The idea that Clint Eastwood stayed here is the big hype. But the hotel is average. Not 5 star but nice overall.

The owners are very nice and welcoming. This is an older property with clean rooms and a decent location. They take pets for an extra $15 cash which is a nice perk. The rates are reasonable. We've stayed before passing through. They don't run the heat in rooms until occupied and this visit our room was unbearably cold even after 4 hours of running the heat on high. We had to go to bed wearing long underwear and fleece jackets. I am usually the type to immediately turn the air to 65 so when I say it was cold, it was really cold. It was very unpleasant and was akin to sleeping outside in a tent. I don't know if I'd come again in December.

The purpose of my overnight stay was for a long distance race the next morning, so I was looking for basic accommodations and affordability. For the price, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The owners are very friendly and service was excellent.

Great location near the National Park. Cannot ask more for its low price.

The owner and his wife were extremely nice! They walked my students and I to each of our rooms. Then, they brought up some chips & salsa after we settled in. That was the nicest gesture I have seen. BTW, they have the world's largest chili!

Hotel staff was excellent. Room was clean -- excellent value

We got to this motel by mistake. We thought we made reservations to the other America's Best Value Inn in Las Cruces. We were disappointed but grew to love this place in a few ways. First off the owners and managers are absolutely wonderful! You couldn't ask for nicer people. Second, it's not often that you stay at a motel that is run by the owners. The service is the best. The place is a work in progress. It's funky. Some parts aren't well maintained but I have a feeling that they will be in the future. There are works of art done by the owners - the world's largest chile, mosaics, and other sculptures along with gardens and other interesting objects. Our room was very clean also! Wifi was very fast! Those are the good parts. What I really didn't like were the remodeled rooms that look like they had been done by non professionals. New carpet, tile and drapes but other parts left as original. The sheets weren't comfortable and neither was the mattress or pillows. Flat screen tv's in the room were nice. I'm not sure if we'd stay here again. If we did, it would be because we like the owners very much and the room was very clean. Price was also very good.

Simple and clean, just what we needed while on the road. Some nice, colorful touches in the room. Coffee was good, breakfast was also simple, but enough to get us going for the morning. The owners take pride and are working hard to make it a comfortable place to stay. Thank you.

Staff was very accommodating. Room was poorly remodeled. Location just OK.

Got a good nights sleep. Just fine for an overnight stay. Breakfast nothing to write home about. Room and bed were OK.

I booked this motel after reading reviews online. This place is delightful! It's family run and they are so ready to assure you have a pleasant stay. It's a welcome surprise from your standard chain motels, much more personal. The gardens surrounding the pool are amazing. There are all kinds of plants growing, a koi pond and even some turtles live there. The price was so affordable, the location was fine and I will definitely stay there again. Bring your own hairdryer, though.

Extremely Friendly! Owner showed me to my room. His kids had gone ahead of us, turned on TV & Lights. Later, the kids brought me chips & Salsa Older hotel, but comfortable. Didn't care for the breakfast. Anyone who is gluten intolerate would not enjoy it.

Friendliness and cleanliness made up for the location. Family owned friendliness. Brought up chips and salsa and walked us to the room. Would stay again. Picnic tables and grills available for use by patrons.

This is definitely a place to stay when visiting Las Cruces

Very friendly and helpful Inn keeper and his wife. An older hotel slowly on the up swing. Large rooms, comfortable bed, sheets towels the works all clean and fresh. Early morning breakfast adequate but not overboard, cereal, toast, coffee juice etc. A desert garden with a pool, gazebos and bar be cue areas. It is not fancy but it is a great deal for the price ,

not 3 star motel baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad

Very friendly I appreciated hpw friendly the owners and the housekeeping were, and the children of the owners were so cute and friendly...........very professional group of people, We will return to this hotel in the near future.

This was my first trip to Las Cruces. America's Best Value Inn is within close proximity to many local businesses and conveniences (Walgreen's is just down the street). It is the most aesthetically pleasing motel on Picacho Ave. without a doubt. The room was spacious, spotless and had a microwave oven in addition to the usual mini fridge! The inner courtyard was a relaxing environment with beautiful plants. This is my go-to place for future business trips to Las Cruces.

Hotel is under renovation, but nice rooms! Own very friendly and welcoming. Upgraded us to biggest room. Offered sodas and fruit at our arrival! Nice place with big rooms. Great for anyone with a budget.

This hotel was massively renovated in 2008 by a couple who really seems personally invested in making the place nice, not just up to code. Checking in the owner offered complimentary sodas, then walked us back to the room to show us around and make sure we were satisfied. The gardens were not in bloom due to the season, but clearly a lot of work had gone into them...NOT something I expect to see at an America's! The owner pointed out a solid BBQ spot just down the road for dinner. That night they brought complimentary chips and salsa. The next morning the breakfast spread included waffles, cereal, and muffins with juices, milk and coffee. Everyone was friendly, but not to the annoying I-need-to-sleep point at all. I really hope their hotel does well and would stay there again in a heart beat.
