accommodation: 9 nights Travel by intercity bus from Larnaca to: Ayia Napa, Nicosia, Kyrenia, Paphos, Limassol. Cruise by Aphrodite II from: Ayia Napa to Famagusta. The coastline between the two towns is beautiful with many special features including sea caves and archways carved into the white limestone cliffs and from the comfort of Aphrodite II you can relax onboard and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Your friendly Captain and crew are there to answer your questions as you pass pretty domed chapels and small sandy coves, fishing boats and light houses and when you have reached a particularly beautiful bay with shimmering water, they will be there encouraging you to take the plunge!

Staying in Cactus hotel was an overall great experience. The hotel is just a few minutes on foot from the coastal road and the main street of Larnaca. Great food and hospitality and at very reasonable prices. Looking forward to staying there again!

We spent three nights at this Hotel and found it to be quite comfortable. Nice and clean room, and a nice and varied breakfast. Owners and employees are very polite and ready to provide you with anything you need. The pool was lovely too. Perfect location just 10 minutes walk from the seaside and the famous Finikoudes street. We highly recommend it.

This was a very poor hotel in need of modernisation but despite being old it was clean. Arrival at reception could well have been taken fro a Faulty Towers sketch. I think we were the only English in the hotel which may have led to the language difficulties

Value for money. A hotel in the heart of Larnaca close to beach , restaurants. The staff was very friendly and it was there for anything we wanted. The rooms are renovated and the bed was very comfortable. The food was also amazing. In conclusion Cactus hotel is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to spent some days in Larnaka

The hotel is good value for the money. Considering it was a short stay, 1-2 nights, you can say it's OK choice. Breakfast is horrible, better to eat somewhere else. The servise was below average, though the reseption was helpful and kind. Mind the power socets, they don't mach even with regular adapters. In hotel they charged us 0.50€ for piece of plastic, you put in the socet, for adapter to mach. Also they charge aditional 3.00€ for the Wi-Fi in appartment (!). Because there is free Wi-Fi ONLY by the pool or in the lobby.

Hotel was ok. Towels and sheets changed every second - third day. Bathroom only with shower with curtain(no cabin). You must wait a few minutes for hot water. The walls in room is too thin, and it may be a problem because its a family hotel and u can hear childrens play. Hotel is not very clear, but is ok to sleep and spend a few hours there. The stuff was nice and friendly but didnt have all information we needed.

We just needed a convenient place to stay for short stay. at the beginning were disappointed as the room did not quite match the one on booking.com. The next day we were moved to the room on top floo which was recently refurbished. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom new which made our stay much more pleasant.

Hotel is quite close to the airport so good for a 1 night sleepover. Rooms are clean, however, I don't think it's normal to have cockroaches in the bathroom. When I have mentioned it at the checkout, lady simply ignored it, as if its normal. Breakfast is just horrible, with literally no choice. Though, it's just 35 euro and very close to the airport so lets say its OK.

Stayed here for 1 night to catch a morning flight on the next day. The facilities in the room are quite old, yet the room is clean. My room also had a small balcony in it. The location is 1,5 km south from the main Finikoudes beach; the nearby beach is not for swimming, but is more quiet and is perfect for walking. Breakfast wasn't included in my booking, but, considering the price, it's OK, anyway there's La Croissanterie cafe near the exit to the beach, which seems to be popular with locals and is open 24 hours. Didn't have time to try the pool, unfortunately. Overall, I think this hotel is good for a budget-conscious traveller, if you don't mind being a bit away from the centre, in a more local-feeling area. Will consider again if I need a stopover (or even a few days) in Larnaca again.
