## Emplacement
Tourist town of the Landes in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, Léon is located 6 km from the ocean, 30 minutes from Bayonne and 50 minutes by car from Biarritz. On its lake, you will practice canoeing, paddling or fishing. Lake Leon is an ideal setting for young children with its sandy beach. You will discover the nature reserve that extends to Moliets by sailing on the Courant d'Huchet in a boat guided by boaters. The river of the Palue, which feeds the lake of Léon, is also very appreciated for guided or unguided walks in canoe kayak with some small eddies, adrenaline rigolote guaranteed solo, couple, families or friends!
In summer, the market with Landes products is held every day on the village square, a 10-minute walk from the villa. Léon is a lively city with merchants open year-round such as the fishmonger, bakeries, butchers, wine cellar, a cinema and its cultural center!

Even today, Léon is appreciated for its preserved landscape, its numerous leisure activities, as well as for its respect of the Landes traditions, both from a sporting and gastronomic point of view. The nearest beach is only 6 kilometers away and it is the beautiful authentic beach of "la Lette Blanche" in the town of Vielle-Saint-Girons, but you also have the beaches of Moliets, at a similar distance, large and beautiful fine sandy beach and dune areas, typical of the Landes.
The famous Vélodysée, the great cycle path that crosses France from Nantes to Hendaye passes not far from here, 10 minutes away and allows you to make beautiful walks through pine forests, without difficulties.
