booked online and after a long day of driving it was perfect. Clean, basic and affordable. We were very satisfied

Desk staff helpful. Gave us breakfast earlier than it is normally served. Good beds, clean linens , nice breakfast. Would stay there again.

Hotel needs lots and lots and lots of TLC!!!!!! :(

this hotel is ok. Nothing exciting. Needs to upgrade their bedding.

Alright, it ls old, but it was about price on this stay.

Good service at check in. Motel is older, but decently kept. Lots of tile and looking older. Some arborite pulling off too; as well as on Mayor Magrath being a busy street, it was a bit noisy early in the evening. Nice stay, everything clean and neat. Condsidering the price, I felt it was still good value, and would stay there again.

Was not clean - pillows were disgusting. Non-smoking room which smelled like old stale smoke. Towels at Motel 6 are luxurious compared to these. Breakfast was dismal.

We checked into the hotel late at night after a long day of driving and found that the room was pleasantly spacious and reasonably clean. It was nice that the hotel accepts pets for only $7 extra. Sadly the wireless internet was not working at this hotel at this time. For internet use I had to use the public computer which they had. Overall this stay was reasonable and appropriate for a no frills hotel stay which is what I was looking for.

Everything was great at the Ho Jo !!! Location, Price,Customer Service !!!

coffee maker didn't work, mugs were stained, dusty, flies on window sil, carpet had shoe tracks. stuffy

This hotel is in a very convenient location, with a beautiful park & Japanese Garden just across the street, and small strip malls with decent eats & sundries within walking distance. The "large windows " were a problem , because they were at walkway level, so everyone could see anything in the room if the drapes were open.

very friendly and helpful staff. helped me out alot.nice quiet and clean room.

The room had a mini-fridge and microwave and coffeemaker. It was a basic room, no frills, but just fine. Don't count on breakfast unless you like toast and coffee. There was some basic cereal and bananas also. It was so crowded, I didn't even bother. It was pretty quiet and low key except when people started leaving in the morning. For the price, it was just fine though.

Howard Johnsons was very comfortable. Nice air conditioning on a hot day. Pool was out of service though.

The swimming pool, which I had looked forward to using after a long journey, was inoperable. In fact, it had been an amenity that had swayed my choice for accomodation. Very disappointing. Good selection for breakfast. Difficult to find the corresponding road where the motel exists. Easy to drive by (several times) until realizing it is on a service road beside the main drag. The room was remarkably spacious. Huge desk and executive boardroom swivel chair. Ideal for business. Quiet room and comfortable bed. Next door to a Mexican restaurant that serves the largest burritos on the planet. The room was clean and inviting. The tv worked and a small fridge keeps your libations chilled. Shampoo etc. provided as well as a hairdryer. Water taps for bathtub turn the opposite direction for hot and cold. Could be dicey for a weary traveller who needs a shower. Not really family oriented.

Arrived at hotel for July long weekend. Pool was not in operation. one of my three days we had to ask three times for clean towels and ended up going down at 7 pm to ask for them personally and receptionist had to get them from an unoccupied room. Holes in wall. Beds were very hard and the cleaniness was not the best. A good gathering of dirt and dust between headboard and mattress which I noticed because I had to make my bed the third night. My relatives who left the day before us and also stayed in the hotel were called at 10 am to advise them that check out was 11 am. Very rude.
