After paying for one night, we were gifted another night by a very sweet guest we became friends with ( true story) but shortly after we get a call from the front desk saying a housekeeper accused us of having a chihuahua in our non "pet friendly" room ( This ramada does accept pets but only in certain rooms and with a fee) ...we have no chihuahua but as long as we were getting accused, we decided to have a family member who was keeping our dog( a very different breed from the chihuahua) bring her up and we would go ahead and pay the fee and switch rooms. It's amazing, the "pet friendly" rooms are the same price but such a huge downgrade in terms of room quality. The smell from what I was told was the cleaning product used to clean the room is horrible. The mattresses were not nearly as comfortable and everything else in the room was just kind of...dingy. Not to mention the staff member who moved us was beyond rude about it. Very short and seemingly inconvenienced by helping the guests in addition to trying to overcharge the room rate. When the manager was contacted about this, he was even more rude and refused to even apologize for his staff's rudeness ( while she could be heard in the background complaining) sarcastically saying it "had nothing to do with his operation" in addition to not wanting to listen to our other complaints. Doesn't exactly this hotel inviting to come back too.

The staffs were friendly, and our room was clean and neat. The parking lot needs to be repaved due to numerous large pot holes. I hit one and thought I broke my suspension. The parking lot is large and plenty of room to park. The free Continental breakfast was okay and staffed with friendly servers. The restaurant Finly is attached to the hotel and that is real convenience; good food, great prices, friendly waitress and easy to get back into your room after a few drinks.

Me and my family had 3 rooms and neither of the rooms that we booked were available till an hour later than the original check in time. It was very inconvenient

Red eye flight from California and I was hoping to be able to c/in earlier than normal but no such luck. Had to hang out at Borders and have lunch before I can c/in to rest my weary bones. Otherwise, it was a decent stopover before my 2 hour drive to my final destination.

Everything was just fine. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was good and the highway was easy to reach.

I HATED sooo much about the Ramada!!! The building is old and much about it seems ___________. The bathrooms are sooo small, you can barely move around. And there are no towel racks! The way they make the beds makes it very difficult to pull up the covers to get into at night. There are no microwaves in the rooms so you can't take leftovers and reheat them. There is also no microwave in the room where they serve breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, they say they serve from 6 to 10 but I got down there at 9:30 the first morning and the food was all gone. There were lots of angry people. Also the room where they serve breakfast is small, dark and crowded not at all appealing. Various things got missed when they serviced my room. One morning I was getting ready to go out when the housekeeper came to my room. I asked her if she could come back in 20 to 30 minutes after I had left. She said she couldn't because she only had one more room to clean and then she'd be going home for the day. The elevator closest to my room smelled HORRIBLE the whole time I was there. My guess is that someone had vomited in it. They may have washed the carpet but they didn't use a good product that also gets odors out. Instead they sprayed it with air freshener every couple of days but that did nothing to get rid if the smell because it was in the carpet, not the air. I've been staying across the street at the Comfort Inn for years but this was a last minute trip and they couldn't accommodate my entire stay. I love and enjoy the Comfort Inn. I will NEVER stay at the Ramada again!

Everything beat my expectations for the price i didn't expect much but the staff was friendly, pool and hot tub area was nice a little arcade and kid friendly activities. Room was very clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast had a ton of options and Finley restaurant was delicious. Close to a lot of Lansing top attractions. We will return Thank You

We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and the hotel satisfied one night. The pool area is nice but the pool is not large enough for the amount of rooms the hotel has. it got crowded.

Room was gross- everything needed talc or replacing. Pool was cold. Breakfast was ok.

Needs a complete update ,walks cracked.Old fixtures, plumbing,tv's etc. Would not recommend

This hotel was a little older than I expected, but it had a nice large indoor pool area that had some video games that the kids could play when they got tired of swimming. They do serve a full breakfast with lots to choose from which was a plus. Only thing I didn't like much was that the housekeeper said I had to ask to get my sheets changed, so if your not aware of that you may not get them changed your whole stay. They have a decent restaurant that's connected to the hotel that also has a bar if you don't want to go to far . Over all it was a. Nice stay!!

We stayed one night at this hotel when traveling west. The location is right off the highway and easy to find. Our King room was very large, with an updated bath. The room was actually stylish, with a leather chair and large round matching ottoman. However, this room must have been a smoking room at one point, and the smell was still there. There is a pool and large play area for children inside the hotel. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Along with the usual items, there was bacon, eggs, homefries and fresh strawberries. Waitstaff served coffee and were attentive. Overall this was a very pleasant respite after a long day driving, and well worth the price.

Staff was fantastic. The hotel is older but clean. For sure needs new pillows. My only complaint was a faint old and smoky smell and terrible pillows that have probably been there since the early 60's.

We stopped on our way to the UP. The rooms were clean and nice. Nice breakfast in the morning. Price was good and will stay here again if traveling in that direction again

Worse night stay in a very long time. Fire alarm went off on Saturday night (Sept 8th, 2014) close to mid-night. Staff actually got upset with guests. I am a retired firefighter, and when the alarm went off nothing was followed as far as guest notification, I feel they just didn't care. One handicap woman had a hard time getting out of her room. Then to top it off, the next morning, I only had 1 full size towel in the room for 2 people. I was in room 386. I will NEVER stay at this Ramada again...maybe any Ramada based on how things were handled and how I was treated. G. B.

I reserved the room one week prior, King size/ non-smoking, and when I checked in they gave me a double queen. I called and said it was the wrong room and hey said that they may not have the room I wanted available. I told them I made the reservations early and read them my receipt. Only then they said okay and immediately transferred me to the correct room. The room however was right above the pool with windows over looking. At 7am they must open the pool bc all I could here were children laughing and screaming in the pool from that point on. Also when I first got to the hotel I got stuck in the elevator, when the door opened the lady's response was "yeah, we've been having trouble with that one. Try the other." Not sure if I'd go back.

This hotel was average. There is a water play area for kids and there were a lot of them there. Walls are thin and noise levels were noticeable at midnight. Beds were not too sturdy. The hotel is on the dated side and some renovations dont really match. However, the value for the sub $ 100 range is not bad.

Could hear everything in the hallway and room next door. Hallways were freezing. Breakfast was almost decent.

The pillows in the hotel were aweful. We asked for more and were told there were not any available. We pikced the hotel to take the shuttle to the airport and we had to end up driving as they had no shuttle planned for the time we were leaving. I would not stay at this hotel again.

I stayed for business, my room was over 80 degrees on check in and I battled all night with the heater cycling between sauna and refrigerator; I did request a repair from management. The hotel itself was run down and in disrepair. My room door did not have a room number on it - I had to deduce this from the room next door which had its room number scrawled in marker on the door. I finally had enough at 5 am and checked out at 6am because I couldn't stand to be there anymore. The bathroom had someone else's hair stuck to the mirror and vanity, which I only noticed as I was getting ready in the morning. The hot breakfast was foul with few nutritious and no vegan options. Inadequate parking, and the lot itself is in bad disrepair with large potholes that fill with water and ice. This is an appropriate hotel for large children's birthday parties on a budget; there is a large pool area that is probably the best maintained part of the facility although certainly no gem. Woolf by stay here again for any purpose.
