La Quinta Inn & Suites Las Vegas Tropicana

2.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

I was attending an event at the Orleans Hotel and Casino. This La Quinta is about a half-mile up the road. I'm so glad I chose to stay there! With all of the inflated Vegas prices, a free breakfast, coffee in the room, and freshly-baked cookies available at the front desk are welcome bonuses. Staff is polite and helpful. AC is frosty cold if you want it to be. And I wanted it to be. 105+ degrees every day I was there.

Not fancy but clean, convenient and comfortable. We often need a place to spend overnight while traveling through Las Vegas. The La Quinta on Tropicana is perfect for us. There is a good breakfast that opens at 6 am. Our only complaint is a common one these days: lights are too dim to read by! We want good reading light by the bed and on the desk. We stay often.

Really clean and friendly staff not so far from the strip

La Quinta Inn is about a mile from the Vegas strip, so it's great for travelers who want to be close to the strip but what to save a little money and not be right in the center of the noise and action. This hotel is also pet friendly for dogs of all sizes, which is why we chose it (we have a 75lbs dog and the Strip hotels all have a weight limit of 50lbs.). The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and responsive. I would stay here again!

It was a good place and glad my had a good time too

This hotel was very welcoming. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed the breakfast everyday! Staff was very helpful and courteous. This hotel is 10 - 15 minutes (walking ) from the strip. I will recommend this hotel as we were very comfortable staying here.

Though its located a bit far from the main strip, its a good choice if you are booking late and looking for something which is not very expensive.

I consider quality inn a very average hotel. There are no slot machines, no poker tables found here. But that is what I liked about this hotel. I wanted a peaceful, quiet and normal hotel where I can sleep and get some rest. The weight room needs improvement. The weight room is lacking bar bells and kettle balls. Overall, if you want a hotel without the glitz and glamour of las vegas, this is the hotel for you.

I completed some training and the price for this hotel was good. It was quick and easy to get in and out of versus one of the major hotels. The area was a little seedy. Not where I would want to eat dinner but the rooms were clean and comfortable. We did hear police sirens serveral times during the night. The pool looked nice but we didn't have time to enjoy.

It was about what I expected - cheap, close to the LV strip. Non-smoking room still smelled like smoke. Old and broken furniture. Thin walls and ceiling.

My trip was good. The staff was great.
