I had booked a room for 5 people, but when I arrived they said they don't have pull-out couches. We had to get a rolling bed, which was all right I guess, but not what I paid for. Pool was quite small, but breakfast was pretty good. Overall it was decent

The shower did not work. Still payed full price. Should not have to check to see if it worked

Clean rooms, friendly staff, economically friendly... with a little bit of an orbucks additional the hotel was practically very affordable with free parking, free wifi, and free breakfast. They even had a pool, warm fresh cookies served at the front desk, and fresh coffee.

We stay at this hotel every year while on the Bourbon Trail. This year, some things seemed to be lacking. When we checked in the key card machine wasn’t working. Easy fix, willing to forgive that until all the other issues happened. For the first time ever, we were put on the bottom floor, which was nice cause we didn’t have to carry all our luggage up a flight of stairs. Between the guests and staff, it was so loud in our room we had a hard time sleeping/staying asleep. There was also a chime of some sort of the front desk that randomly went off and could hear from our room. After checkin we noticed we had water leaking on the floor from the toilet. On our way out for dinner we reported the problem. When we arrived back they told us the seal was cracked and they replaced the caulk around the toilet. Not a plumber, but I don’t think that is going to fix the leak? It’s still leaking, you just put a bandaid over it. Lastly, our first morning, fire alarms went off. My husband went out to check the situation. Someone burnt breakfast. Lobby and hallway smelled of burnt food. Thankfully we were already up. Had we still been sleeping, as many others were, I would have been mad. We really do like this hotel and we’ll give it another try....I just hope these things aren’t a sign as to what’s to come....

Clean, comfortable, would recommend, great breakfast, warm pool, updated,

the price was great. The rooms are very clean. I would stay there again

The hotel itself seemed clean, the staff was excellent, and the price reasonable. However, the first night our room seemed cool upon entering but became 76 degrees by morning. We gave it the benefit of the doubt and stayed a second night. Unfortunately, it was 79 degrees all that night, so we switched rooms. In the new room, the smoke alarm battery was beeping (needed changing) when we entered it. We were gone all day and it was still beeping when we came back after dinner that night. Staff "fixed" it, but it started beeping again at 4:30 a.m. in the middle of the third night! The night desk person was too short to reach it even on a ladder, so we had to climb the ladder to fix it ourselves. Needless to say we did not want to stay there our fourth night. Hotel staff was very nice and did not penalize us for leaving a day early and only charged us for 2 out of the 3 nights we did stay. But it still didn't offset the physical unpleasantness of the experiences with the rooms. For that reason, we would not recommend the hotel to anyone else.

We notified the front desk our TV wasn't working. We even tried resetting he cable box just to find out there was't one. And we were told there wasn't anything that could be done about it, but to talk to the manager next morning and maybe he would discount us. We told someone but the most he did was shake his head that it happened. What a crock. It'll do for sleeping but I hope you like sitting in silence all night SMH.

Very friendly staff Smells really clean Looks very modern

Desk clerk was very friendly and helpful both at check in and check out. The room was nice and clean and we had the extra pillows that I requested. The air in the room was a little "humid" to me. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was decent, waffles, cereal, biscuits, eggs and gravy but no meats. Hotel very convenient to the interstate and local attractions.

Very nice staff, Very nice hotel, very clean inside and out. The pool is too small. If a few people are in it, it feels crowded. The parking lot is too small and the back section was poorly lit. Avoid Room 205: Top off the stairs right above the lobby, so you get all of the lobby noise, and the noise of everyone stomping up and down the wooden stairs and yelling up and down the hallway. Choose a room away from the noise areas, because most people don't know how to be quiet, even if you display the 'Quiet Please' door hanger. Hotel looks to recently renovated and is very modern, clean, and nice, including the rooms, except the bed was way too firm. Excellent staff.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel and a very good price through an internet site. The staff were helpful to us in reserving additional nights and they matched the internet pricing.

Beautiful room, beds were very comfortable. Room was very clean!

Great place , all the staff was awesome, great people and amazing facility.

the best in Lexington area at this price. highly recommended

We were quite impressed with the hotel and room. We stayed there for under $50 and we weren't sure what to expect for that price. Hotel was updated, rooms were clean, and the staff was super friendly!!

1. Clean, convenient, inviting lobby 2. Friendly and knowledgeable staff 3. Spacious and well-equipped rooms 4. Good Wi-Fi and amenities 5. Convenient parking and location 6. Lackluster breakfast and fitness center 7. Excellent value for the price, switched to this hotel after horrible experience at another branded hotel, wish would have booked entire stay at this hotel

the clerk was nice enough to find me a room on the first floor, i was a little taken back, because the place had no elevator. but she found me a room , my friend noticed her bed had not been changed the next evening , they just made up the bed an there was brown spots on the sheets of her bed, as if someone had chocolate on their hands (they were'nt there before) , so she called the front desk, an the male clerk informed her that there was no one to change her bed, he offered to bring her sheets,, but he never did, Later when i went to get ice, he was no longer there, an my friend was fast asleep in my bed, so i did'nt complain. The bathroom was spotless, an the room was warm,,, im just glad that we had two beds in our room.

We needed a place for the night. Rooms were very comfortable. Free breakfast next morning was outstanding (real eggs!). Staff at front desk was very friendly.

Guesthouse Inn is a nice small hotel that is central to many locations in Lexington. The area is safe and there is easy on/off I-75 access. The hotel is only two stories and is an older building. It also appears that they did not have an elevator to the second floor which could be problematic for certain patrons - so ask for a first floor room if this is a problem. This establishment has been recently refurbished and redecorated. The decor pays homage to the University of Kentucky with its blue and white theme as well as to the horse farms that make Lexington so famous. The paintings of horses that dot the facility are stunning. The staff were polite, the room was clean, the continental breakfast was adequate, the pool is small but sufficient. If you are wanting and upscale 5-star with gourmet breakfast - then this isn't the place for you. If want a comfortable clean room, a hot shower, and a decent breakfast then you should give it a try. We had a very pleasant experience. If you are staying multiple days, there aren't many dining options at this particular exit, but one exit down and a <5 minute drive there are more than you could ever need.
