AmericInn Lodge & Suites Laramie - University of Wyoming

Recent guest reviews

We were going cross country and about 2 hours from Laramie chose AmericInn based on the online reviews. They were absolutely right! Clean, quiet, convenient, a little dated decor, but nice. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Any time we make the cross country trip, we now know where we're going to stay. Again, can't say enough about how responsive and nice the staff were.

The room was impressive; it was larger and equipped better than we expected.

Stopped on our way from Ohio to Idaho. We were pleasantly surprised when we got there. It was beautiful inside and out. We thought it was new, but told it had been open 9 years. The room was comfortable and stylish. The bed was great. All the staff were friendly and genuinely cared that we were satisfied with our stay.

I pulled in late needed some good sleep for a long drive the next day and the bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor. Only got about 3 hours sleep and had to start out the next day exhausted.

This was our second stay. Very nice and reasonable price.

The room was fine. The pool and hot tube were disgusting. Seemed dirty, smelly and overloaded with chemicals. The breakfast was almost inedible. I would recommend this place if you just want a room. But if that is all you want there are many cheaper options. I am with kids and wanted the pool and breakfast but they really were not worth the extra.

Breakfast weak and pool dirty. Room was tight for 4 w /2 queen beds. Lobby was nice, best feature.

Perfect hotel, friendly service and great atmosphere.

Really nice little hotel, the people working there were fantastic. Could use a little updating in the paint and carpet, but it is just a nice little hotel.

One of the two main lights in the bathroom did not work and lack of counter space in the bathroom made it difficult to use area. There were not enough electrical outlets for medical equipment that we needed even though we had requested a handicapped room.

Alot of nice ambiance at this newer hotel abit far out on edge of Laramie.Great check in, breakfast area, with candles lit and nice background music playing. Pet Friendly place was appreciated in a newer hotel. Very good sleeping king sized bed and good sized room. Was quiet all night. Nice sink and refrig appreciated on a cross country trip..Laramie is a cool town to visit too downtown. Will definitely be on our list again to stay travelling thro to Oregon.

The location was very close to the interstate. The hotel was very pretty and easily accessible. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The pool was not saturated with chlorine. Everything was very clean! The breakfast actually had healthy good food. The view from the hotel was amazing!! Love the mountains. The bed was a little hard for me, but I like to sleep on a cloud.

Fairly typical chain hotel. Staff was lovely and friendly. Room was clean. Very nice touch having tea/coffee available at all hours. All in all, I would stay again.

Of all the motels we stayed at for 10 days this was the one of the best.

This hotel appears to be brand-new. Comfy beds, good towels, a pleasant indoor pool and hot tub, microwave and fridge in the room, a better than average breakfast and the lobby fireplace made it feel like more than a three-star chain inn. Everything clean and well-maintained. Super friendly and helpful staff. If my daughter decides to attend UW, I'll definitely be back.

We loved the accommodations. The rooms were very quiet and the staff efficient and friendly. We enjoyed shopping in the old downtown area and seeing historic sites in the area.

Accomodations were excellent, but a teen alcohol party was going on next door, replete with loud, 4-letter words, ice thrown in the hallway, and loud voices into the night. At about 2, we called the front desk because it sounded like a fight was breaking out. We heard the front desk call the room, then they called us to explain their actions. Given the nature of the disturbance, I thought they would send someone up to check the situation, maybe a few times, but this didn't happen. Got very little sleep that night.

The AmericInn Laramie is new and had a lovely lobby area - fireplace, stuffed native animals, pine wood railing. Very warm and inviting. Fresh cookies on the desk at check-in. Room was clean with a personalized note from staff. No problems or disappointments there. Small but sufficient work-out room, nice indoor pool. Lots of choices at breakfast, both warm and cold. Perhaps the only thing we did not like was the TV blaring in the breakfast room - not very appetizing. The AmericInn also provided coffee in the lobby - a nice touch. We would most definitely stay at the AmericInn again.

The AmericInn was a charming inn. The lobby was reminiscent of a luxury ski lodge. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were plush and the beds were amazing! I wanted to stay an extra night! I liked the location of the hotel. It was convenient to restaurants & shopping. I was very impressed how quiet the rooms were. I am looking forward to the next opportunity to stay at this great hotel.

It was comfortable, but you could hear everything that was going on in the halls. Room was nice. The hotel itself was nice. No restaurants within walking distance. I think we were there on the wrong weekend.

We are so sorry you didn't sleep. We have special Serta Sleeper beds that are normally nice and soft for everyone. We are so sorry it didn't feel that way to you. We understand and we apologize for your exhaustion.
