This was my second visit to Scandic Foresta, and it was just as pleasant as my first. We stayed on the forth floor with a view over the parking lot outside the front of the hotel. The rooms are quite big and has all the stuff you can expect. One thing that I actually only have seen in this hotell is the refillable bottles for soap and body wash in the shower. Very enviramentally friendly!
A nice hotel whit very service minded personal. Good food, and nice view. Just over the briidge from Stockholm city, so close to town, yet so quiet and harmonious. Have stayed here many times and sure I´ll will be back soon.
Some of the staff at the resturant could not speak swedish. The food var quite bad, burned on the surface and raw just below the surface. It took long time to check in in the reception. The hotel is quite expensive.
The restaurant at the top of the hotel towards the south offers fantastic views over Harbour. The conference rooms also offer great views, although some have a somewhat dated fit-out. The lunch buffet was ok. I did not try the alla carte menu, but it looked good.
best hotel in Stockholm hands down. I used to live on this island which overlooks Stockholm. half the price of everything in Stockholm but much larger rooms, much more quiet. staff is super nice and friendly and patient. elevators are very quick at all times of the day. breakfast was amazing. hotel is only 10 minutes away from Strandvagen which is the beginning of the beautiful sites. would be a shame to stay anywhere else.
Those were worst 2 nights. As the hotel was fully booked last 2 days for my stay of 12 days I was to change the room. I was provided with a room on 7th floor with no window and full of spiders. That were worst two nights i spend. I also left my rain jacket at reception which was never found and i was promised for a return but till i called them in after 2 months there was no email/phone call from hotel team. This was least expected, the hotel is good till you end up spending night at 7th floor or till you need any assistance from the new trainee team members. I realised i should not have paid for last two nights as these were sleepless nights for me.
Second time I ran Lidingöloppet and we tried to get closer to the event-site. Location is good the only bad this is that you cannot get on the free bus connection between Ropsten and the event. The hotel itself feels worn-down, the common areas especially. The rooms are good size and clean. The resturant was too small and overcrouded in the morning. The gym was a joke.
We stayed here for 2 nights and three days. The hotel itself is average compare to the hotels i've stayed. The building is old. This needs a renovation because this hotel doesn't have airconditioning, fridge and safety box in the room. But they do have electric fan. The family room is spacious. The bar and restaurant closes at 10pm which is a downside because a person have a limited time to dine or drink and the breakfast have a limited variation and same food everyday... at least those days that we were there. One more i want to point out...they should check, wash thoroughly the beddings, pillows and comforter because something bit my aunt on her face while sleeping. The cleaner should check all the toilet article and the floor in the restroom are so cold, so floor towels should be provided everyday. But overall, this hotel is OK, near the bus station and mini sentrum in Lidingö.
average place, youn, inexperienced staff, good location. personnel had different answers on basic questions like start of breakafast, nearby commutting connections, ironing services etc. attitude of people was good but skills were not there yet on weekend staff
Room was good and view from window was excellent but bed quality was too bed. No slippers and no wiper in bathroom. Pillows were discomfort we used duvet as pillow whole night. I really say it is not a good stay with that high price I paid.
