This is a fantastic hotel. Couldn't fault it. Second year running me and my son have been to stay. Very reasonably priced and makes one of the best full English breakfasts around. Julie and Steve are very accommodating defo 5 stars from us
Just stayed at the Parkfield again with our wonderful hosts Julie and Steve very enjoyable clean (new bathrooms are marvellous) very good breakfast which Julie goes out of her way to ensure you get what you ask for wouldn't stay anywhere else in Blackpool thanks again and won't be long till we return x
Fantastic stay once again, couldn't have asked for more, breakfast as always is plentiful and fantastic, Wee man loves staying there in "his" room lol suffice to say we will be back, so if your looking for somewhere to stop whilst at Blackpool I would check out the Parkfield, always a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble, clean and homely, 2 min walk from pleasure beach and South pier...you can find them on booking.com also.. see you next time.
Another super break at the Parkfield, Julie & Steve the perfect hosts. rooms are just what you need for a weekend in Blackpool, and the breakfast will set you up for the day. looking forward to our next visit in September.
This was a first time stay for one of us and a third stay for the other. We were given a very friendly welcome by Julie who explained how things worked and showed us our room. The room itself was clean, modern, and had a lovely en-suite. Some people may think the room we had was small and I think we may have had the smallest room in the hotel, however it was absolutely fine for what we looking for and we had no complaints. The breakfast, a full English fry-up, was perfect. There was a range of cereals available as well, and Julie was keen to accommodate any requests regarding the meal. We couldn't have asked for a nicer breakfast. The facilities at the hotel are quite basic, but we knew that before we arrived. With that being said there is still a communal TV room, a pool table and bar. The bedrooms also had a TV, safe, and tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the waterfront and the pleasure beach, but far enough away that there is no noise from the main strip. There is on-street parking however this will fill up very quickly so if you manage to get a spot, stay there! However there are plenty of secure car parks nearby if you want to pay a small fee. Overall, a great stay, reasonably priced and would definitely recommend for a couples weekend break
Another 5 lovely days spent in this cosy /friendly and clean B&B with fantastic breakfasts with brilliant service and nothing was too much trouble. The well stocked bar is a great place for a drink or two if you want to relax. We have been going here for the last 10 years or so and would not go anywhere else-----great value for money!! Already looking forward to next visit and seeing steve and julie.
Lovely stay with Julie and Steve. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was exquisite would definitely stay there again. Rooms were clean and checked every day. Worth every penny. Makes everyone feel welcome and is very good with children.
