Larco Hotel, for two stars, is very Good, Safe and most importantly Clean. *Staff friendly, caring, polite. *The room was cleaned every day. there are balconies, you can sit in the evening. or near the pool, tables, chairs, bar. Breakfast is also good. Location is very good: the seaside is 2-3min walking, Finikoudes and Mackienzy - 10min. If you want change your trip, you can rent a bicycle. Thank you very much for all staff and this hotel. We will coming back sure.
Well we reserved with half board (breakfast and dinner), the breakfast is awesome with drinks and a lot of different plates. However the dinner it was nothing more than a rip-off! The "fish" it was always the same (and the one I taste it was raw as you can see in the photo), the "soup" is in reality cheap instant soup (and it was the most tasty thing they had in the dinners - believe me), the meat is generally almost the same - dry chicken. It was really poor the dinner and with no drinks included. You can easily eat (much better) with the same amount of money in nearby restaurants. About the clean I need also to refer that the our bed sheets were dirty! However soon I inform the reception they send right away someone to change them.
• Ofc not luxury but for this very low price they are totally okay. • Location is very good! The seaside is 2minutes walking, where you can find nice restaurants like Sea pub restaurant for breakfast is the best place, the best omlett and coffee served by a very nice, joyful old man! Finikoudes 10mins walking. • If you want to stay in a place, where you can sleep at night and take a shower but you are on the beach and exploring all they long this is the place for you. • The staff are helpful. • The hotel is safe and clean but I recommand you to take your own blanket. •P.s.: Another tip; rent a bicycle and explore the places!
I have booked this hotel for 2 nights all inclusive. First of all the room was smelling so bad..the were not any blankets although it was December. The bathroom was very dirty with black bathtub and the WC as well. The food is rated 1/5. Disaster really. The breakfast was OK for this type of hotel. I decided to leave the second day, I couldn't take it anymore, although I have paid for the hotel.
The hotels is located about two blocks from the sea side and it's very close to many local restaurants and shops. Members of staff were very friendly. I am pretty sure teenagers during the summer wouldn't mind their stay at the location but if you have been abroad often and know what quality is all about... well think again about your reservation (price is not everything) The whole place needs an urgent upgrade and the rooms a very deep clean; shower curtains need to be washed and the shower tub also.We found broken stuff all over, from walls to floor and ceiling. They could do a bit more to improve the breakfast options with some fruits and some good juice too.
We knew that we go to a 2 star hotel and we can't expect too much. Breakfast was ok, but once when we went at the end of the breakfast time , there was many people and wasn't more bowl for the muesli. I asked a bowl for my child, but the staff just showed that many people was having breakfast and they used all, that's why there is no more clean bowl. So I went to our room, washed a dirty bowl and gave to my child... Should I be more understanding, that is the end of the breakfast time for the staff?? I was thinking that I am on Holiday... Dinner usually wasn't tasty. There was a variety of food, but many of them didn't have good taste. The staff wasn't Cipriots, they did they job more or less, but they weren't friendly. I could turn a blind eye of everything, but the kindness of the staff is really missing to feel good, so this is the only reason, why I say, I wouldn't go back. However the Hotel provides an acceptable value for money.
They did not transfer us, from airport, to hotel as we set up,and had to take a taxi for that. When we arrived at 22:00, they immediately collected, in advance all the money, for the whole stay, after which I found that they did not have free the room reserved and just paid. They transfere us, at another hotel, a kilometer and some distance, with conditions well below the reservation level. The next morning we wanted to serve breakfast (paid), but the temporary host did not give us this, by sending us to Larco. After insisting we returned to Larco, we served breakfast (good), after which they told us the great surprise that we could enter in our room only after the hours of the catch when it was released. We started with great enthusiasm on this journey, especially as I read the comments about Larco and the fact that many Roumanians work in the hotel. But in the future I will avoid such situations. I have not had such an adventure with any European hotel, not even Turkish, and I claim that I have traveled .... After these, I started through Larnaca, I found another location, canceled the reservation, I moved to much better conditions, after of course, I destroyed a day of my stay.
My partner and I arrived early morning as we had been to Larnaca for a wedding celebration and we needed a place to spend the night. Larco is a budget hotel so I did not expect much but I was pleasantly surprised by the room. The beds were clean and very comfortable. In addition there were annoying no sounds coming from the surrounding bedrooms. The only minor drawback was the fact that the hotel is in great need for a renovation. The bathroom tiles are cracked which makes it a bit dangerous. Overal the stay was satisfactory and I would recommed it for a single night trip.
We booked a room at Larco hotel between Oct 6 to Oct 12. When arriving to the hotel we've been told that "there is a problem with the room" and the receptionist sent us to the most horrible hotel that anyone could imagine "Onicillos hotel" for one night. Cobwebs everywhere, dirty, many broken accessories even the toilet bowl and bead smell. the guy and the woman at the reception were awful an extremely impatient. When asking the next day when we go back to Larco the receptionist said that we are booked for 2 nights. Having no other option we spent one more disastrous night ar Onicillos Hotel and went to look for a proper hotel in the city For understandable reasons we dodn't want to go back to Larco Hotel as we lost confidence that anything there would be different to Onicillos hotel. We ran away from Onicilllos and found a very good hotel: Achilleos and saved our vacation. We lost our money for the additional nights at Larco (or Onicillos??). Never book or go to these Hotels!!!
it's like your uncle decided to build a hotel 30 years ago himself and haven't change anything . everything you touch will break. the toilet venta dosen't work, the air condition was working well about 10 years ago and the electric fuse box "booms" when you enter the key to turn on the power. btw the door of the fuse box kept on falling every time we closed a door. i had my doubt when we asked to see the room before we paid and was refused... the room was similar to other rooms i've been, in indian 20 rupee guest house . there is a little problem with the pool which was on the public sidewalk with a meter wall... on the good side the place was cheap and !clean! and close to the beach and breakfast was ok.
