Pros: clean, the sheets and bedding were comfortable. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Close by to our destination. Had a pool (but we didn't use it). Free wifi, lot of tv channels. Continental breakfast. Reasonable price. Cons: The building is older and the neighborhood fair. Continental breakfast only till 9am ( most hotels have it at 10:30 or 11am). The curtains were not light proof like other hotels I stayed in. My biggest complaint was that the cold water never really got cold unless it wasn't used for a while and it tasted so-so.

If all you want is a clean room and a comfortable bed, then this has it. We had a king size room next to the elevator - which may be why our room was incredibly small. There was not even room to put our suitcase down. The only place where there was room to put the ironing board was in the bathroom. None of the lamps or clock were plugged in. The room could use some updates - the wall is peeling above the shower, the caulking is largely visible around the bathroom counter, the curtain rod is a cheap rod and it's difficult to open or close the curtains at all. The curtains are also pretty see through. There were no tissues in the tissue holder in the counter. The door to our room looked like someone had tried breaking in at some point as the wood was broken away near the handle. Another person in our group also had a king size room that was a normal size room. The light in the hall entry was burned out so she had to find her way in the dark to get to a lamp. But the most upsetting thing was that one evening we returned to her room and the door was left open at least 6 inches (presumably by housekeeping). It was open wide enough we could see it from down the hall. Thankfully all of her belongings looked to still be there. She went to speak with the front desk and had to wait quite a while for someone to show up at the desk (with others who had been waiting to check out - not uncommon to have to wait like this here). No apologies were offered by the front desk.

The Baymont is in Lawrenceburg, IN, on the Ohio River. It has a quaint historial district where Indiana railroading has early history. A quiet town and a nice place to visit. It also has nearby access to the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter for people interested in Biblical history

The room was ready for our arrival and is the closest hotel to perfect north. The one odd thing that did happen was one morning we went to get the free breakfast at 8:45 and they said breakfast is closing at 9:00 and we aren't putting out anymore food. Most everything was gone so we went out to breakfast- never had that happen before ~

We needed a place to sleep. The beds were soft and clean. The staff very nice.

The front desk staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a little overstated, not much selection and not a lot of anything, but good for the price.

A great alternative to paying casino hotel prices and only a mile away. And yes it has black out curtains in the rooms. The casino hotel rooms do not.

Holiday Inn Express is nicer. Stayed here only 2 nights. Gets loud at night. Lots of road noise

Nice place to stay. IT was clean and in a good location

the hotel was very nice and comfortable ,i would recomend this to anyone who wants a nice clean night to stay

We had great experience with this hotel. Hot breakfast is included and you have a lot of choices like bacon, eggs, waffles, donuts, and fresh apples, oranges, bananas etc. The room is clean with microwave and refrigerator. Although all rooms are supposed to be smoke free but I guess some guests did not follow the rule. There is some smoke smell in our room becase they are fully booked we managed to live with it

Spent the night because of close location to the casino. Very good value for the money, and breakfast was great!

Room was clean. Staff friendly and helpful.food ok

no lids for coffee at breakfast bar -- "oh, I forgot to get them" . . . and never did.

Very happy with this hotel. Great pool, nice décor, and clean. Will be back!

They had problems with one of the in-house computers near the front desk. The clerk had no idea how to repair. I found the computer under the desk top and rebooted, then had to reload windows. Then worked fine. Other guests had complained that the wireless needed a password. However we had no problems, there were about 6 options on a wireless connection and the first one needed a password. Breakfast was good! Had apples, oranges, and bananas.

We reserved this as an overnight because of the location to the Creation Museum that we were visiting. It was literally 5 min. That was awesome. The indoor pool was a great temperature and my family of four enjoyed it! Rooms and hotel were very clean as well! Breakfast was great! Would come again for sure if in the area!

The up side is that we had a great rate. On the down side, right next to our room were 2 moms and 10 young teen girls. They were pretty wild and noisy. The desk clerk could not have been nicer the next AM She apologized repeatedly and would have given us a lesser rate on our room - but we already had it. The hotel was very nice for our purposes as we were just passing thru.

The rooms were clean and the staff was nice. We enjoyed our short stay. It was nice to have a jacuzzi tub in the room, but it really didn't have jets in good areas. The hotel was very convenient, easy to get to, and close to everything. If we ever head back that way we will likely stay there again.

The hotel, for our trip to the nearby casino/club, was in a good location and the staff were wonderful. The amenities are nothing extraordinary, but for the price, and convenience -- the clean rooms, free shuttle and breakfast -- were just what we were after. The desk staff were all helpful and very friendly. This is a regular trip for us, so this place is certainly on our budget-friendly "keeper" list.
