My self and 3 friends stayed in the big blue hotel last weekend, saturday til sunday. We arrived by train to the pleasure beach stop and the hotel is 1 minute walk away. Upon arrival we was greeted by a friendly member of staff who informed us that both rooms had been upgraded (fab) we arrived at around 11am and was told our rooms were already ready for us (check in isn't usually til 3pm.) We booked a deal for the room and pleasure beach wristbands (£129 for 2 people) after dropping our bags off in our rooms, we headed through the restraunt straight in to the pleasure beach, no need for queuing. We filled out our breakfast cards and hung them on the door to be collected, for just a £5 tray charge for breakfast in bed, you can choose as many things as you like of the breakfast menu. On the sunday after checking out at 11am we was allowed to leave our bags in the hotel while we went out for the day which was handy. Then when we came back to collect our bags before heading for the train home we went for coffee in the hotel Batista. The seating areas were comfortable and the coffee was fairly priced. Overall i really enjoyed my stay and would definatly return.

Hotel was very clean and the staff were very professional and helpful. The room was great with 2 easy chairs. The shower was very powerful and the water very hot. We enjoyed our stay. Tram was two minutes away as was train station

Great weekend at Big Blue, dined on Friday night, food was lovely and staff fantastic. Breakfast each morning was spot on, being able to pick up Pleasure Beach passes and enter the park straight from the hotel was great. Rooms and housekeeping great too. A great weekend made even better by the amazing staff in the hotel, without exception exceeded expectations.

Rooms were very comfortable and decor and furniture were high end staff could not do enough breakfast was fantastic the resturant for ala carte evening meals were very nice in a lovley resturant would highly reccomend would only stay here when visiting blackpool

We had booked for one night in a family room with wristbands. It’s great having parking on site after a long drive with kids. Rooms weren’t ready till later in the day but we took advantage of the vip access to the pleasure beach and had a great time there. Upon our return we checked in and our room was ground floor next to our other family members who were staying which was a bonus. The rooms are very spacious and the kids bunks with TVs etc is a nice area for them to chill after a busy day. Everything was spotless and the tea tray was perfect in the morning. Our view was of the Pepsi max which kept our little one amused. We ordered room service for dinner and was told around a 45min wait which was fine and food was alright when it came. I slept really well as did the kids and the next morning breakfast we were seated straight away and the food on offer was fabulous cannot fault it. I would definitely return again to this hotel had a fabulous time.

Comfortable hotel with friendly staff. We had a family room with bunk beds for the kids. Xbox in the room but you have to rent games. Liked the early and direct park access. Breakfast had a nice selection, no low fat option on yoghurt though. Would stay again.

Went to the restaurant with a friend for lunch and could not fault it. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic (especially from the Manager Ben Jones who was lovely!). Will definitely be dining here again!

Had a weekend away with my boyfriend a teenage son, my son got his own room next door to ours, no hsssles. The staff were extremely friendly and lovely. The evening meal was superb, my boyfriend still talks about how it was the best meal he’d ever had and was amazed how reasonable the price was. The breakfast in the morning was just as amazing and had plenty of choices to suit everyone and all ages, can’t wait to go back hopefully for longer

Visited during the Easter break so the hotel was rather busy. Arrived around 11am and for a space in the large car park available onsite which is free during your stay. We went to the check in desk to purchase some pleasure beach tickets, we got these at the lower internet rate with the hotel being on the pleasure beach and an entrance is also available on site into the park. The receptionist said she could check us in early as there was some rooms ready which was great. We had a family room which was spacious with a king bed and bunk beds. The area with the bunk beds also had two extra TVs and a PlayStation. We had breakfast included which was a good experience. Considering it was the Easter holidays and the hotel was very busy the staff in the breakfast area managed the demand very well. They also served gluten free sausages, toast and cereal which was Music to my ears being celiac. We had a great view from our room and could watch the rollercoasters from the room. Will return to this hotel if we go back to Blackpool.
