Older hotel with a Friendly staff & great breakfast.

Hotel doesn't keep up on their maintenance of facilities

We were looking for an inexpensive hotel for one night while traveling to Florida. This hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was adiquate and we were able to get on the road early. This hotel was exactly what we needed.

I stayed at the Baymont Inn while in town for business. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The condition of the room was sub-par- there were several cracks in the walls and chipped drywall/paint/tiles in the bathroom. The room was very dry, and had a dusty feeling on the sheets (that could be due to bleach). I always check for bedbugs in hotels- glad to say no sign of the critters here! (I do this even at 5 star hotels- you can never be too sure). It was fine to stay in for the night, just nothing fancy. Very good price!

I usually don't leave feedback and have never left bad reviews. However, this hotel was disappointing. The gentleman checking me in was great, very friendly and helpful. However the hotel was less than good. The reason I choose this hotel was for the hot tub, which of course did not heat up. It was very cold. There were different things floating in the pool as well but at least the water was partially warm in the pool. But we had to dry off on our own as there were no towels (I asked at the front desk and was told that he'd check housekeeping but that there were no towels left. I had looked at the reviews before booking this hotel and had seen that there were renovations happening months ago so figured that they would be done by now, but there were not, Everything was being rebuilt, hopefully it will be better once that it done. We got ice form the ice machine, which only had a few pieces of ice left in it, then when we got back to our room we noticed that the Ice had black things in it, so we had no ice. The vending machine was out of most pop so we had nothing to drink unless we drank warm water from the tap. The room was clean but there were ants crawling all over the window. There wasn't even a holder for the toilet paper, it was just sitting on the back of the toilet. Also the door to the outside where the steps were was propped open and I felt very unsafe. The breakfast was not much either. I like to give everything a fair chance but I will not be re-visiting this hotel

The hotel was not clean. Our room smelled like cigarettes. They moved us to a room with a hot tub but the jets were broken. I will say the staff was very kind and helpful, as much as they could be such conditions.

Conservation of Energy meets truly dingy. Hall lighting looked like dusk at the City Morgue. My guest room contained a light switch at entrance but no connection to any light fixture in the room. Used the miniature flash light on my car key chain to find the nearest light source in the bathroom. All lights in room were dim. Depressing for sure.

Bed was clean, but the balance of the hotel was worn down. Hallway lights flickering Smoke smell in hallways Worn toilet seats Broken vents on heat/ac unit Cable box strapped over flat screen.

Comfortable bed. The whole hotel smelled vaguely of smoke, my room not so vaguely Dark hallways with some flickering/out lights. Generally shady clientele. A drunk guy trying to get in my room at 2:20 AM. He probably staggered over from the nearby Hustler club. Running water in the next room made a lot of noise, as did the fan in my bathroom. Some peeling paint – hotel looks beat up. Hot breakfast served from 6-9 – I showed up at 7:30 - there were a couple of spoonfuls of eggs, 2.5 pieces of sausage, no yogurt, etc. Just waffles, bagels, and bread to toast, cereal. Manager apologized. I heard they didn't get their food delivery the day before. Get a more reliable supplier. This place needs to try harder and invest some money.

The hotel was musty, but clean enough. The breakfast was nice. The fitness room was spares. Low water pressure in the shower. It is a fine place for an overnight stopover while traveling.

The hotel floor smelled of chlorine but we stayed on second so that wasn't too bad. However we was not informed we would be staying in a conjoining room. I had trouble sleeping not knowing who was beside of us. The room was well cleaned though and equipped with plenty of supplies. I would stay here again, as long as we could get a private room.

We booked this hotel despite its sketchy reviews because the weekend was so busy in Lexington and there just weren't any other affordable rooms available. We got--barely--what we paid for. The pool was clean, but the deck needed mopping. The beds were clean and fairly comfortable, but the floors needed a lot of attention. The bathroom had been surface cleaned, so it wasn't gross, but it needed a deep cleaning.

Clean rooms, friendly staff atmosphere pleasant overall good stay for the money and a one night stay

It was a great experience considering the price that was paid....BARGAIN

The hotel was ok for the price... There was some remodeling or construction going on. Still plenty of updating that could be done. The worst part was the horrible marijuina smell that kept lingering into my room!!!

We stayed in the newly redone room? They slapped up paint on the walls and put in new carpet. the furniture was old and the bathroom vanity was old. the coffee pot did not work and the hair dryer did not work. The breakfast offered by the hotel was ok, but hot water for making tea was always gone. Used hotel computer to confirm and print out return flight boarding pass and the printer had no ink and the hotel had no extra ink cartridge available. Staff did offer the use of the computer and printer behind the desk. The staff was excellent.

The staff were great. The room was clean. The pool and hot tub area were clean and well kept. It is easy access to all of Lexington. The only problem we encountered was a guest smoking in the non-smoking facility. Staff did everything they could but the smoker ignored all requests to stop.

I love staying in this area. This was our first stay here. The person at the desk when we checked in wasn't very pleasant. Our Non-smoking room turned out to reek of smoke. I did enjoy the pool time with my son.

Hotel is under construction on the first floor, so the hallways were a bit messy, but it was a clean room and a comfortable stay. The staff was very nice and helpful with things to do in the area. I would refer a friend

Needed a room while traveling across country. The staff was really nice. Average room, but clean and perfect for a one night stay. It's right off the highway making it easy to find.
