My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights B/B from 19th June 2018. It was our first time in this hotel although we have visited Blackpool many times Our room was a deluxe double on the 3rd floor overlooking the hotel entrance. It was a good size with comfortable bed and we had a very good sleep throughout. The bathroom had a bath and shower. Breakfast was good with a variety of cereals and pastries. The hot food consisted of fried eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato, scrambled eggs and hash browns. This was more than adequate but what I thought was unnecessary was that there was a supplement charge of 2 pounds if you wanted a poached or boiled egg. There was also a supplement of 2 pounds if you wanted mushrooms. I haven,t came across this before. I can understand supplements for more unusual items but not for a different way of cooking an egg. That small issue aside, which was more of a talking point, I would return to this hotel as we had an enjoyable stay

Great hotel if using the Pleasure Beach with its very own vip entrance. Lovely staff, tasty breakfast and great parking. Rooms are clean, comfortable and up to date. Great place to stay in Blackpool for all ages!

I have visited this hotel 3 years in a row bringing a disabled lady for a week away. The facilities are perfect to assist with showering etc. This hotel is clean and modern, the staff who service the rooms daily are excellent. All staff are very helpful in any questions we had and made sure I never had to struggle when pushing a wheelchair through doorways etc. A male manager (unsure of his name) who was working in the morning of 22/6 could not do enough to help us and we would like to thank everyone, but especially him for our amazing stay. 11/10 - we will be definitely be coming back again for our 4th consecutive year Danielle

The room was excellent and from booking to checking out the staff have been excellent and understanding. We’ll definitely return. My only exceptionally minor gripe is that the only available exit from the park means that you need to walk along the prom back to the hotel and the building works and derelict buildings don’t make it a great walk back. If you were able to allow hotel residents to get back through the park/hotel door at park closing time it’d be perfect.

Really good hotel. My room was spotless and comfortable. The breakfast is very good and the hotel is right on the pleasure beach. Lovely welcome from Shrelle and Hannah on reception nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely stay here again.

Everything at this hotel is really good. Food nice. Breakfast nice. Bed ok but not as comfy as I thought as the springs were coming through. But ok for 2 nights. You just need to be AWARE that if you call this hotel to book they use a premium number As well. We got back home and my phone bill showed it cost me 4.37p just to make a booking which took just couple minutes.

Hotel was absolutely perfect and find it hard to find fault. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Lovely breakfast and restaurant meals offering plenty of choice including children's meals. Easy access to pleasure beach (at certain times). Would prefer a few grab rails in bathroom as deep bath and shower - can be difficult for those with mobility difficulties. Restaurant can be cold, air conditioning is good but not needed all the time.

Stayed for 1 night on 16th June, lovely big, clean hotel, staff very friendly, room was very comfy, lovely bathroom, everything extremely clean. Had a drink in the bar, reasonably priced. Great quiet nights sleep, full breakfast in the morning, as much as wanted. Easy access to the trams across the street. Will definitely stay there again.

We were very impressed with the up-to-date, spotless and nice facilities the Big Blue offered. This was our first visit to Blackpool as we wanted to see a British "version" of Coney Island, or Atlantic City - historic vacation destinations that in the past were huge draws for tourists. We found Blackpool still to be an interesting and unique seaside resort. Located steps off the Promenade and next door to the Pleasure Beach amusement park, our traveling companion had a direct view out her window of a roller coaster. Our room faced the street but we were very pleased - especially with the cold room A/C since Britain was going through an early heat wave. The included breakfast buffet was extensive and prepared to a quite high standard for the rates charged. We would definitely stay here again based on the cleanliness, convenience, helpful staff and great value Big Blue provides its guests.

Spotless rooms lovely breakfast and very polite and helpful staff .would highly recommend this hotel everything we needed hair dryer flat screen tv comfy bed tea coffee facilaties and our room 433 looked out over the theme park
