I liked the location...in the heart of restaurants and retail stores. It was not filthy but could have been much cleaner. The elevator needed cleaning. The sheets were clean but not a crisp clean. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a special occasion but for a place to lay your head while traveling, it sufficed Pillows were lumpy. Breakfast wasn’t much. However, the price was reasonable.
back gate close at 7pm open at 8 am can not use the back door to get to the parking lot my room use at the end . BIG FIRE HAZARD!!!!!!!!!
I was staying ro escape hurricane Dorian with my 2 dogs. I eased Bennett told about the pet fee. Reservations through Orbitz. Called 2x to discuss my stay and remind them about my pets. Most hotels waived pet fees during a hurricane. I wasn't informed till at the front desk checking in. I was placed on the 3rd floor next to 5 young men in a room that had an adjoining door. I went to the room to check it out before bringing my pets and my things. It was quite noisy and I just didn't feel comfortable. I do not think I will stay any of the 3 nights and I will be requesting the pet fee be returned. This is not my idea of seeking comfort and safety in an impending major storm.
The breakfast is great and everyone that works there is really nice!! It's a very family friendly hotel and very busy!! They have also done a lot of upgrades to the property!
