Booked a two bedroom cottage

The day of our arrival we were informed we had a Inner city upstairs apartment. The apartment was right on a intersection lots of cars revering and hooning all night. The apartment was good except for all the noise inside and out side

Good stay - but a bit noisy

We enjoyed our stay and the location was nice and central. One word of caution around noise. Each morning the council uses its blowers on the footpath outside the bedroom - at 6:30am. We were generally up anyway but I expect this would not be a welcome wake up for some holiday makers. The main bed probably could use a revamp too as it creaks each time you roll over.

This was an amazing spot and so close to so much. Everything you need was 5 mins away or less. Probably not ideal with toddlers as there is neighbours downstairs.

Great location in Launceston

Book in after 3 pm is unreasonable , discuss with TAG and negotiate this . Don’t be put off by both entrances as the apartment is roomy and comfortable . The local boy racers do love the lights and corner , shut the double glazed door and flick on aircon. Great cafes on street below and walking distance to everything .

Character property in ideal location

This was a great property with spacious rooms, extremely well supplied kitchen and pantry and lovely features to enhance our stay. The character added great charm, e.g. fireplaces, art and old style building features. There were two things that put a slight dampener on the stay: the ventilation was not very good in the bedrooms, which required us to keep the balcony doors open overnight for fresh air; this meant we could hear the very loud traffic noise late at night of hoons driving circuits of the city right past the apartment. In cooler weather it would not be an issue. On the positive side, we walked easily to everything in the CBD and there are good cafes and restaurants very close by. The owners were fantastic when we had an accident in the apartment and we appreciated their responsiveness.
