We wanted to stay somewhere close to Mass St, and we decided to give this hotel a try. It was a little hard to find the hotel initially since we arrived after dark, but upon arrival we were glad to see a well-lit and modern lobby. The staff were very welcoming, and the rooms were nice and large! The beds were comfortable, and the continental breakfast was much better than we expected. Far more than some plain pastries and fruit. We would definitely stay there again!

Upvotes: Room was comfortable with lots of space. Easy walking distance to all Mass Ave locations and events. Plenty of convenient paring at hotel. Downvotes: Room too hot. Temperature difficult to control. Noise from adjoining rooms (showers, etc.) FOX News on in lobby during breakfast. Needs more utensils in room

Great location for Mass Street. Very nice breakfast buffet. Rooms were spacious. Mattress could use replacement. Passing train noise can be loud if room is near tracks.
Our stay was just what we needed after a long day of non stop youth basketball games. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful; the hotel was a breath of fresh air; and our room was a perfect fit for our family size and needs. Our children were delighted when we entered the hotel. They thought it was the best hotel they had ever stayed in. And lastly, breakfast was satisfying for everyone. Thank you, Springhill Suites for a wonderful stay!
We picked this hotel for proximity to KU/Downtown Lawrence. It was a very good value. Great location, easy parking. Rooms were very good size. Beds and pillows very comfortable. My only complaint was that shampoo was not sufficient for four people and we were not given any lotion. Breakfast was very good
