the hotel was nice but the neighbors were very noisy. this didn't allow us to get much sleep.

The staff was great. The only thing that was hard but can’t be changed without ruining the historical integrity, no elevator. Carry luggage up 3 flights at altitude of 10k left us breathless

Old, quirky, creaky, period furnishings; very friendly staff!

It's Leadville. Don't expect luxury. Friendly staff and you are in town with a close walk to food and shops.

Great customer service, amazing blazing stargazing history, will definitely return.

This was a uniquely historic hotel with a variety of antiques which is centrally located in Leadville. If you are looking for a historic experience without all the modern amenities this is a very nice place to stay.

Cool, funky vintage hotel. Continuous operation since 1876. Comfortable bed, quiet.

It was located in the heart of Leadville and easy walking distance to get around the town

Historic hotel. Unique, with many museum quality pieces available for sale on the first floor. The staff is incredibly friendly and nice.

Amazing staff. Amazing hotel. The only thing wrong was that because it was so full of amazing antiques it made it extremely musty and gave me a huge breathing problem while in the room . And we weren’t warned that there was no elevators! I would definitely recommend this hotel as a visiting stop to everyone I know but not to sleep there.

We enjoyed the history of the Delaware Hotel and the history of Leadville, CO.

Old time hotel full of vintage pieces. Periodic Brewery is across the street. Good beer and bar food.

Love the area, hotel very interesting as a piece of history. The steps a bit awkward especially for older / unbalanced people.

Quaint old hotel. Personnel are attentive and the continental breakfast was nice. Only problem faced was that the internet was down for our whole stay. Not only lost connection on phones but also no tv.

History oozes from every pore of this hotel, from its lobby to its room decor to its hall cabinets full of artifacts. Still, beds, toilet/shower facilities and the like in the rooms are usable and comfortable. As far as convenience is concerned, the hotel sits on a busy corner right in the heart of Leadville, convenient to shopping, restaurants, and historical sites - but the surroundings are not noisy or raucous. There is abundant hotel-only parking a block away. At the same time, there is wonderful scenery and outdoor recreation all around. One has to be into historical hotels to appreciate all this, so if you are used to the decor of a typical modern hotel, you might want to take a close look at pictures on the hotel website before committing.
