up at the nearby Waffle House which handled a busy morning much better than the Comfort Inn staff. All in all, i don't think I would stay here again and would push on if time and weather permitted. I am giving this property an average rating due to the fact that I have only one experience with them and don't know if this was an aberration or standard operating mode for their staff.

Stopped for the night on the way back from Florida. Huge suite rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast was good and had lots of space compared to all the other comfort Inn's we stayed at on our travels.

Very comfortable and very well priced. Quiet, convenient and courteous staff. Just one quick exit north of all the good dining options - but so well priced - very very worth it! Also as comfortable and clean as a Hampton Inn.

Stopped overnight while on our way north. Everyone was great, especially Dee Saturday morning at breakfast. The room was clean and very quiet. The only reason I downgraded was because the breakfast could have bee a bit better.

Located in a spacious area just off I65 Loads of parking and attractive grass surrounds. Impressive lobby. Large rooms with quality furnishings and attractive decor. Comfortable beds. Lots of room and tables in breakfast area which is located on second floor. Plenty of good restaurants two miles away. Very good experience overall.

We stayed here recently while traveling through the area. It was easy get to, not far off the freeway. Check-in was easy. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Stopped here just passing through the area. Found the hotel in a book that we picked up at the welcome center. Have had a bad stay out of those books before so asked to see a room before we decided to stay. Was pleasantly surprised! The entire room looked like it had just been renovated. Everything was new and clean! Beds were comfortable. Great breakfast with lots of selections, hot and cold items! I would recommend you ask for a even number room. You hear quite a bit of interstate noise in the odd number rooms. Hotel was smoke free and didn't allow pets! Fridge in room (no freezer). No microwave in room. Staff was very nice.

We stayed here for the night passing through to Michigan. The room was fine and you could tell they were trying to keep it up to date. The hotel layout is very strange though. It was easy to get turned around. Also, we have 3 kids with us and the luggage that comes with them...it would have been nice to know that they didn't have an elevator before checking in. I would have requested a 1st floor room.

The room was clean and beds comfortable. All amenities such as coffee , shampoo etc. were all there. Breakfast was good and well presented. Desk staff were quick and friendly. All in all a pleasant stay.
