Nothing poolnout of service and place was in a very homeless populated community

Loved the retro look.of the rooms. We were in a newly refurbished block and it was lovely! Comfortable bed, clean room and smiling great dtaff.

The property is 3 different buildings, and the building I was in was run down, smelled pretty awful (rusty, dusty, and animal-y), didn’t have cold running water, no ice machine, and the air conditioning sounded like it was a chainsaw. Reading the reviews, I expected it to be a better experience. Next time, I think I’ll stay in a chain and shell out a couple extra bucks. Also, the resort fee was supposed to include pool access but the pool looks like it hasn’t been open for a while.

For needing just a place to sleep its not bad. The rooms are small but not bad.

Room was nice just way to bright in room and to much of a gap under door

Perfectly adequate for a quick night in Vegas if you don’t require anything fancy. Room was clean, staff was very friendly, shower was hot, bed was comfy. What more do you need? This isn’t a resort - if you go in thinking it’s going to be fancy, that is the only way you’ll be disappointed As far as I can tell.

Small and basic hotel next to Fremont street. Location is good but the room is dusty. Other than the cleanliness the hotel is totally worth the price. Front desk worker is very nice

You get what you pay for. They are currently under rennovation and you have to check in next door. I was never told that when I called to let them know I'd be a late check in. Ended up staying in building across the steeet. Walls are thin and area is not the safest.

Motel is actually being renovated so they had us stay across the street. It was ok for the price.

The value for the money is exceptional. Especially if you consider the location to all downtown activities, there is not a better choice.

The room was clean but the bathroom was in a bad condition with a bad smell and rust on the sink. The TV only had one post.

Once again I had a great stay at The Downtowner Motel. The staff was beyond helpful, friendly and accommodating. The rooms are fresh and clean. Is it a 5 star on the strip hotel? No, if you are expecting that go elsewhere (and pay stupid high rates). This is a great place when you are on a budget and want comfort without the cost. It is conveniently located within walking distance from the Fremont Strip and a short cab ride to the main Vegas strip

Good points - Nice staff. Comfortable bed. Fluffy Towels. Negative points - TV didn't work when we got there. Ice machine was broken. Toilet ran constantly. Biggest negative was the window A/C unit. It was so loud I couldn't sleep.

Totally unhelpful customer service. Check-in process assumed I did not value my personal privacy. The staff's attitude was that my issues where my problem. Room was in a house converted into a 4 room hotel. Broken stair treads. Lousy pillows and iffy beads. No chair in the room. While I think the neighborhood was safe, if I was a woman, I would be concerned. Dark streets, Six foot iron fences with gates across the driveways and iron bars on houses in the neighborhood.

The Television did not work during my entire stay. The toilet was not flushing well but they did fixed that. The room was not comfortable. No iron. I book a room for two beds and I got 1 bed. Halllway smell Saturday like septic tank.

Nice hotel in old town, good value, will come again.

Thank you Jackie for your feedback. True we are in an up and coming area, but rest assured that we have very little issue from those less fortunate. Our pool should be up and running in the next couple of weeks, and I hope you will give us another try next time you are in the area. Please reach out to me if you would like to stay again. Thank you, John Y-GM
