I spend alot of time looking at hotels before booking holidays and i was really impressed with this one. Upon arrival we were given a welcome drink, fresh orange, prosecco was an option but not a fan of it myself, guy at check in desk was very helpful, aswell as all the ladies all very polite and willing to help at any time. Went to our room, had booked a room With a hot tub, booked the holiday trough monarch and said they’d get the hot tub on the balcony, which they didnt inform the hotel, but speaking to the guy at reception, sorted it so we could move rooms to one one the balcony (3009) which was perfect. The rooms the perfect size for a holiday, with all facilities you would need, maybe too much with the coffee maker? A kettle is probably easier, but a nice touch. Plenty of wardrobe space and draw space, rain effect shower was very nice. Only thing i wasnt a fan of was the bed, found it abit uncomfortable but i like a hard mattress and this one was abit soft so realise its a taste thing. Rooms and all areas, were always very tidy, maids did a great job, with some nice additions, which ill add in the pictures, but always very tidy. Want to give credit to 3 members of staff, one of which is the lady that does everything (forgot name sorry) she’s so lovely always so polite and smiley but does everything, she greets you for breakfast, does all the pool activites and greets you for dinner in the evening! Has a lovely dress collection too that myself and my partner admired. The other was the waiter who served us most nights Guilherme (Gui) he always made our breakfast and evening meals soo much more, and on days he wasnt the waiter near us he would always make sure he said hello and welcomed us to dinner. The last was the young italian man from milan (awful with names sorry) who normally works in the breeze pool bar, he was there pretty much every day of our holiday, was always so polite and helpful, also makes a great cocktail. All of these a real credit to the great team you have at Barcelo, we didnt meet one member of staff that would discredit this hotel in any way. The pools abit chilly but you adjust pretty quickly, partner said she’d prefer it abit heated and she may have used it more. Sunbed’s seems a strange topic here with the hour rule, sometimes applied sometimes not, dont really see the issue as was always spare sunbeds whenever i wanted and normally didnt go to the pool till around 10. Some people sat there from around 7/8 though. I used the gym a about 4 times on holiday, has a great range of equipment for something small, more than good enough for a free gym. Spa is nice, we went early around 10 when it opened and it did get very busy around 11:30 only thing i was abit gutted about was there was no icebath. Champs bar is good for sport, has so many tv’s and they’ll change to any game they can with a game on the big projector aswell. The area of costa teguise is lovely, has some great views just outside the hotel, with plenty of shops. Would gladly reccommend this hotel to anyone, we had a great holiday here and would definatley consider coming back.

When we arrived we were greeted with glass of Fizz then showed to our room. We booked a sea view with hot tub on the balcony. What a beautiful view we had, the only downside was the wind. The room was unusual in design, not sure about having the coffee machine next to the mirror where you dry your hair/makeup. Food was very good, lots of choice breakfast and evening meal. We stayed end of June and didn't like sitting around the Main Pool as this was very busy so we used to sunbathe around the infinity pool. All the staff work so hard are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel was very nice, modern and clean. I would recommend this hotel and would come back.

A Boutique Stye Hotel First impressions very good a warm welcome a little early for our room but a glass of bubbles and a quick phone call an hay presto our room was ready for us. The room was very nice fresh and welcoming a Coffee Machine plus a kettle on request free bottled water and all three major English tv channels which delighted my wife for her precious soaps. The facilities at this hotel are great from the gym to the spa pools to the bar. However the food is hit and miss. Allow me to explain as a Chef and a Restauranteur I felt it may be better that the Chefs spent more time cocking wonderful Spanish food than poorly imitating English food. I recommend B&B and not half board or though inexpensive by the end of the week it was pretty bad on the tastebuds. The hotel is surrounded by a host of restaurants catering for every body and ever nation Lanzarote has its fair share of gastronomic venues also. Car hire from 35€per day and the Sunday Market is an unmistakable experience for those ho like to shop and bargain. Bag, Shoes, Watches, Beautiful hats and Dresses. Something for everyone. Look out for the talented saxophonist in the markets coffee shop you’ll hear him before you see him. The hotel was fully booked and very well run and very well organised. How ever the British still insist on hogging the sun beds as early as 6am but what can you do if you want a bed join in 😂😂😝😝 I recommend this hotel with its spa available to guests all day every day and the lomi lomi massage is supurb👍👍

My husband and I have just returned from a weeks stay at the Barcelo and we cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The hotel is stunning, very modern and is in immaculate condition. The staff are really friendly welcoming and the arrival drink is a nice touch. The rooms are spotless and come equipped with a mini bar, toiletries, good wardrobe space and the bed was super comfortable. The rooms were cleaned everyday to a good standard. We were half board and were really impressed with the choice of food at both breakfast and dinner. There are plenty of waiters, all of whom are very friendly, so you never waiting long for a drink. The lounge bar is really chilled out and lovely for an after dinner cocktail (Espresso Martini is fabulous!) If you are after something a bit more lively then the Sports Bar, Champs, is a good choice. There is live entertainment every evening and numerous screens showing different sports. Book this hotel now- you will not regret it!

