Hotel walking distance to Sesame Place. Room was spacious.

Location cannot be better for visiting Sesame Place. All other guests were families with children like us. Many food options in the area when not in park. True story- wife dropped and cracked phone, and with a verizon store in walking distance from hotel, she got a brand new one within an hour.

This experience was awful. Check in was suppose to be 3pm, and when we arrived to check in at 3:50, the room was not ready, they said because of staffing check in was pushed to 4pm, we waited. Could not check in. At 4:30pm we left and said to give a call when room was prepared. At 7:30pm room was still not ready. We did not get into a room until nearly 8pm. The staff had no rationale, no assistance, and offered nothing. Kicker to this all- On their website and on Orbitz there is a mention of a pool. The pool has not been open in 2 years and is in disrepair with no prospect of opening. Do NOT stay here.

The property appears tired, dated, and worn out - just in general. A couple of specific examples - the juice machine was broken, the exhaust in our bathroom was making a very loud noise when we got the room. There was also no housekeeping for short stays because of covid. Had it not been for the staff, who were all very friendly and extremely helpful, we would have been dissatisfied. The main draw for the hotel is the great staff and that it is so close to Sesame Place. We were not staying here for the park. If you are not here for Sesame I would look elsewhere. They did have plenty of parking but it is $15 per night. Thanks again to the staff, especially Pat for making our stay comfortable.

It was incredible close to Sesame Place and shops and restraunts, but no access to pool area. When we did see the pool, it was sooooo small. In the beginning the water was lukewarm and ice machine on our floor was broken. Room was clean and neat.

Horrible experience- I have gone to this hotel frequently when going to sesame as it is literally across the street. But NEVER EVER going there again. 1. Bathroom - by the toilet the walls had urine and urine piling on back of toilet on floor. There was also two spots of dried fecal matter on the floor by the right side of toilet. 2. Wall had some splatter of blood or ketchup who knows because I’m not going to investigate that. 3. The comforter and bed sheets were old and had ruing as well as blood stains that probably just never came out but come on your a hotel. Throw it out. 4. Mattresses were old and caved in middle. As well as sofas cushions were horrible. If I saw this all when I checked in - I would never have stayed and demanded a new room. But we left our luggage and headed to sesame right after so didn’t notice till the next day when we got back early from sesame. And by then we leave the next night - so we didn’t use any of the dirty stuff and we wear shoes all the time anyway in hotels and thank goodness. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND I told staff as I checked out and they just said ok we will tell cleaning staff. During these covid times - this was just not acceptable.

Worked perfect for our quick stay. Staff was very kind and accommodating. Would stay again.

The location was good about 30 minutes away from City Centre Philly. Breakfast was included and the room was clean but it could use some updating. Our heater sounded like an old car that took forever to start up. We ended up having to turn it off to get some sleep. Also lacked essentials in our room but good thing we brought our own.

Everyone that is looking at this hotel is going to Sesame Place. Left face it’s the perfect location ! I didn’t get to go into the pool area but I did take a glance at it and the fitness center. It looked well kept and clean the pool was on the small side but if your spending the day at sesame place it will feel that way compared to the large wave pool. The business center is located right next to the front desk which doesn’t give much privacy or quiet but it does have everything you except in a “work environment”.

First before you even get in side the parking situation is aweful. They have a small area in which you can park yourself, but the area holds approximately 6 cars. With sesame being in walking distance this would be ideal. But the lot stays full bc there are only six spaces and you are forced to valet. We waited in line for hours in a very full reception area. Guests were everywhere trying to get into the room they booked. After roughy 5 hours we left and ended up driving home after a full day of sesame heat and water rides. We were all exhausted and we just wanted to take showers and relax but instead we drove 3 hours back home. Not convenient whatsoever and i was able to make it home off of the mad fumes that were steaming from my head. I feel like this hotel not only put my family at risk, but didn’t have another solution - like a speedy check in elsewhere maybe at a nearby hotel.
