Room smelled bad, towels and sheets were old and dirty. Carpet stained , furniture was scratched, reminded me of a crack house when I was in law enforcement. The tub was painted. I wouldn't even shower in that room. I want my money back. Total dump. I would rather sleep in a dumpster. They should be off your list.

It said it was a smoke free hotel well it smelt like smoke I came home the next day smelling of smoke bad. The tub and toilet were nasty!.. the tile floor felt nasty the carpet area in some spots felt like you were gonna fall through the floor! The air conditioner was so loud and smashed up! If it would not have been so late when I got there I would have stayed elsewhere!

Its good if all the hotels are booked in the area and you need somewhere to rest for the night. It took a long time for the shower/sink water to get warm. If its a vacation for pleasure I would suggest seeking different accommodations.

the good thing is this is a hotel in east lansing. bad part is that it is an old and not in good shape.

Bathroom Door wouldn't close, Bath Sink was plugged, Security Lock on entry door didn't work, Remote for TV didn't work, Sheet on bed was torn. Worst was build up on floor behind toilet.

The motel looked like it was under construction. The outside looked dirty and not taken care of. Could not find a ice machine. The room was clean, it was just the outside of the motel was not impressive at all.

I chose Super 8 because its location was unmatched. I needed to be at an MSU medical school event and it was only a 10 minute, convenient drive away. For the price and as a poor student, this was perfect. I only needed a place to stay. The room was well-kept, clean, and tidy (the bedspread definitely did not scream, "Motel!" Frankly my room was chilly but they provided adjustable heating. Limited breakfast options but they had coffee and bananas and cereal varieties which sufficed. Last, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The facility overall provided all the basic amenities. Yes, the exterior and stairwell could use an update, but for all intents and purposes, I was quite satisfied and well-rested for the big day ahead.

Although we paid way more for this hotel than it should have been worth, the location and what we needed it for worked perfectly.

We knew it was the cheapest option near the MSU campus, but this is old-school super 8. It was definitely a a smoking room at some point, and the pillows were pretty bad. I would stay there again by myself to save money, but I don't think I'd put my family through it if they were coming with:)

Very dirty, No Sheets on one Bed, Door would not lock. Got asked to leave because of dog. The second room that was not used and they would not refund our money. We lost over $300.00 and had to find another hotel after 9:00pm on a thursday night.

Convenient location to campus, friendly staff. GREAT PRICE.

This motel wasn't full on a football weekend for a reason. It's below "A Dive." Busted up A/C units for every room. Toilet, sink, bathtub leaking. At least the TV worked.

Staff friendly. Room was clean and of average appearance but price very good for the area. Surprised it even included small breakfast.

This hotel has potential to be a great "boutique" kind of hotel if it just got a new coat of paint and a power wash to the outside.

Do not book here, it is awful. We walked in and walked right out. For $30 more you can stay at a lovely hotel like Comfort Suites. This place was smelly, dirty, and scary, door lock did not even work.... Honestly, don't do it.....this is the worst place I have ever seen.

chip, deserved money, good for quick one night sleep, but not for family stop.

This hotel is a total dump. Do not waste your money on this place. Yes, it may be the cheapest place in Lansing, but it is also the cheapest place in Lansing. The old addage that "you get what you pay for" definitely applies here. There was no lighting in the hallways and if arriving after dark (as I did) it does not feel safe. The room was dirty and run down. The "breakfast" felt more like a gas station grab and go and the location did not feel safe at all. Do yourself a favor and pay more for something nicer.

Room was in need of repair. Paint peeling, burn countertop, bathroom door would not close, noisy heater, no lamp shade, moldy shower.

Crude but comfortable

The room smelled like urine. The bed had no fitted sheet, just a flat sheet on the mattress. The carpet and furniture had major water damage. There was actually a blood stain on the wall near the window. The worst motel I have ever been to.