We arrived at hotel and was greeted with a glass of cava, and our cases taken to our room. We did end up changing our room as we emailed and requested a hot tub on the balcony, but when we got to Room hot tub was in the room. We would pay extra for rooms with hot tub on balcony if you could pre book these rooms, or even abit more for the ones with sun beds on the balcony. The rooms are modern and include coffee maker, rain shower, mini bar. We could have done with another bin In the living room, as only a tiny bin in the bathroom. We enjoyed the open air gym, and the lady who did the morning activities around the gym area, we did a stretching class. The hotel pool bar and pool area are really lovely. But It was really windy round pool area. We went back to our room about two as got the sun there without the wind. We enjoyed champs bar and watched a few artist there which we enjoyed everyone. We didnt eat at the champs bar, but food looked good and we were only half board if you are all inclusive you could eat here as well. We would have like to have seen the Beatles but was on as we were leaving. We didn't think much of the food breakfast was ok, evening meal we only ate there twice, one of these days We had steak which was good. Staff were very friendly and hotel spotless, we had a cocktail in the blounge bar which was a chilled bar. I had a spa treatment a beauty flash, it was excellent, I really rate the spa highly and we paid to go into the spa circuit which we thought was excellent, we had spa to ourselves. Do think if you book treatments you should get some discount off the spa though.

Hi just got back from the Barceló we stayed for one week. our plane was an hour late leaving Dublin the service on board was terrible if you want to go to this wonderful hotel make your own way and book better flights, anyway we got there at 10.30 and the food hall was closed we were tired went to bed. We woke to a wonderful surprise a beautiful Deluxe room including bubbly bath all mod cons on the ground floor leading to the pool and lovely sun loungers. The food hall is amazing, wow so much to choose from everything was done with great care and professionalism. The staff are so friendly and attentive they love it when you try a little Spanish, one girl in particular, her name escapes me she is from Estonia, well she in charge of day time entertainment a fantastic girl a credit to the company, anyway check it out for yourselves, its a great place and great achievement, well done!!!

firstly would like to say what great staff a special mention to goya great smile and very attentive food great from sirloin steak to black pudding drink and all food good managed too get a lounger by pool before 11am but 1 hour rule only seemed to apply when lifeguard turned up noticed many times when we put our towels down at about am 0820 am people had towels down we came back from breakfast at 0900 they did not come back till 1020 2 hours after us so if being imposed needs somebody out early.also could we have waste bin in room.lastly is it possible for all inclusive people have wrist band instead of giving room number or signing every time you ate or drank these are minor issues and no way as put of coming back as had a great nice peaceful time only people who write bad reviews are those who want loud music round pool and lilos in pool which is narrow and would be a nuisance in pool

Visited for a week away with my husband and our friends. Late arrival and we are told we had 15 minutes if we wanted something to eat so we're pushed to restaurant. Room was nice but view with hot tub was overlooking a car park so we complained and got moved to a different room on day 2. Food in the buffet was excellent, Lunch at the pool bar was nice too. Champs was ok just greasy pub food. Great location, exceptionally windy (as is Costa Teguise) with bars and restaurants just outside the hotel. Main pool was nice but a little bit boring no music as such and no floats allowed. The lady who did the morning activities was lovely , please try the spinning in the pool it's great fun! Bar staff really friendly and good service too. Once we checked out we weren't allowed any more all inclusive drink we had a voucher for champs for lunch and as we weren't getting collected until 5.30pm for the airport we are just hanging round. Never been to an all inclusive before where as soon as you checked out you couldn't get any of the all inclusive you had paid for even though we missed a whole first day. Would we go back...no. We have been spoilt going to Mexico and for the price of this holiday I would rather go there. It's a lot of money to pay for horrid jet2 flights too!

The week I spent at this hotel everything was perfect from start to finish, the staff are truly amazing especially the maids and restaurant staff. Our room was cleaned perfectly everyday with fresh towels, bedding and toiletries replaced. The restaurant staff were very friendly and the food was always fresh, and a huge variety to chose from. I highly recommend costa tequise and this hotel.

My wife and I have just returned back from our honeymoon from this hotel. I can only say good things about it and its staff. The moment we walked into our stunning room (room 3043) we knew we had made the right choice. There was a bottle of pink champagne on ice, 24 red roses, chocolates and strawberries waiting for us, just as i had arranged 😄, next was the stunning jacuzzi on a private balcony that offered beautiful views of the sea and Costa Teguise 👀😍. The room was modern, clean and beautifully presented, the bed was probably the comfiest bed i have ever slept in. The room was kept pristinely clean throughout, we even had the option of a variety of fragrances to choose from in the room every day. Even the lobby smelt lovely at all times of the day. I have read some reviews stating that there is insufficient cupboard space, no full length mirror and the shower leaks into the room ? Firstly, although the cupboard/drawer space may be slightly limited it does not really warrant a mention, it did not detract from our holiday in any way, we did not realise that there was a full length mirror until we noticed the toilet door pulled shut revealing the full length mirror, maybe other reviewers were not aware of this ? Lastly the shower was perfect ..no leaks what so ever .. The restaurant always had a good selection of food which well presented and of very good quality and very tasty. The hotel was sophisticated, tranquil, pleasant and spotlessly clean at all times. Most importantly though i have to mention the staff, they were all helpful, approachable, attentive and professional. But a special mention has to go to these two waiters - GOYO ROMERO and JAVIER GARCIA. Goyo went beyond the pale to be friendly and attentive, he was always there for a friendly chat, he always seemed to be in a jovial mood, as well as this he never stopped working, i even joked to my wife that there must be 3 of him because everywhere you looked he seemed to be around being helpful in his own special way. Javier was much the same, so hard working, helpful and friendly .. if he was not serving you he was constantly on the move cleaning tables etc . Mr Barcelo - give these 2 people a raise in pay. They are a credit to your hotel, i can not heap enough praise on them .. its people like Goyo and Javier that make our holiday special 😄 5 star all the way .. i would recommend this hotel to anybody Finally as Goyo always said "Salute" Chris Hobbs
