La Quinta Inn Lexington

Easy to find and close to the airport Staff were incredibly nice and helpful Secured doors not working, so a bit of a walk to the room Hallway seems damp and dirty and a little dark Thought I heard a beeping of a low carbon monoxide or smoke detector every time I walked by one room

Room was adjacent to service area which was noisy at 11P. Breakfast area needed monitoring for supplies and cleanliness.

Room clean, bed comfortable, breakfast was passable--but lots of carbs, light on protein

I reserved and paid extra for a king room. The first two rooms were overly smoky. The third room had two doubles, it was musty smelling. No other rooms were available. The hotel does provide breakfast in the morning with waffles, oatmeal, cereal, bagels and fruit. The breakfast was good.

As with all LaQuintas I have stayed at the room was clean and comfortable. The ambiance of the building needs cleaning up, i suppose the run down appearance is reflected in the price. There is no computer available to guests. There is a Cracker barrel close by. For an overniter it was adequate.

The bathtub wouldn't drain properly and the telephone didn't work. Paint on the walls were chipped and chairs were stained. There should be more outlets at the desk.

After a night of dogs barking and getting little sleep, they told us that they are dog friendly. Since I paid thru you we got no refund either. If you have a dog, great but if you want to rest go some where else.

Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean. Great location for going to UK.

We were in Lexington for a tour of thoroughbred farms in the bluegrass country and a visit to the Kentucky Horse Park. The La Quinta was ideally located to the meeting place for the bluegrass country tour (3 minutes away) AND for the Kentucky Horse Park, which is only 8-10 minutes drive away. There is also a good family restaurant just across the street as well as a gas station. The room was comfortable and clean, and the complimentary breakfast was substantial and tasty.

Very nice especially for price. Room was very clean and staff was wonderful!

The room was clean and comfortable. Just what I needed after busy days with my college student.

We have stayed here in the past and it was much cleaner. While the sheets appeared clean, the duvet had visible stains/spots. The bathroom door above and below the handle was very dirty and the back of the door also had something sprayed/splattered all over it that looked suspiciously like blood. We arrived very late and very tired. I did not ask to be moved which is my own fault, however for the price I paid the room should have been clean. The staff was nice.

This hotel was just fine. A little outdated, but clean and the few people I dealt with on the staff were very friendly and helpful.

close to Horsepark, so very convenient short drive

The girls at the front desk were extremely sweet! Hard to find good service these days, but not there!

Very nice. I always like to stay at La Quintas when possible. I know what to expect so I don't get surprises by not knowing. However there was cigarette smell in the hallway during my first night there. Disturbing since I was under the impression that that was a non smoking area. The following night I didn't smell it. But still it didn't sit well with me. But overall I enjoy staying there. Have a meeting in St Louis in July and hope to book thru them at that time.

OK but mold was in the bathroom making a bit less desirable.

I've stayed in over 30 LGs in 6 years. This was 2nd stay here. Both times room maint. was awful. Housekeeping, mantenance, management and LQ should be embarrassed to imply rooms were OK to rent. I returned there only because my host booked me there. Around top of tub there was OBVIOUS mildew. The tub spout had a 3/4 inch gap between it and wall, leaving plenty of room for "crittters" to enter. The "chrome" drain was black (all chrome fittings were in sad shape). Inside of room door and and frame was filthy with grime and old hand prints. Safety lock had only one screw. Behind dresser and night stand were pieces of paper, pencils no telling what else. Grill on room AC was broken, hung at angle, and was not secure. With such lack of attention to obvious, I had to wonder about shortcuts taken in areas of linen, toilet seats, etc. Rooms need comlete remodel ...and housekeeping and maintenance need to know what "housekeeping" and "maintenance" mean ...or take the name "LG" away from this place.

We met up with family to explore Kentucky and go to the Festival of the Bluegrass. La Quinta was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. Staff was friendly and quick to fix anything that wasn't quite right. Breakfast was fresh and filling - especially the waffles!

nice room, comfortable bed. Breakfast is OK. I meant to select a place with a fitness center. This La Quinta did not have one.
