we had about 50 boats at this event so much fun. we get together once a year at this location. looking forward to next year. perfect location for this size get togeher abundant parking & good boat ramps.
Although we were evacuated from the hotel the day after we arrived due to heavy rains and flooding, we enjoyed our brief stay. When we went back the next day to pick up some things we forget, we were cross-examined and lectured by the front desk person as to how did we 'get in' and why did we come in - and no one was allowed in ... and on and on. We went away feeling like naughty children rather than valued customers!
I was very disappointed with this resort (?). The suite we stayed in was rundown and not very clean. The carpet was very worn and needed to be replaced. There were bugs everywhere - alive and dead - in the room. We had to ask for our FREE coffee to be replenished on the 2nd day. The toilet was sluggish and the bathtub drainage was horrible. We were on the bottom floor and we had an extremely noisy family of six above us. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, nor do I ever intend to stay at this hotel again.
